First he saved my life. Then he claimed my soul. They say he has the heart of the Devil and the body of a god. Kir Nikolayev, the brutal, dark king of New York’s underworld, is infinitely dangerous. Impossibly beautiful. Twenty years older than me. I’m the girl with nothing but a gift for ballet and the secrets I keep. Like that I’m living out of my car. That I take my clothes off for money. That I’m chased by the ghosts of my past, and they’re quickly closing in. But after a night of blood and violence, I wake up to silk sheets, dark devil eyes, and a voice like sin and smoke telling me I’m his now. His to protect. His to unravel. His to own. They say when you dance with the devil, he’ll lead you into flames. But no one ever warns you… How good it feels to burn.
Dance of Devils is a standalone dark mafia romance with a smart, strong heroine and an ultra possessive hero with "look at her and I'll unalive you" energy. Readers are STRONGLY advised to read the TW inside. No cliffhanger; HEA included.
A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.
Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.
When not writing or reading romance books, he can be found woodworking, enjoying good whiskey, and grilling outside—rain or shine.
🩰 Dance of Devils by Jagger Cole 🎭 The Darkest Dance #4 ⭐️ Rating: 4 stars 🌶️ Spice: 4/5
𝐊𝐈𝐑. 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆. 𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐕. That’s it. That’s the review— Okay no wait, I’ve got thoughts. And they’re all screaming Kir supremacy forever. 🖤
𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐥𝐲𝐧 + 𝐊𝐢𝐫 = dark romance royalty. A broken ballerina trying to survive, and a Bratva king who’ll burn the world to keep her safe? SIGN. ME. UP. The age gap, the forced proximity, the emotional push and pull—this was Cinderella with a gun to its head, and I devoured every second of it.
Brooklyn’s had it rough, like sleeping-in-her-car-and-stripping-to-pay-legal-fees kind of rough. But she never felt like a pity party. She’s all grit and grace. Meanwhile Kir??? That man is 20+ years older, mysterious, lethal—and soft only for her. The way he steps in to protect her? Melted my heart 😭
The chemistry? Tension so thick you could slice it with a dagger. The moment they finally give in?? I ascended. It's spicy but not nonstop—it builds and burns, which makes it even more satisfying.
I loved how Kir finally got his moment after being a shadow in so many of the previous books. We get to see his dad side, his dark side, and his devoted lover side—and I ate it UP. Plus Brooklyn?? She’s not just a love interest—she’s a whole layered, complex character. Their dynamic was just so satisfying to watch unfold.
Final thoughts? It’s dark. It’s sexy. It’s soft in the places it counts. Kir is the devil, and I would like to dance. 🩰🔥
━━━━━━━━━━━⊱♡⊰━━━━━━━━━━
So after the trainwreck the last book turned into, I’m very much proceeding with caution. I didn’t plan to grab this one but it’s Kir, and he’s always felt more obsessive protector than unhinged psycho, so here we are.
A broken ballerina hiding in the dark, a Bratva king with “I’ll ruin the world for her” energy — plus no weird CNC this time (please). If Kir stays soft(ish) and the story stays more Cinderella than trauma carnival, I might actually let this book fix my trust issues. Dark, twisted, maybe a little sweet. I’m ready to burn. 🖤🩰
Dance of Devils (Darkest Dance, #4) by Jagger Cole
4 out of 5 stars
Dance of Devils is another classic Jagger Cole novel. He absolutely delivers what he promises and I thoroughly enjoyed this dark romance.
In this book we follow Brookelyn and Kir! I was desperately waiting for Kir's book and it didn't disappoint.
Brookelyn is a talented ballet dancer but she is homeless and lives inside of her car. Her stepfather is innocently imprisoned and she is paying for all of his legal fees. They are fighting to get the evidence to prove his innocence. And because the ballet company doesn't pay their dancers she is also a stripper at a lousy and dangerous stripclub.
One night she gets attacked and brutally chased by a group of men and Kir steps in and saves her. Kir is 21 years older than she is, but they instantly connect and are physically drawn to each other. But Kir keeps his distance from her. Thinking he is not the right man for her.
