Obviously like seriously obvious, this is 5 🌟

This is it, the point where I love Mob Psycho 100 with all of my heart! After several volumes, this one make so much sense why it’s worth the hype and it’s just so good, SO SO GOOD!!!

All the spotlight given to the dynamic between Reigen and Shigeo. I love both of them so much, their development are written so well. Reigen who did his best to protect Shigeo and know what’s best for him, fight with everything he got against the superior mentality of people who have psychic power. There’s one line that revealed to the very core what they’re all about and Reigen delivered it perfectly, hit strike through and make immensely huge impact!

Also, I love that finally the parallel between Shinji and Ristu, both as young brother resolved. And their conclusion reflected so much of their own struggle.

Bonus point, I love how savage Shiego act towards Dimple. Dimple be like “Gosh, don’t be that harsh. I’m just an evil spirit”

I LOVE MOB PSYCHO SO MUCH, it unravel a lot of realistic circumstances regarding society and people who tried to be in higher power as they’re burdened with reality.

Oh man, it was a good volume. But so much text blah blah blah it took longer to read than a typical Manga. The aftermath and fallout with the others was interesting. Mob seems interested in helping everyone even when some of those people are just trying to us him.

4.5/5 This was an excellent volume. Things take a turn in the battle with Claw and its finally a little too much for Mob to handle. But who should come to save the day? None other than Reigen he’s such a conman that he’s conning people with out even meaning to. It’s such a bizarre funny turn and it works really well for this story.

This wraps up the first major arc of the story. It’s also where the first anime ends. I believe so anyway I never actually watched it.

We get a sweet epilogue for the arc afterwards where Mob has a short lived romance. Very nice.

This is it. This volume filled my heart with love, and so, finally, what we’ve all been waiting for: I rated this volume 5 stars.



How wack is it that these haven’t all been five stars??? Honestly it’s best not to think too much about the star rating and just go along with the ride. It really doesn’t matter anyway since this is such a great series. Star rating shmar rating.

That nonsense aside: This volume comprises of the end of season one of the anime! Huzzah!! Here’s to continuing on with this fantastic series and to another great animated season to come soon (I hope)! *Edit*: SEASON TWO HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN GREENLIT!! IT'S HAPPENING!!!!!



I don’t know what’s up with me and gifs today, they’re usually not my style. I guess I am noticing a trend of my using them during momentous occasions, and by golly does this volume sure count as one.

This volume wraps up the Mob and Friends Versus The Scars Arc (my dub, I don’t know what the actual name of the arc is), and comprises of one of my favourite confrontations in the series to date. The whole thing with Reigen teaching Mob that it’s okay to run way and then him absorbing Mob’s power just as he was about to burst was a genius way of being able to see him be OP af and it was a phenomenal read. This volume doesn’t dilly-dally in the slightest after the arc ends and gets right back into business, continuing along with the haps in Spice city.

I love how there is a cult devoted to Mob, though I’m also wary of it at the same time. I thought it was so cute that Mob had a girlfriend and that he seemed like a happier person because of it, and it was adorable that he’d walk home with her even though he had to walk back to school right away so that he could do his club activity. By the way the volume ended I think this is not the last we’ll see of her (whatever her name is; I forgot)!

I steamrolled through volumes 3-6 in two days because it’s the weekend (and I’ve been heavily procrastinating), but it’s now midnight on Monday so I predict a hefty reduction in the amount of Mob Psycho 100 in my life for the next week at least. It’s a sad day, but reading this manga this weekend has been a blast and this series has definitely not seen the last of me!

It was a really good volume overall. 7th Division Arc ends in this volume and it was a great arc in general. Reigen arrives and he is mistaken to be Claw's boss (not the division leader like the actual big boss). The division leader of course knows that he is not the boss. The fight scenes were really good but Reigen shines throughout this volume. It reminds me of Naruto's Talk no Jutsu but it was super funny. Yet, it was an important moment in Mob's life as his master saved him once again despite being powerless.

So far, this is one of the more memorable mob psycho books. I think this is where each and every character starts to express themselves and overcomes whatever obstacles they were facing before. Teruki, for example, even though one of my favorite moments with him was when he gives Ritsu the advice that Mov gave him, begins to grow into himself more. We know he had issues with his own self pride/appearance but now he is becoming a genuine person ready to use his powers for good. Ritsu, even, shows his regrets and doesn’t look down on those around him anymore. But the person who steals the show is Reigen. I remember absolutely loving the scene in the anime where Reigen gains Mob’s powers and flicks off every Claw member with ease. Even though he doesn’t hold any psychic power before this point, his advocacy for normalizing espers as regular people is still important. Mob and Teruki have been able to succeed and better themselves because of this insight. Reigen is able to completely flip the Claw group on their heads by not only defeating their every attack, but bringing them down to his level and to reality. This is the best example of a lyric in the opening song that expresses that “everyone is not special”. This is what I think differentiates Mob Psycho from other magical shonen. This volume was as hilarious as it was touching.

