A quick and easy read on a delicate subject, the author is direct, kind and practical, giving good advice on how to de-clutter, thinking about life after you are not here. Maybe a book for those in the autumn/winter of life, however, this book gave me food for thought on what I accrue and that you can’t take it with you. Having recently sorted my mum’s belongings, this book helped me work through the process to ensure I clean up before I leave (hopefully in many years time!). The author sounds like she’s lived an amazing life in the stories wrapped up in this book and that was as enjoyable to read as the advice given.
I thinks the proof of the pudding and the value of it lie in what you do after you read it, we have embraced it and it’s practical advice and are enjoying the ride. Actually it is not for us it is for those left behind as they will not have to deal with and be overwhelmed by huge mountains of clutter. A book to come back to and keep going :) thanks Margareta