This book is a bit of a slow burn at first. But once it ignites, it IGNITES! They are so incredibly hot together. I love their fire and their passion. And Brookelyn's bratty side is exactly what Kir needs in his life.
I loved how protective Kir is. And how hard he fights for the woman he loves. Because several people are after her. And I admired both their strengths.
SPOILER ALERT IN THE NEXT PARAGRAPH! The only thing that really annoyed me and took something of the story and their relationship is a secret that Kir keeps. He figures out someone close is using her and instead of telling her, he is dealing with the situation on his own. Plus in that interaction that person was forced to do something and that event doesn't happen in the rest of the book. I was waiting for her reaction and it was non-existent. So that was a huge missed opportunity in my eyes. Plus I hated that their relationship wasn't as open as it should have been. And the reason he states for not telling her was just incredibly silly in my opinion.
But overall it's another gem and I am super glad I read it.
What did she do to deserve that?!?? All this girl wanted to do is to live a normal life and be a ballerina but no! Mister Jagger Cole wanted her to suffer! Brooklyn doesn’t deserve what she went through. She deserves better and honestly she should’ve taken that opportunity!
「 ✦ 𝐊𝐈𝐑 𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐕 ✦ 」 ╰┈➤ (𝘧𝘤: 𝘋𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥 𝘎𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘺)
Honestly the only reason I was excited for this character and his book is bc Cole imagined him as David Gandy… HES SEXY LEAVE ME ALONE! ANYWAYS, he’s very caring for Brooklyn and wanted her to be safe. He knows what Brooklyn was going through and helped her. He honestly wasn’t that interesting as he was in the three previous books.

I need to stop reading this series and actually wait for Dove’s book.
CAN JAGGER COLE STOP DESCRIBING YOU KNOW WHAT AS “FAT” and “GORGEOUS”?!?! Like we get it!!
Jagger Cole literally writes the same spicy scenes it’s getting boring like c’mon be more creative-
I don’t see the chemistry between Kir and Brooklyn. When they said “I love you” I honestly don’t believe it.
I still think Kir goes well with Dove or Evelina BUT THAT JUST ME!
The only people that were interesting in this book were Dove, Freya, and Maya.
I wish we got a book about Maya.
Can you tell I’m in love with Dove and eager to read her book!

Overall 2/5 stars ★
I’m sorry this book sucked. I didn’t see the chemistry between Brooklyn and Kir.
Brooklyn needs to get more opportunities since they claim she the best dancer.
If I were Brooklyn I would’ve left NY for a better life BUT THAT’S JUST ME!
I just know this will get me into a deeper reading slump.
Oh my I’ve been waiting for Kir book and it did not disappoint it was like a fever dream I absolutely love them real bad
Are we really surprised that jagger has done it once again, Brooklyn and Kir relationship was just everything and more
Brooklyn backstory omggg I didn’t not expect this from the last books I just thought she was seeing someone because of the bruises my poor babyyyy, she’s so strong but she never gives up
Kir has been in a couple of books and in his daughter book who’s been working for him for years but didn’t know that she was his daughter, we get to see a little more of their dynamic in this book and that one scene was my favorite loll
This book was just chef kiss, the tension, chemistry between them was just 🤌🏽 Kir is so possessive and protective towards her especially when he faces all her demons for her
They may a big age gap but they just understand and saw each other in a deeper meaning they are just so perfect for each other
This series just keeps getting better and better and I just can’t get enough of it and jagger first MM is next book and I’m soooo excited I’ve been praying to these two to get together since book 1 it’s Roman and Valdosta if you didn’t already know and I can’t wait for October when we finally have them and we do get a little more of Roman this book
Thank you Jagger for giving me this arc it was amazing <3
UPDATE- ITS BROOKLYN BABYYYYY AND THAT BLURB!? OH MY
DADDYYYYYYYY’S HOMEEEEEEEEEEEE after being in three series daddy kir is finally getting a book!! I hope the fmc is Brooklyn 😜
Honestly the dynamic b/t the MMC and FMC was kind of unsettling… the age gap trope doesn’t usually bother me but for some reason this just felt weird… plus the storyline was kinda boring
DNF @68% Couple Reasons: * Age Gap is 20yrs, it’s giving me the ick * Overuse of Baby Girl * Overuse of Good Girl * Unrealistic spicy scene going straight into BDSM even though FMC has been abused and traumatized by men in her past and just recently before relationship with MMC * FMC is a doormat
This was not for me, but if the above don’t bother you then give this a whirl. Not here to yuck anyone’s yum.
