Hehehe. This one is so cute. It’s like a mix of Lovely * Complex, Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You, Vol. 1, and 恋だの愛だの 1 Koi Dano Ai Dano 1 .
I expected this one to be a really cliche manga but bum, it suprised me so much!! It's so frigging hilarious. The author is doing such a great job on milking humor out of the male protagonist's height. Cant decide whether he is too short or just she is too damn tall!! ^^ I demand more chibi moments hehehehe.

As a connoisseur of the many different forms of 'dere.... this one is as funny as hell... XD I'm still confused about what the heck just happened, but it was totally worth it...
Also, no homework was accomplished... >.< It's due tomorrow and I really wish I would stop doing this to myself... it's not fun!! >.<

Actually thought this was quite nice. The concept is similar to Hiyokoi 1 by Moe Yukimaru, except that the characters are not grossly lovey-dovey and annoying all the time and that it doesn't use social anxiety as a "quirky quality for the female protagonist". The plot was a bit all over the place and definitely could've benefited from some more structure. Overall, it was an enjoyable and quick read though.

Dieser Manga konnte mich leider nicht so begeistern, trotz das er witzig und humorvoll war. Koharu ist ein großgewachsenes Mädchen und dazu noch total schüchtern., ihre Freundinnen sind dabei normal. Sie glaubt auch, das sie mit ihrer größe niemals einen Freund finden wird. Kiyoshiro ist ein beliebter Schüler und ein Mädchenschwarm, obwohl er sich wie ein Nerd benimmt. Jedem Mädchen gibt er ein Korb, doch mit Koharu freundet er sich langsam an, obwohl er noch abgeneigt reagiert.
Die Charakter waren schon etwas merkwürdig. Koharu ist mit ihrer größe beängstigend gegenüber andere, doch benimmt sie sich normal. Mich hat an ihr einfach nur gestört, das man nur selten ihre Augen zu sehen bekam. Sie hat einen so langen Pony und eine haltung, das ihre Augen einfach verdeckt und sie einfach so unscheinbar macht. Kiyoshiro war undurchdringlich. Er war geheimnisvoll und dennoch hilfsbereit, auch wen er an seine Grenzen stößt. Offensichtlich zeigt er kein Interesse an Mädchen und ist sogar Anfangs gegenüber Koharu genervt. Es war eine merkwürdige Charakter konstellation, mit der ich mich erstmal anfreunden musste.
Der Zeichenstil ist dabei detailreich und trotzdem gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Story kennt man so schon und ist nichts neues. Den Manga habe ich mir gekauft, weil so viele davon schwärmen und er natürlich auch ein Schnäppchen war.
Mich konnte der Manga allerdings nicht so begeistern wie viele anderen. Der Humor war mir einfach wieder zu drüber. Auch wie er in den Zeichnungen umgesetzt wird. Es geht hier um eine überdurchschnittlich großes Mädchen mit einigen Komplexen und einen kleineren Jungen mit viel Selbstvertrauen, aber einer etwas Nerdigen Aura. An sich ein interessantes Thema bzw. eine interessante Kombination. Leider wurde das Mädchen in meinem Augen eher wie ein Dorftrampel (sorry für den Ausdruck) herübergebracht. Ihr Gesicht wird ständig hinter ihrem Pony versteckt, ihre Freundinnen verhalten sich teilweise überhaupt nicht wie Freundinnen und dann doch wieder und am wenigsten gefiel mir aber Koharus Sicht auf Mineta. Der wird dann oft wie ein kleines Kind dargestellt, was mir nicht gefiel. Eigentlich fand ich seinen Charakter nämlich sehr interessant. Ich mag ja solche etwas sozial eingeschränkten, intelligenten und versteckt fürsorglichen Charaktere.
Alles in allem kam der Humor einfach nicht bei mir an und das macht den Manga nun einmal aus. Der zeichenstil gefiel mir bis auf das Pony-Thema sehr gut. Ganz möchte ich die Reihe eigentlich nicht abschreiben. Vielleicht würde ich irgendwann einmal Band 2 lesen, wenn ich ihn sehr günstig bekomme.

Nos muestran la historia de Koharu, una chica a la cual han molestado debido a su estatura y apariencia física. Su vida comienza a cambiar cuando se enamora de uno de los chicos más populares de su colegio, Mineta; él no ha demostrado estar interesado en las chicas, pero se muestra abierto a empezar una relación con Koharu. Gracias a su relación ambos personajes llegan a explorar su persona un poco más, Mineta comenzará a abrir sus sentimientos y Koharu a no dejarse sobrepasar tan facil.
Opinión personal:
Me gusto, pero no me encanto. Siento que Mineta se aprovechó bastante de que Koharu fuera bastante sumisa y torpe, mientras que él se dejaba llevar por su inteligencia. En muchas situaciones la dejaba por su cuenta o enredada en su sentimiento.
Muchas escenas de celos o con un tercero nos mostraron a Koharu hecha un manojo de nervios, pero Mineta siempre les resto importancia porque estaba bastante confiado. Las amistades que rodeaban a ambos personajes no considero que sean las mejores, se ve mucho chantaje emocional y como se aprovechaban de estos.
Por otro lado la comedia y el dibujo es algo que realmente me ha gustado, en especial las expresiones de Koharu.

