The only problem with this book was it was only an hour and a half long. I did enjoy it. Jared is all grown up. Chess is still getting in trouble. This book centered mainly around Chess and the problems that he is having in his life. There is a cliffhanger, which makes you want to read book 3 as soon as possible.

is book 2. In the run off series that originally started with the Bonnet Sisters.
A season of secrets starts with Iris, she is Florences daughter we met in previous books.
Iris wants to know more about her Amish inheritance. Chess her younger brother seems to find himself in awkward situations, often needs rescuing.
It has been a delight catching up with some of the characters of old and meeting new characters.

I love these books by Samantha Price.
It's like they have become family members.

Please if you have not read the Bonnet Sisters series 24 books you may want to start with them.

This series has only the two books in it.
Can I suggest starting with book1 may help to understand the characters you will meet in book 2 and

This is the next book in the spin off from The Bonnet Sisters Series, and WOW!

This story continues from the previous one where Chess destroyed Wilma's 'store' building.
Let me tell you that this story is so riveting, exciting, funny in parts, and a HUGE page turner, for sure!!

Cherish has gotten a child, just like herself, with her daughter Tabitha. 😂 This part had me giggling over how much it reminds us of Cherish in the previous series!

It's coming up on harvest seaon and so much chaos is happening, and things seem like they will never stop.
THEN, we are left with a BIG cliffhanger for the next book!! I can't wait for it to come out🙂

A Season of Secrets: Amish Family Saga with romance (Amish Bonnet Sisters: Legacy of Faith Book 2) Will be making his debut May 14, 2025. This is the second book in the new series starring the members of the bonnet, sisters families.

There is so much going on in this book that you never find yourself Bored. Miss Price does her usual excellent job of telling the story. There is romance, matchmaking, Reckless choices, and more family drama.

There are returning characters that we already know and love, and new ones That we are just meeting and getting to know.

I love the way the storyline moves and really holds Your attention. Never a dull moment!

These characters are realistic and become part of your circle of character friends.

I highly recommend this addition to the series. 5-stars all the way. You will not be disappointed.

I am a stroke survivor and I am having some vision problems so I am relying on audiobooks right now. I was pleasantly surprised to find the author was the narrator of this book. I felt the narration was rushed and at spots lacking emotion. Which surprised me, as the author, she should know the emotions of the characters.

As for the story itself....there was more
plot lines with absolutely no answers. I still feel that this book was a "trailer" or promo for the rest of the books in the series. I am not sure if this was a larger book that was separated into smaller books. I am told there are 6 (with the 6th one being released in Jan 2026).

On to Book 3 "A Harvest of Hearts" has some answers. If not I am not sure I will finish the series.

Reading an Amish Bonnet Sisters Series is like being at home. I love all the characters. I always look forward to an update of this wonderful family.

There always seems to be drama with Matthew. His lovelife is like riding a roller coaster. Will he ever find true love and happiness?

Wilma and Ada continue on with their close friendship. Do you have a friendship that has lasted for years? My longest friendship has lasted 40 years so far.

A delightful story that is a pleasure to read. The characters always come to life for me. I open the book and it's like a family reunion.

This book title says it all!

Wilma and Ada are always playing matchmaker. They have and continue to cause difficult problems for some of the couples. This book keeps you engaged from beginning to end.
Samantha Price has a unique way of ending a book in a series that leaves us anxiously awaiting the next book. Great to have the Bonnet Sisters stories continue.

Lots of action

I like following the next generation and I think what the writer is trying to communicate is that we are to do our best as parents but we aren’t responsible for the misdeeds of adult children. I could be writing no but that’s what I got out of it.
