Sapphira is disillusioned with the gods she's worshiped her entire life. She wants nothing to do with them or the throne she's meant to claim. As her people are driven farther underground and more territories stolen by the divine, she may have no choice but to claim the title Sapphira, Queen of Monsters.

Nox never expected to fall for Sapphira. He fought against their ethereal pairing from the moment he learned about it. All it took was one trip into the Underworld with her for him to fall hard, and as he leads her kingdom, he no longer wants to rule in the place fated to her.

Can Sapphira and Nox stop their kingdom from crumbling at the hands of corrupt gods?

Where do I go from here, Elaia? What do I do with my aching heart and soul? How do I keep on going?

Once again, you've managed to completely and utterly destroy me with your otherworldly storytelling. Once again, you've left me in an emotional puddle on the floor.

Do I mind it? Absolutely not. I am here for all the pain, hurt, and sorrow. I'm here for the betrayal, the rage, and the revenge. And I'm for the love, the devotion, and the bond that has nothing to do with divine intervention, and everything to do with two people finding home and solace in one another.

Elaia's Celestial Archers series is one you must experience by yourselves. A series that is so intricate and deep, offering you a grim world where truths aren't truths and preconceived beliefs and religious oppression are daily occurrences. So, what does one do when one realises their entire belief system is a lie? They grieve, they rage, they fight. And then, finally, they recognise the harshest of truths are better than the whitest of lies.

The story of Nox & Sapphira is far from over. Their path is unknown, filled with dangers and obstacles. And yet, even at the darkest of times, the light they have between them shines brighter than any darkness might. Even one coming from divine sources.

Thank you, Elaia, for having me on your team and allowing me to share this journey with you; it is a true honour!

5⭐️ Well… Elaia has done it again. This is Book 2 of the Celestial Archer series and it was just as good (and spicer) than Book 1. I absolutely cannot wait to get Book 3 and see how this ends.

BLURB:
Sapphira is disillusioned with the gods she’s worshiped her entire life. She wants nothing to do with them or the throne she’s meant to claim. As her people are driven farther underground and more territories stolen by the divine, she may have no choice but to claim the title Sapphira, Queen of Monsters.

Nox never expected to fall for Sapphira. He fought against their ethereal pairing from the moment he learned about it. All it took was one trip into the Underworld with her for him to fall hard, and as he leads her kingdom, he no longer wants to rule in the place fated to her

“I pray, that at the end of this, the gods will have declared me their villain.”

This book picked up right where Divine Arrows left off, and boy did it take me on a wild ride with Sapphira and Nox. I'm talking unexpected twists and turns that had me up all night, courtesy of the author's sneaky skills. The world building was so immersive that I forgot to eat, sleep, or interact with humans - it was glorious. I loved every minute of it, except for that ending that left me dying for the next book.

I loved this book. From the very first page, I was completely hooked—I couldn’t put it down. Where Divine Arrows gently pulled me into its world, Celestial Demons dragged me in and refused to let go. The stakes are higher, the emotions sharper, and everything just feels more intense in the best way.

The world expands beautifully, with even more mystery, magic, and that eerie, otherworldly atmosphere that Crowe does so well. I was constantly surprised—nothing felt predictable, and every twist felt earned. The pacing was perfect too; I flew through it but didn’t want it to end.

The characters? I’m obsessed. The emotional depth, the tension, the growth—it’s all dialed up, and I was completely invested. I cried, I gasped, I grinned like a fool. This book hit all the right spots for me.

If you enjoyed Divine Arrows, just wait. Celestial Demons takes everything and pushes it further—darker, deeper, and somehow even more beautiful. It’s become an instant favourite, and I already want to reread it.

I say I read because it’s fun, but then there’s books like these that take me on such an emotional rollercoaster that I think o should seek therapy afterwards. And yes, that is a compliment even though my heart is torn. Elaia, you have made my auto-read author list, I promise you that. I need book 3 asap before I loose my mind!

