The Assignment
Mara Fitzgerald knew her curiosity and quest for knowledge would get her into trouble one day. She just had no idea that when she dug up a strange skull on one of her training digs just how bad that level of trouble would be. It arrived in the shape of a dark-haired angel, his face so beautiful, his captivating green gaze boring deep into her soul. All vampires were monsters, and there were few as monstrous as him. He would carry out his mission regardless of how beautiful Mara Fitzgerald was. There would be none of this falling in love with a human nonsense that his friend had succumbed to. If she posed a threat to the Vampire race, he would stop her heart in an instant, because that’s what monsters did. Wasn’t it?

Long Awaited Perfection
This was such a joy to read after waiting so long after FTI.
Demetri is one of my favorite characters in this series.
One thing I will say is I love what happened to Silas.
I was so drawn into the story that I couldn't put it down.
