Enjoyable Mafia story
Kate has been away working in LA. After running out of options, she came back to her home town. Where her brother works for his best friend Mick. Who is the local Mafia Don. Rory asked his friend to give his sister a job in one of legal businesses.
Mick is falls for Kate, who has had a crush on Mick since she was a teenager.

Whew. Mafia Boss' Surprise Baby by Natasha L. Black came in hot like a shot of whiskey on an empty stomach—burning all the way down and leaving me absolutely breathless.
Let me just say this: I love a dangerous man with a velvet snarl and a jawline that could slice through glass. Mickey O’Halloran? Yeah… he’s that and so much more. Irish mob royalty with ice in his veins and fire in his gaze—and I, like the poor heroine of this story, stood no chance.
I slipped into this book thinking I was just signing up for a bit of forbidden workplace tension (which I live for), but oh no… what I got was a full-on emotional mafia rollercoaster. Mickey isn’t just the brooding boss with a body made for sin—he’s lethal, possessive, and so devastatingly loyal that you forget he could just as easily snap a man’s neck as he could whisper something dirty in your ear. And don’t even get me started on how he handles surprise baby news—I legit melted.
The heroine? I saw myself in her. Smart, grounded, and trying to survive in a world where one wrong move could cost her everything. Her inner strength and vulnerability were so relatable, especially as she navigated the wildest "oh-no-I-slept-with-my-mafia-boss-and-now-I’m-pregnant" plot I’ve read in a while—and trust me, I’ve read a lot of those.
There was heat (obviously), but Natasha L. Black brought heart too. And stakes. Real ones. The kind where you clutch your Kindle and whisper, don’t do it, girl… okay do it, but RUN!
Bottom line? If you love dangerous men who go soft for one woman (and maybe their baby), protective mafia drama, and a heroine who doesn’t just survive but thrives, then this story is calling your name. Just don’t be surprised if Mickey O’Halloran ruins all other fictional men for you.

Finally Living out Her Fantasies -
The last like Micky saw Kate he saw her as his best friend’s little sister, but everything changed when she returned after completing her education and she started working for him. Kate had been crushing on Micky for years, but she thought she could hold herself back whilst working closely with him. Nevertheless, Micky and Kate grew closer the more time they spent together and their attraction for each other led to them embarking on a secret relationship.
Unfortunately, Micky and Kate’s happiness was disrupted when an incident occurred that scared her enough to make her walk away. However, Kate soon discovered her life was about to change and that she was in love with Micky, but her stubborn didn’t allow her to tell him. Luckily, Kate’s brother managed to get her to open up about everything, which led to him being the catalyst to bringing her and Micky back together, so they could get the happily ever after they deserved.
I loved reading this fantastic romance story, that took me on one heck a rollercoaster ride, but my enjoyment of each page turn was really worth the time spent reading the book. I highly recommend this book as your next weekend reading.

Mafia Boss’ Surprise Baby is absolutely suspenseful and a page turning mafia romance. This novel had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. This novel follows the story of Mickey and Kate. The chemistry between these two characters is absolutely amazing and smoldering hot. I absolutely adored getting to know both Mickey and Kate as well as witnessing their story come to life through the pages of this book. I absolutely love that they have a happy ending to their story with them being happy together as a couple raising their child together. Mafia Boss’s Secret Baby is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Natasha L. Black. She continues to showcase what a talented author she is with each book I’ve read by her thus far. She continues to create and write phenomenal romances that I absolutely enjoy reading. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing romances from this author in the future. I would certainly recommend this book for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

Katie thought she was a failure. Having to go back to Boston from LA because she couldn't make ends meet in Los Angeles. Her brother Rory is second in command with the O'Halloran Irish mafia and gets Mickey, the boss, to give her a job in the legitimate businesses. She is good with numbers and is studying for her CPA exams. When Mickey interviews her, he can't believe how she has grown and can't get her out of his head. When his lead forensic accountant has a heart attack, he needs someone to fill in while he gets better. The best candidate he can think of is Katie. She has a thing for numbers and the guy who is being groomed to take over is not very good. Katie has had a crush on Mickey since she was a young girl. Mickey can't get her out of his head. They both have the hots for each other, but Katie is planning on going back to LA after she finishes her CPA. She doesn't want to be in the business. Will it work out? or will it all fall apart? This was a good mafia romance. Enjoy.

What a great addition to the Sinful Mafia Daddies Series. When Katie can’t maintain her lifestyle in LA she returns home to Boston and moves in with her older brother, Rory in their family home. Rory is Mickey O’Halloran’s right hand man of the Irish Mafia. When Mickey offers Katie a job at a legitimate business these two become aware of the other in ways that are forbidden. With Katie’s ability to work with numbers Mickey offers her the job and when his accountant has health issues Katie finds herself taking the job temporarily for all the businesses against her brother’s wishes. Katie’s childhood crush moves into an adult relationship quickly and boy are they both enjoying their time together. Katie knows she needs to walk away due to the crime and danger but her heart belongs to Mickey so she keeps her word by making the toughest decision ever. Unexpected situation gives them a chance to figure out if their lives will become more if they can take a chance at Love! Nobody writes dark and steamy mafia romance better than Natasha Black. Mafia Boss' Surprise Baby had reading to the very last page,. Mickey head of the Irish Organization in Boston and he agrees to give his best friend's little sister Kate a job working for one of his legitimate businesses. Kate feels like a failure after having to return to Boston but she is grateful to be home with her brother. Mickey knows he's in a dangerous position with the intense attraction he has to the very grown up Kate. And Kate's teen-age crush on Mickey comes back even stronger then before. Definitely recommend this page turner.

When the accountant for the mob gets hospitalized he ask Katie to take over until the guy gets back but Katie and Mickey have a strong attraction even if he is fifteen years older but that does not stop them from being together but he tells her he can never give her more because he is committed to the mob which breaks both of their hearts.

The chemistry between the main characters was sizzling, and the surprise baby twist added so much depth and heart to the story. Natasha L. I really loved this book. I thought this was well written and it flowed really well. I thought the characters were well thought out and they had great chemistry. Kate and Mickey worked really well together, but only her brother and his best friend stands in the way. I really liked all the side stories that were within Kate and Mickey's journey. It was a great book and I was hooked from the first chapter. I really enjoy this author books, they never disappoint. Recommend.

This is an age gap, steamy Mafia romance with believable characters, a good storyline, and a great ending. A wonderfully entertaining mafia romance, Katie is working towards to CPA degree when she returns home, her older brother is best friends and second in charge to Mickey, head of the Irish mob. This book was light and easy to read. I enjoyed reading how the characters reconnected after being apart even with older brother’s disproval. It’s told from dual points of view which makes it also engaging too.

I really enjoyed Mick's character he was living in a lonely hard world and needed someone to love and care for him. I could truly feel how much he cared for Kate when she was hurt. He was there for her and helped support her when her brother found out about their relationship.