Estoy en mi época de leer mangas shojo, así que leí la sinopsis de este manga y me llamo mucho la atención ya que me dio vibras de lovely complex chica alta y chico bajo pero meh!! No le entiendo muy bien al trama en un tomo pasaron muchas cosas y no termina de agradarme a esperar como sigue la historia y si logra engancharme con los demás tomos

I didn't like the story that much the first 2 chapters. The artwork, on the other hand, is beautiful, it reminded me a little bit of "Kuragehime" since the MC hides behind her bangs, similar to Mayaya. I didn't like it because 1) I saw no chemistry between the leads; 2) the bullying was meh, I didn't feel sorry for the girl and I thought the reason of the bullying was ridiculous (her height, meaning she "is a monster"... meh); 3) the boy was MEH, being a tsundere wasn't appealing, he wasn't a little bit charming, etc; 4) the girl's first bf (if we can call it bf, since they didn't even hang out) was ridiculous how it began and ended, was that supposed to be her first big heartbreak?; and 5) I admit it, I was expecting something like Lovely Complex (difference in height) and I got nothing at all, not the friendship, not the bickering, not the awesome friends and rivals, etc.
But it gets better starting from chapter 3. Better and cuter. I still don't care much about the leads, but I like that they start as friends and don't develop romantic feelings out of nowhere. I like that the girl (Haru, I think) likes the boy because he is cute but doesn't fall stupidly in love with him. She just likes him, she finds him cute and cares for him without being an annoying shoujo heroine. And I like that it is him (Kiyo, I guess) who likes her-likes her first. Like it is not just a crush, but an actually "like" since they get to know each other and spend a lot of time together without meaning to.

Adesso ricomincio da capo per leggerlo tutto fino alla fine. Confermo più o meno quello che ho scritto sotto. Forse la storia è un po' slegata, nel senso che salta da un episodio all'altro senza logica.

Sono alta 1,70m. Per anni, da adolescente, ho avuto una cotta colossale per un ragazzo di 1,60m. Manga del genere sono pane per i miei denti...
Mi chiedo perché ho aspettato così tanto a leggerlo. Ci avevo provato appena uscito ma era il periodo in cui ero un po' nauseata dai manga. Oggi sono finalmente riuscita a finirlo!
Lei mi piace parecchio. Non so perché ma tutte le protagoniste alte hanno una marcia in più... Sempre insicure, per carità, ma almeno sono fortissime! Alcune scene di questo volume, dove l'autrice ingigantisce la differenza tra i due, sono favolose.
Di lui ancora non mi sono fatta un'idea precisa. Vedremo.
Ho già comprato i volumi fino al tre e li leggerò nei prossimi giorni. Speriamo bene!!

This was a really good shojo manga. I think it was much like Lovely Complex, but rose above where LoveCom fell short. There is great building chemistry between the two main characters.
I really hope that I don't have to wait forever for the next volume to come out. I'm tired of waiting in-between release dates.
Anywho it's getting late and this busy mom needs to get her kids to bed.

I'm not even sure how volumes for this manga work, it is so hard to find the actual information for it.
I just stumbled across this one and decided to try it. The beginning is super confusing and it took a while for me to get into it and figure out what was happening. This isn't the first Shoujo manga I've read, but it isn't one of the best ones either. It gets better a few chapters in. A fun, silly and sweet story, but nothing to write home about so far.
I read through chapter 13.

Probably one of the best shoujo manga I've read in recent years. The story revolves around a tall and shy high school freshman girl and shorter and serious boy. What I like is that the two characters actually get to know each other and their relationship is quite healthy and adorable. (I don't understand why shoujo has such a thing for non-consensual and manipulative behavior it's not romantic, it's creepy)

A light hearted story with a female character that continues to grow through the chapters.
It was nice to see the change in her personality, going from being an insecure person to a strong-willed and confident one.
I also enjoyed the interactions between Koharu and Mineta.

I found this manga SO so cute!
I love the main protagonists, they are hilarious.It is like your typical shoujo manga but it's funny.
A tall girl being called a giant and a short guy being all nerdy and unattached is what is in store for you.The art is also beautiful. Recommended.
