[Hardcover]
I am a bit undecided about this book, because I appreciate the magic realism and where the author was going with it (including some more poetic parts), but I had some issues with the portions of it. It was very disturbing, clearly a very delusional mind, but the amount of time spent on the delusional world made it unclear what reality they wanted the reader to settle in.
It was a good idea and a good story, but it didn't engage me as much as I wished it had. Maybe it could have profited on some beta readers?