My most anticipated Jagger book and it didn’t disappoint 👏👏
KIR IS DADDY. There. That’s the review.
🤣🤣 just kidding but seriously, that man gets all the fucking stars. You see him in a totally different light in this book. The heart he has below that mysterious and dark exterior will have anyone swooning. Brooklyn was dealt an absolute shit hand in life. And when Kir realizes she’s in trouble he becomes her sanctuary emotionally, mentally, physically. It was perfection. He shows her a gentle side no one else sees from him, and gives her back control that she’s had taken from other people all of her life.
The tension in this book was THICK. I was eating it up! And when they give into each other you guys… I was a puddle. The things that this man said?? “You’re not ready for how I fuck.” SIR. He’s filthy as hell and I am obsessed.
I am so excited for Roman & Val next. The teasing for what’s to come in their book has me so freaking pumped to read it.
As always, a huge thank you to Jagger Cole & VPR for this ARC🤍
"You've known too many devils, but now you'll just know me." "I'm your Devil now, Little Sinner. I'm your ONLY Devil, and you're my only SIN." *Kir Nikolyev*
😊😚🙈😍🫶🫶 "me fanning myself and giggling while twirling my hair" 😜🤤😏
If you dance with the devil, you’d better know the steps… 💀
Dance of Devils is dark, emotional, and absolutely sizzling. Jagger Cole delivers a love story that digs its claws in and refuses to let go.
Kir Nicolayev is everything I love in a morally gray anti-hero—cold, calculating, dangerously powerful… and ridiculously sexy. As a Bratva boss, he’s used to control and intimidation, but nothing throws him off more than her.
Brooklyn is strong, driven, and a total force. A fierce dancer chasing her dream of joining Russia’s premiere ballet company, she doesn’t expect to fall into the path of a man like Kir—let alone burn for him.
What starts with punishment and power plays soon morphs into something deeper… raw, intense, and wildly emotional. Their chemistry is magnetic, their banter electric, and their fights? A delicious form of foreplay.
I loved watching Kir fall—hard—for a woman who challenges him in ways no one ever has. And I adored how he showed Brooklyn there’s more to life than the stage—that she is more than just her ambition.
Their story is messy, passionate, and addictively steamy. (Seriously… those scenes? 🔥🔥🔥)
While this isn’t the darkest or grittiest Jagger Cole book I’ve read, it still hit all the right spots for me, especially since age gaps are not a fave teope for me. I couldn’t put it down, and now I need to read more in this series.
Thanks to #Jaggercole and #valentineprlm for the ebook!
I’ve been patiently waiting for Kir’s story and this was very fitting! I did not anticipate his FMC but she made perfect sense as he has a love of caring for people who are often seen as an underdog even when incredibly talented. I also figured he would end up with a dancer of sorts because of his love for ballet.
We get to see more of who Kir is and it was really cool to see all the different facets that make him who he is and because of these hidden talents, his dominant personality, and the things he has overcome he just got even hotter! I mean he is absolutely DADDY KIR and he proves that time and again throughout this book as he protects his girl and also makes her glow.
Our FMC made my heart break for her and also I just wanted her to release her pride and have her ask for some dang help. The girl deserves a break! I mean she does end up winning in the end since she captured Kir’s attention but still our girl is going to need some major therapy and lots of hugs and reminders that she is worthy.