This book starts off where it left out last in volume 5. Mob ( Shigeo) is trying to get himself, and brother Reigen out of this big mess. I love how through out every few pages Mob powers grow and grow until he reaches full PSYCHO MODE!! I love how Reigen steps up and try to take out every Claw Member as it starts approaching them. I believe my favorite part of the book was watching Mob fall in love with Tsubomi. However, she rejected him. Which to me is a bummer, but other favorite part is Reigen snatching the mask off of Ishiguro. The whole time some believe it was a little girl behind the mask but it is now revealed that its just an old man. And at the end Sho kicked and smashed him into the ground leading to his death.
I am hoping to see in volume 7 more content on his new love interest, and I would love to see more of Reigen and his development.

Favorite volume of mob psycho so far for sure!!!

I was in a really shitty mood when I started reading this, but before I knew it I was laughing my ass off. Mob may be the most powerful superhuman, but Reigen's deadpan humor murdered me 🤣

Really good plot in this one -- resolution (at least for now) of mob & his bro's capture by superhuman world domination organization Claw, and even some light junior high shenanigans and some romance(?) for Shigeo. When he revealed his powers simply to put back together the pieces of that girl's shitty novel, my heart skipped a beat 😂 Seems like, moving forwards, Shigeo may start learning to understand and respect his own thoughts and feelings. Pretty cool!

Looking for Mob, Reigen arrives at Claw headquarters -- and things turn unexpectedly humorous. Although author One has cheated a little, and for this to work the reader has to ignore the next-to-last page of MOB 5. And then things turn just ... unexpected.

Contrary to the advertising blurb for this volume (who writes these things?), Mob does NOT "explode"; One comes up with an ingeniously entertaining way for our characters to extricate themselves from the situation. Some of Claw's secrets are revealed, and new puzzles dangled before us. When things return to normal in the last chapters of this book, it does feel a bit anticlimactic, but I'll still be awaiting MOB 7 with interest.

Thế là somehow năng lực ẩn của Shigeo chuyển sang sư phụ chắc là tạm thời mob 0 sư phụ 1000%, cộng với năng lực tẩy não bằng mồm đã thuyết phục được những tên còn lại "Các người đều khiếm khuyết cho dù có sở hữu sức mạnh tn, cũng đều là con người thôi", những thứ như hộ vai quần áo hay xăm ba lăng nhăng ngoài việc để trang trí thì chúng ko có tác dụng gì =)))
Dựa dẫm vào sức mạnh quá nhiều thì tư duy trở nên hạn hẹp.

Easily the best volume so far, you know the fight scenes have been pretty cool recently but there has been this drag with the brother rivalry. Which funnily enough isn't even mention in this, shows how much of an important plot point that was.

The fighting in this plays second fiddle, instead it's more of war of words. Which honestly I didn't think two opposing ideals in this society would be so damn interest. Little love story at the end was a bit of surprise to, wasn't totally shocked though as it's in the live action series. Which is pointed out straight away in that, it gave us more depth to someone, who has otherwise been a blank slate in this series so far.

A solid addition to a very solid series thus far.

This book was much more set up than the last, and much less action packed. But that doesn’t make it bad whatsoever. It was a fresh breath after how crazy the last volume was and it even provided me some good laughs.

Mob had some good character development in this novel and I’m invested in where his character will end up. We spent some time meeting new people and building up the background this novel, it was nice.

I think Mob Psycho is probably the best Manga I’ve ever read to this point.

I’m very sad that the library doesn’t have any more Volumes available, I prefer reading these physically than on my iPad or whatever but eh I guess I’ll catch up elsewhere.

Never mind - ended up reading the rest of it over the weekend. Liked it more as it got further into the story - Reigen, Dimple, all the other supporting Espers were good counterparts to Mob, and he grew into his own voice as well. Good times.

The claw arc just ended and we're slowly transitioning into the psycho helmet club arc. What I liked about this volume is that Mob stood up for a girl and showed his powers to her when he fixed her novel.

This is easily becoming one of my favorite manga of all time. Even One’s art has grown on me throughout the volumes.

The story is picking up and so is the humor and the heart. Definitely an amazing work.

This is probably the perfect volume of Mob Psycho. You get the conclusion of a major arc, and it tied it up far better than it was laid out in the first place. The last little story with Emi actually made me tear up. This is really such an amazing manga.