Anyway, just like book one, I was captivated. There was so much that happened in the book; good and bad. When we were in the ‘good times’, I could not wipe the smile off my face. Seeing Nox utterly obsessed and possessive over Sapphira is beautiful. He is the definition of “I hate everyone but her” and “touch her and you 💀”. It also made me super happy to see Sapphira learning to love her new life and making friends, especially Figor. That big scary beast is a teddy bear and the absolute sweetest! Now, in the ‘bad times’ I wanted to cry, scream, hit something, go into a rage like Nox, and so much more. The bad times broke my heart and made me angry all at once. And some of these bad moments better be a “sole, gotcha” moment or I may actually go insane if they are permanent. You’ll see what I mean once you read.

I continue to love every character. Sapphira is incredibly strong and I am looking forward to her being an excellent leader in book three. Nox will become many reader’s new ‘ultimate book boyfriend’ with his protectiveness and obsession for Sapphira and his love for his people. The friends in this book will also have everyone one loving them. I know I do; especially when it comes to Marcellius and Figor, and of course Fable.

Overall, I highly recommend this trilogy. Book three isn’t out yet, but I already know I’m going to love it just as much! Everyone better get their HEA!

Thank you Elaia Crowe for this eARC! This of my full, honest, spoiler free review!

Thank you thenerdfam and Elaia Crowe for this ARC copy. Here is my honest review.

Elaia Crowe strikes again with another unique fantasy romance story in the realm of the Underworld. Nox and Sapphira are back for book two with more drama and spice between them. The two of them must learn to work together to save the Underworld from a new-old threat from the gods. As attacks increase on the Underworld Sapphira must embrace her role and queen and learn to love all that she has hated. With tropes like fated mate, forced proximity, religious indoctrination, quests, prophecies, and good vs. evil this book delivered. A very well done second book that did not feel like only a between story filler, this book stands on its own as a very interesting read. The spice did feel a bit much and repetitive to me at times, but the ending was spectacular and left me reeling for more. The lust god plays a much larger role in this book in an unexpected way that thrilled me. A very interesting book that I found myself getting sucked into again and again.

Quotes:
“It’s not you. Not that I don’t trust you to hold my heart. It’s that I fear you might hold it too well, and then I will fall for you with no return. I will fall for you so fiercely that any end with you will turn me into nothing."
“I can’t. This darkness is so heavy.” “Sometimes the only way to bring back the light is to embrace the darkness rather than fighting it.”
"It is only changing you into who you were always meant to be. It's only foreign because what should have been was stripped from you."

✨ 4.5 STARS ✨

Celestial Demons by Elaia Crowe ripped my soul out, gently stitched it back together with dragon thread… and then set it on fire again 🔥🖤

This sequel pulled me in immediately. Elaia weaves in just enough context without slowing the action. And trust me, there’s a lot of action.

Saphyra and Nox are everything. Their bond in this book grows deeper, more intimate, more earned. You feel every flicker of hope, every sacrifice, every look that holds a hundred unspoken words. I wanted a bit more time in some of those emotional moments, but even when things felt rushed, the impact still hit hard.

And the quest storyline?? Absolute genius. Each piece they search for adds layers to the world, the lore, and their connection. By the 60% mark I was fully emotionally invested… and then the book decided to break me 😭

Figor was such a surprising delight 🖤 a fluffy demon I didn’t expect to love so fiercely. His bond with Saphyra is tender, protective, and gave me so many feelings 🥺

The last 30% had me clutching my chest like a dramatic heroine. I knew something was coming. I could feel it creeping in. And I still screamed “DON’T TRUST HIM” at my Kindle like it was going to listen 😩

💔 The final chapters absolutely wrecked me. I was sobbing at 1AM and I regret nothing.

Docking half a star only because the pacing felt a little uneven, some emotional moments flew by too fast but the story? The characters? The emotional damage?? All absolutely unforgettable.

