My children love these little books. They thoroughly enjoy each and every story, as if they are all unique and individual without any cause for similarity among them. Even though sometimes, they might seem tedious and repetitive to me as a parent, I do enjoy being able to read short-stories to my children that are clean and respective.

My 5 year old son loves knock-knock jokes. Exactly 2 of the ones in this book were okay, and none were good. Nearly all of them were based on puns that didn't sound very close to the words they were punning on.

Knock Knock books are not great literature nor are they intended to be. The jokes aim at the 5 to 8 set and most will find something to laugh at and share with friends. My granddaughter laughed at some and sighed at others. This book can be a conversation opener when meeting shy little ones.