Per usual this book was spicy, full of tension, and completely nailed the character personality traits. It was also a different vibe than the others in this series and I kind of like the little shift half way through the series. Grateful to have had the opportunity to read this early!
THE BEST BOOK. Seriously you can't change my mind. It's one of the best work of Jagger Cole. Absolutely fucking LOVED it. I waited for Kir’s book and it totally gave me what I needed. Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. The tension was incredible and the chemistry between Kir and Brooklyn was intense. It was a slow burn, but the kind that keeps you hooked until everything finally explodes. Kir was EVERYTHING. Strong, mysterious, dangerous but SO soft when it came to her. He wasn’t only protective, he really saw Brooklyn. That man was dark, emotional, intense, and very hard to forget. I loved him SO much. Brooklyn had a tough time and my heart hurt for her. She never gave up, even when everything was falling apart. She needed someone strong beside her and Kir became that person. The way they connected, it didn’t feel forced, it felt natural and powerful. This book had more of a mafia vibe than the others in the series and I actually liked that change. Still spicy, still emotional, but with more depth in the characters. Definitely one of my favorites, and one of my top reads of this year. I already miss them. Of course 5 stars. Thank you so much to the author and Valentine PR for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.
i think we can all agree that kir has been the most anticipated character lately in the jagger-verse and jagger has DE 👏 LI👏 VERED 👏
daddy kir’s book is everything i wanted. he’s not as psycho as the rest of them but he is still my favorite shade of morally grey. maybe that’s because he’s ancient and just no longer has time for bullshit (so real of him but he might murder me for calling him old). it’s really nice to see him in a different light.
pairing kir with brooklyn just made so much sense. they are perfect and i have no notes. BUT jagger really put brooklyn through the trenches with shitty men and that broke my heart. she’s too sweet for this world and men in general suck.
I usually enjoy his books because of the good writing and a story line that draws you in. I had a hard time staying engaged with this book. I hated the fact that the MF was a stripper couldn't she have just been a server. Some situations were pretty ridiculous after being brutally beaten she goes to strenuous exhausting ballet practice, really. It's too much of a stretch that she is handing over $10,000 to her stepdad lawyers while she's living in a car and giving b******* to her boss. You can only suspend reality so much and still enjoy the book. She does pay-per-view photo shoots. The MC doesn't have to be innocent but this MC was doing some trashy stuff. She almost gets raped in other every other chapter. She's constantly accused of being a s*** and a w**** yet she never defends herself and sets the record straight. I did like the MC but I had to skim through most of the book to get to the end. I was disappointed because Jagger Cole is a good writer but this book was not enjoyable to me. The cover photo looks like he tasted something rotten LOL
Read if you like: ballerina fmc, mafia, possessive, age gap (21 years), he legit kills for her
Review: Jagger Cole is usually a miss author for me. First of all I don’t like to read romance written by men but since everyone was anticipating this book on goodreads, I decided to give it a try and I actually read it quite fast because it was so easy to read and the pace of the book was good.
This was nothing new and is like basic mafia, ballerina fmc romance I’ve read but still I ate it up because I found the pacing honestly very well done. I have to say I was annoyed with the fmc sometimes, I think ending was a bit bland and I was sad that the fmc gave up her wish of moving to Moscow for him
The previous books I've read by the author were a really nice surprise to me, captivating me, even though it's not exactly a genre I read a lot. So, I wanted to continue this series and I was fortunate enough to be accepted by Valentine Pr and the author for this e-ARC. Thank you so much for it!
Brooklyn was a young girl who was passionate about ballet and also very talented, dreaming about dancing on the biggest ballet stages. Her life was filled with so many bad stuff, being forced to take care of herself from a really young age. That made her stronger but the world she was revolving in was pretty dangerous and many people took their chance at hurting her. But that was until an angel in disguise rescued her and maybe she had now a chance at getting her life back on track.
Kir Nikolayev wasn't the most honest man, but he would never have hurt someone innocent. That's why he instantly came in Brooklyn's rescue when she was brutally attacked, taking her under his wing from there on. He offered his house and spoiled her in the best way possible, in spite of their forbidden relationship. Brooklyn might have lived in a precarious world but she would have never imagined how dark Kir was and what secrets he was hiding. But can Kir and Brooklyn get past those secrets and fight for their secret love?
