Dominion Hall #4

The Sniper: A Dark Billionaire Military Romance

I was raised to color inside the lines. To smile sweet, say “yes, ma’am,” and never ask questions I didn’t want answered.

But then I met Noah Dane.

And now, all I do is question everything.

He’s not like the men I was taught to trust.

He’s not gentle.

He’s not safe.

Noah is sharp edges and steady aim.

A former special ops sniper with ice in his veins and ghosts behind his eyes.

The kind of man who watches from the shadows—and never misses his mark.

He shouldn't even know my name.

But he does.

And he says I’m his.

I tried to run.

Tried to pray him out of my system.

Tried to hide behind Sunday school smiles and scripture verses.

But Noah doesn’t believe in mercy.

Only possession.

He warned me once.

Told me that if he ever touched me, he wouldn’t let me go.

I didn’t believe him.

Now I know better.

Because I’ve been claimed.

And God help anyone who tries to take me from him.

This book contains a morally gray antihero, explicit sexual content, and profanity. Recommended for 18+.

Betrayal will burn.

And the men of Dominion Hall?

They’ll bury anyone who dares to touch what’s theirs.

About the author

Jack Flynn

Jack Flynn co-writes dark billionaire military romance with Lainey Ray.

Jack is a former military man with a sharp mind, a devilish smirk, and a habit of taking control—in fiction and otherwise. He likes his books like he likes his combat strategies: fast-paced, explosive, and leaving no survivors. When he’s not crafting tactical missions and deadly antiheroes, you can find him reading action thrillers, watching war movies, or engaging in other kinds of action we won’t discuss here.

Jack brings the precision, the danger, and the raw intensity to every Jack & Lainey book. He knows exactly how to build a hero who commands a room, claims a woman, and takes down anyone who dares to stand in his way.

Rumor has it, Jack never loses control … unless Lainey’s involved.

Noah

This was another great story. Noah and Hallie Mae- was a hot broody/sweet read. Noah is your typical Alpha Male- but he like the others falls fast and hard. He didn’t think he would ever get here, as the others did too, but something deeper with Noah in how he felt. So Hallie’s presence completely knocks him on his butt. He isn’t used the feelings- but even more so he has no clue how to handle the religious parts but for Hallie Mae he will. She is naive in the beginning by her upbringing but when loss comes head on it changes her- she then is bold-and starts to see life wasn’t like it was taught- but she didn’t have to lose herself but still want new things too. This book was one to grab you emotionally but also in a spiritual sense with faith.!
Great read.

Brother #4, Noah meets Hallie Mae, (the preacher's daughter who has been raised in a promise ring environment) after he eliminates a monster at the Women's Shelter where she volunteers. Noah hears about the standoff at the center and the fact that SWAT is at least 20 minutes out. Hallie Mae is being held by a man looking for his wife and child. So, he decides to put his sniper skills to work. Thus starts their story. Drawn to each other. Then Hallie Mae's father is murdered and Noah commits to finding and ending those responsible. The fact that he is framed for the murder definitely complicated their relationship. But, Hallie Mae believes him and that he had nothing to do with her father's murder. However, the ever present Department 77 is identified as the culprit
Joining forces with the CIA the brothers are determined to finish them once and for all!
Turns out to be a trap/ambush and lives are lost on both sides of the battle.
But, fear not Noah returns to Hallie Mae and their story progresses.

So, Noah and Hallie Mae were an unexpected pair. The story was engaging and enjoyable. Noah, a former military man turned billionaire black ops, enjoying a cup of coffee hears a call about a hostage situation. He jumps into the action, upon arrival he spots Hallie Mae boldly standing her ground against a man looking for his wife and child taking shelter with her. Hallie Mae comes off a little naive and coy, she is a woman with strong Christian beliefs and out of her element when Noah begins to pursue her. Here's where the story is a little u believable to me personally. Hallie Mae goes from sweet virgin to let's go to a sex shop over a very short period of time. It didn't make me like the story any less, it was just a little far fetched. I can't wait to meet the other Dane Brothers and hear their stories.

