Fantastic collection of stories!
I am a particular fan of "The Milkbone Deposition" as I am a mail carrier and can totally relate to it! I also really enjoyed "Worry, Incorporated" which reminded me of Philip K. Dick, whom I really enjoy! I also very much which that was a real service!
A great second collection!

I highly recommend this book to lovers of thoughtful, eloquent short stories and flash fiction. In her previous book the characters of each story are threaded together by this deep sense of melancholy, a longing for connection. Here though, the stories are expertly woven together with a focus on care. How do we care for each other? How do we care for ourselves?

The stories are bite-sized for easy consumption in one sitting, but the characters are complex, whole individuals who I really feel like I got to know. And the emotional complexity of this work will stick with you long after you finish the book.

A fantastic collection of short stories and flash fiction that feel truly imbued with life. Some depressing, some uplifting, all of the works in this collection are wonderful and immerse you in their inner world, even in just a few pages. Form and genre are played with too, in a way that helps build a beautifully kaleidoscope collection.