Even though Kir was a really possessive and pretty obsessed man, he was somehow really good for Brooklyn, who needed someone in her life who would support her and be in her corner. She had such a hard life and I hated all the things she had to go through in the past and present and how fragile she was in some instances. The connection she had with Kir was pretty unusual, but understandable, considering all her past traumas. There was a really big age gap between them but somehow they fit so nicely together.
One story which contains so many hot moments, mixed with some drama and filled with suspense. All of them were just in the perfect amount to create a captivating story. This book is recommended for mature readers, containing many descriptive steamy scenes.

❥ 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒍𝒚𝒏 𝜗𝜚˚⋆ I loved her. She is such a sweetheart although her life is literal shit.
❥ 𝑲𝒊𝒓 ⋆✮ Daddy!!! I have nothing appropriate to say about him.
✥ 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 Another ten out of ten book by Jagger Cole. He truly is the king of dark mafia romance. I loved this book so much and I inhaled this book within three hours. It was such a fun read and I giggled a lot. The plot is dark and contains a lot of triggers so please be aware! Brooklyn and Kir are perfect together. Their tension and banter was amazing and I adored them together. The way Kir is so obsessed with Brooklyn and does everything to help her and make her feel good was heartwarming to read. Together they‘re so cute and I love the fact that Kir shows Brooklyn his soft and caring side. They were adorable together and I‘m happy for both of them that they got their deserved happy end. This is by far my favorite in this series so far. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I was glued to my kindle the whole morning. The story is thrilling with a lot of twists and turns. I couldn‘t put this book down and I can‘t wait for the next book!!

𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 ᡣ𐭩ྀི₊ ⊹ possessive and protective mmc, secrets and lies, slow burn, he falls first and harder, stalker, touch her and die, obsessed and unhinged dark golden retriever, rich x poor, bratva boss x ballerina, age gap

Ballerina Brooklyn Ellis is doing what she can to survive including dancing at a strip club and living out of her car when Bratva boss Kir Nikolayev, owner of her ballet company, comes to her rescue. He may be twenty years her senior, but will that hold them back?
Each book in this series is better than the last. I love this one - the story of Brooklyn and Kir is amazing, not to mention hot. Even though this is a Cinderella story with Kir pulling Brooklyn out of poverty and giving her a new life, Brooklyn is strong and determined. She’s not going to allow Kir to run her life. Kir is possessive, protective, and alpha, but sensitive to Brooklyn’s needs as a ballerina. He’s got her best interests at heart and intimately understands the poverty she’s endured. Together, Brooklyn and Kir are dynamic.
I highly recommend Dance of Devils. Read it and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!
I'm done with this series that I have started and stopped. It is repetitious in nature depending what book you are reading and is too long. The age gap in these books are getting laughable. The whole "Daddy, Sir, baby girl, good girl & BDSM" with a young woman who is already sexually traumatized and could be your daughter grew old very fast. This author has become a miss more than a hit for me due to the repetitious content of his books. They all have the same theme in some form or fashion and the story's can veer off from what you are made to believe is what the story is about and what the story ends up being about.
It's obvious that Brooklyn was leading two lives, one as a ballerina and one as a dancer in a sex club who lied consistently throughout the book. Her character was the perfect submissive because she was trainable and easily swayed into a dark sexual world because she could then let someone else control her. She seemed tired and worn out for such a young character, that really wanted someone to saver her. For someone that believed that she needed to be a class above other dancers in order to reach her goal in the elite world of prima ballerina's, she had a dirty mouth. It really made her character sound cheap.
Kir's character in this story, wasn't as memorable as I would have liked. It was just "meh", but nothing that made me excited to open this book. I pushed through and skimmed way too much. I've been reading this genre for along time and look for originality and content, not read and repeat.