If ever there was a mismatched pair it's Noah Dane and Hallie Mae Calhoun. He's a sniper whose j9b it is to rid the world of the evil dregs of society. She's the preacher's daughter, raised on kindness, forgiveness and redemption. Do not mistake her as an easy target though. She has a spine 9f steel and fearlessly protects those in her charge. They meet under the deadliest of circumstances and their connection is immediate. She brings calm to his ruthless spirit and he brings out her wanton side. Keeping his woman safe is Noah's singular focus. Having her caught up in the battle between Dominion Hall and Department 77 is a bridge to far. The Dane brothers are declare war. Let the bloodshed begin.

The Sniper continues the Dominion Hall saga with confidence and emotional depth. The MMC’s role as a sniper adds grit and danger, but it’s the contrast with the MFC — the quintessential preacher’s daughter — that gives this book its heart. Their dynamic is pure opposites‑attract magic: his darkness meets her light, and somehow they fit together in a way neither saw coming.

The authors weave their romance seamlessly into the ongoing series arc, keeping the momentum strong while giving this couple their own space to shine. The tension, the moral contrasts, the slow shift from wary curiosity to genuine love — it all lands beautifully.

A compelling, romantic, and thematically rich addition to Dominion Hall. Fans of the series will be thrilled with where this one takes them.

Desire, Marked and Claimed 🔥

Noah Dane is a force to be reckoned with, and Hallie Mae is a sweet and innocent preacher's daughter who's seen the darker side of life through her work at a women's shelter. Their story is a thrilling ride of passion, possession, and protection. I loved watching Hallie transform from a naive schoolteacher to a wild and passionate woman, claimed by Noah's possessive love. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and their romance is a highlight of the book. The mystery surrounding Department 77 adds an extra layer of intrigue, but it's Noah and Hallie's story that truly shines. 🤓

This one

This is the one. So far I've fallen in love 4 times. But this one, Im cooked. Lol I cried, grieved. I laughed swooned and in the end smiled big. This book will make you blush, in a good way. God, Noah is great. He's less " alfa" in the "I'm taking you if you like it or not", way of his brothers. He's more quiet confidence. He knows without the need to boast. He's a protector with a massive heart. So yes. So far, he's my favorite brother.

Someone to watch over me.

Book 4 didn’t disappoint. Another passionate love story of one of the brothers: Noah, and the sweet but strong Hailee Mae. Noah doesn’t just serve as overwatch in another of the brothers’ harrowing military adventures, he learns that having someone to watch over and love is the greatest gift from God.

Top notch series

I can’t believe how good this series is. Books one and two were phenomenal. This one was even better. It hits all the high points. One woman men who protect what’s theirs. Touch her and die vibes. Super sweet romance. A plot and characters that are beyond amazing.

missing a little something

I normally get immersed in the books by these authors. Something just fell a bit flat in this one for me. There was too much focus on god and I had trouble with the character arc for Hallie Mae.
I still plan to continue the series. Hopefully the next book is back to five stars.

I think this might be tied with the first for being the worse…. I had hope. I liked Noah but I just don’t love when a book is so focused on religion and it’s all that spoken about the whole time. Hallie May had promise in being a badass at the beginning with the whole break in but that was the extent of it.

Series savior

I have to admit that book 3 in the series almost ended for me. It just was missing something. I never give up on a series. I might take a break, but in this case I kept going. What an extraordinary story book 4 truly is. Great characters great interactions, and an exciting plot, which kept me interested until the very last page.

This is another entertaining book in this series, though I didn't like this one quite as much the first 3 books in this series. There is LOTS of killing in this one. Still, the characters, the suspense, the action, and the romance are a solid 4.

Could we find out about dept 77 or no?

Book 4 started with action and didn't stop. Just when you thought you were in the clear nope challenges pop up and they dealt with it by holding on.

Solid story

This was another brick in this series. Each story has been different enough that they don’t seem like a copy of the previous book only with different names. I appreciate series like this. 🔥🔥🔥🔥/5

Rushed

Overall the plot, characters, action, and spice are excellent. Then only thing making this story slightly hard to swallow is how fast Hallie and Noah had. It felt very rushed and almost unbelievable. Otherwise I really liked this book.

a series surprise

This is the fourth book in this series. It carries the same plot but a different theme than the first three. And it’s a really interesting one to discover. The intense romantic suspense is still there as well as an intense HEA.

Another great story in a great series

Another great story, strong characters both male and female. A bit of military combined with romance, fun read. You could enjoy one book by itself, but working through the series has been a fun ride.