I’ll be honest—Jagger Cole’s books often follow the same formula. But I don’t even care. They always pull me in, and Dance of Devils did exactly that. We’ve been waiting forever for Kir’s book, and it finally delivered. This world is so well connected, and I love how we keep getting those little cameos from other series. And let’s not forget what’s coming—Val’s book. Jagger’s first MM romance. That one is going to wreck me, I just know it.
Kir and Brookelyn are exactly the kind of pairing that works in this universe. He’s older, colder, and powerful. She’s young, broke, and doing everything she can to survive—including stripping and living in her car—while trying to free her wrongly imprisoned stepfather. She’s proud and doesn’t want anyone’s pity, which makes her feel real and strong, even in the worst situations.
Kir sees that strength in her from the beginning. He steps in when she’s in danger, but he never takes over her life. Their dynamic is slow burn, but when it finally explodes, it’s hot, intense, and impossible to look away from. Her bratty defiance and his dominant energy are a perfect storm.
We also get to see a whole different side of Kir here. There’s so much more beneath that quiet, intimidating exterior. He becomes her anchor and protector in every way—emotionally, physically, mentally. And honestly, with that soft side, that filthy mouth, and the way he completely melts for her, Kir is absolutely daddy material in every sense of the word.
If I had to mention one thing that felt off—it’s the lack of emotional conversations. There’s a lot of tension and chemistry, yes, but they don’t really talk about what they feel. I missed the vulnerability that could’ve made their bond even deeper.
Still, this book had everything I look for: heat, angst, a strong heroine, and a hero who’s rough on the outside but loyal and soft underneath. It wasn’t perfect, but it had me hooked from start to finish. Another solid one from Jagger Cole—and now bring on Val.

THIS BOOK! This is what I have been craaaaaving from Jagger Cole since the end of the Dark Hearts series. I knew Kir would not disappoint after all the hints we'd had about him from this series and the Momento Mori series but DAMN. Blew my expectations out of the water.
Brooklyn, my sweet angel baby. I loved her. She was SO DAMN RESILIENT. I wanted to reach through those pages and just hold her. She has been through so much in her life, and she just never gave up. She worked so hard, despite the absolute shit hand she had been dealt. The way Kir swoops in though... DAMN. In the words of Val, he is the definition of BDE. He becomes Brooklyn's sanctuary; physically, emotionally and mentally. The way that he took care of her .. THIS is what I have been wanting from JC for books. I loved Kir and Brooklyn together; he showed her this lovely, gentle side that no one else sees and gave her the space and back the control that she had been stripped of her whole life. The care taking, the gifts, the LOVE, honestly gave me a few tears. Not gonna lie.
I have come to realise that I love this version of Jagger's spice. The Dom/sub stuff; the control and the copious amounts of praise. I ate it uppppp. The shit that came out of this man's mouth... f*ck me sideways. Actually obsessed.
Overall, one of my favourite Jagger Cole books. I loved this energy; the age gap was done beautifully. The found family of the ballet studio is wonderful. I'm looking forward to Roman and Val's book next.
Jagger has been edging his readers for several books now when it comes to Kir and honestly he keeps you there right on the precipice for like the first half of the book 😅
You definitely get the vibe shift from the secret society to more mafia billionairesque but we knew that was happening with this one since Kir isn’t part of the Black Court.
Brooklyn, holy shit, girl could not catch a break. There were some pretty dark and uncomfortable situations that she found herself in but Kir was often stepping in as her savior.
Kir may be a “devil” but he’s the fallen angel that will slay every single one of her demons.
Kirs vibe was giving all around, classic. Including his coital tastes. Which I feel like is maybe an odd thing to say but the spice felt super “traditional” bdsm. Idk if that that actually makes any sense or not so take it with a grain of salt, that’s just what it felt like to me. It was a change of pace from the more deviant desires we’ve been getting from his last few books.
I also want to clarify that while this is an age gap, there is no daddy kink. Every time I’ve talked ab Kir I’ve called him a Russian gangster daddy and while he may be an actual literal father, there is no daddy kink. It’s just the vibe he gives off, maybe call him zaddy instead, that’s more fitting I suppose.
Also, I learned a new word! Ostensibly! Which means like supposedly or apparently. So let’s just say my husband will ostensibly be hearing a lot more of that. Bc it sounds cooler.
Anyway, another fantastic book from Jagger. No surprise there.
i hope my friends and followers understand that my recent reading choices don't reflect my usual literary taste but are instead used as a form of self harm 😔
Alexa play “Hey Daddy” by Usher 😮💨😮💨 I’ve been waiting for Kir’s book for what feels like 70 years and Jagger DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. Kir was everything I imagined and deliciously more. Brooklyn was such a delight, I loved her strong and fierce character and how she finally came into herself as the bad bitch she is. Kir’s ott possessiveness was so hot and Brooklyn’s bratty nature had me laughing.
. . . .
Thank you to Valentine PR for the arc opportunity!
As everyone, I was waiting for Kir’s book like a kid on Xmas day. For some reason, I thought it would be sweet and innocent Evie but it was actually Brooklyn, which was a better option,as Kir would have probably eaten Evie alive.
Kir was a rather decent MMC (and not a manwh0re tyvm)but of course I was expecting more, I can’t explain what precisely but we have been following him over several books and he always appeared as the big bad wolf 🐺 So yes, I wanted more (and no, spanking didn’t make him a dark character IMO)
I loved the beginning, the fact that the whole ballet part of the series was dig deeper. When Kir & Brooklyn danced together it was so good, sensual 🫠.
Overall I enjoyed the book and absolutely loved Brooklyn. However the below parts were hard for me to digest (so don’t read to avoid spoilers)
-Kir didn’t particularly notice Brooklyn when she was a dancer at his company, only once she got attacked he noticed her (hero complex)
-Kir said he liked to f**ck in a certain way and didn’t change for her, once again the girl has to adapt to his needs (but of course, Brooklyn found out she enjoyed being hogtied)
-Their first time was very BDSM mode and in the entire book we didn’t get a scene where they just make love, it was always heavy on the spanking and bondage.
-There are two instances of punishment bullshIt. Kir was pushing Brooklyn, rubbing in her face that she was a stripper and when she fought back and told him to fu*ck off… he spanked her for being a brat 😒😒 In my book, it’s called being a aSshole not a dominant… Pushing people so you can punish them it’s not what I really enjoy! -At the fund raising thing, he even spanked her for her an assumption she made earlier Quote: when I crack my palm across her ass, it’s like I’m punishing the world for all the shit it’s handed her… Well Kir, it felt more like you’re punishing her for having a shitty life!!! Not sure getting spanked was the best way to deal with her trauma. Loved quote: I am your devil now, little sinner. I’m your only devil, and you’re my only sin

OK SIR!! The moment this book hit my kindle and i could sit down and read it I went on DND until I was done. This was one of my highly anticipated Jagger books and i absolutely devoured. Dance of the Devils is book 4 in the Darkest Dance series and we finally get Kir’s story.
KIR NIKOLAYEV… we’ve only been getting a few looks at him for the past couple years in these books. And let me tell you… he’s EVERYTHING i thought he would be. Now I will say we get a totally different Kir, he just wasn't as brutal as I was expecting him. I had seen him different until I read his backstory. Yes, he’s still a possessive, dark and unpredictable man, but underneath that exterior he’s got a beating heart and a heart growing for Brooklyn.
BROOKLYN, she’s really getting put through the ringer from multiple angles with no end in site.. Brooklyn is basically saved when Kir steps up and saves her. He takes on everything so she doesn’t have to bear it and offers the protection she needs in this world. Someone to be on her side. Brooklyn goes from going through the motions to living again
I absolutely loved the love between Brooklyn and Kir, there was so much spice and tension, you could cut it with a knife. Their chemistry was off the charts and the things this man said was just so hawwwt. They were just perfect for each other
Roman and Val are next which I can't wait for. I’ve loved Val since he was introduced to us so I’m excited to finally get his story.