Elaia, you’ve created something powerful, and I can’t wait for book three. Just please… let my heart rest. For like… 5 minutes 😭💫

I enjoyed that this story didn’t have the dual storylines, instead we follow Sapphira and Nox. My attachment to these two is ridiculous. They’ve both been through so much you can’t help but root for them. Nox finally starts to learn some new things, Sapphira is returned to the Underworld, their world once again turned upside not only by their hearts but the enemy that is coming for them. It definitely did take me a bit to get into and push through, but the story was worth it. Watching Nox go through and struggle with the loss of Zyro, his feelings for Sapphira and also the loss of her father Erebus is heartbreaking. Watching two characters pine for each other and finally once again give in is amazing. He will burn the world for her. His sister will start a Holy War is she loses him. Sapphira will destroy everything to make sure he is at her side. We get a lot of growth between Nox and Sapphira. She’s a girl who never wanted to lead and has fought tooth and nail about not being with Nox. Nox is willing to sit back and wait while he runs her kingdom. Between these two we get spice, laughter, tears, anger, and heartbreak. This book left on a huge cliffhanger and now I really need book 3.

⭐️⭐️⭐️️⭐️/ ️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Elaia Crowe hooked me with book one in her Celestial Archers series. She has this ability to pull her readers in and keep them hooked with her writing. She authors amazing characters, storylines that are filled with twists and turns, giving you hope and romance while simultaneously leaving you in a puddle on the floor from sorrow and pain. A must read author in my opinion!

Celestial Demons immerses you in complexity and depth that has you guessing with every turn of the page. Sapphira is questioning so much from book one, disillusioned with everything she has been raised in, nothing is as it seems. She is not only fighting a physical battle, but a mental one that is raging inside of her. I love her fierceness, drive, and fight. As she is dealing with hard truths, Nox is right there fighting for and with her.

Their relationship is full of complexities that had me feral for these two! I couldn’t get enough of these two in book one and book two just brought on the tension, desire, and drama between them two. Elaia knows how to keep her readers on the hook when it comes to romance. Their journey is far from over and I can’t wait to see how these two end up.

Elaia pushed the boundaries in her latest book. If you haven’t read her yet, don’t wait any longer! One book is all it took to hook me and she has gained a reader for life!

As always, review any author notes before reading.

What to Expect:

💖Circles of Sins Trials
🏹Deconstruction of Faith
💖Morally Gray Fallen Angel
🏹Political Intrigue

This was the perfect sequel to book one!! I was so excited when this one landed on my kindle because I couldn’t wait to be back in this world!

We get to spend more time in the various realms, learning more about the princes and watching as Sapphira comes into her own in this one. It was refreshing to see her come around to her situation, with gentle prodding from Nox. I love how he helped her to fall in love with the underworld and learn about her people by just showing it to her, not forcing her or holding her feet to the fire.

I’m also so glad Sapphira came around to revisiting how she felt about Nox. Having his POV lets us really understand his pining and just how much not only that he loves Sapphira but how much he wants her to succeed in her birthright. He has no desire to usurp her or lead in her place, but instead is her biggest champion, even if he can be a little overbearing sometimes.

The last 50 pages of this one were a RIDE to say the least and I absolutely refuse that what looks to have come to pass is actually the whole story. I refuse to believe those individuals are gone and I cannot wait to see the wrath of the one that is left behind!! I’m already counting the days till Ethereal Darkness releases!

Huge thank you to the author Elaea Crowe for gifting me this eARC!! I can’t wait for the conclusion!!

Celestial Demons picks up immediately where Divine Arrows ended. The story is action packed and very much focuses on the journey and evolution of born to greatness but feeling like they have that greatness thrust upon them. Throughout the story Sapphira is trying to figure out who she is, yes, she's been told what she is (sort of) by the end of the previous book, but to actually step into that role requires much more than she's willing to face. Meanwhile, Nox is helping Sapphira by running and taking care of the realm she is now ruler of. Despite their reluctance, it becomes more of a struggle to deny what they are to one another.

As a continuation of the first book, the plot here is still engaging but the amount of additional world building was a bit of a turn off for me at times. While it was interesting to visit the various princes of the underworld, it felt like a repeat of Divine Arrows despite some of the relationships that develop between the princes and Sapphira. That being said, those moments do show how Sapphira is growing and how she is slowly coming to terms with her new reality.

While this is the second book in a series, it was just not working out for me. However, I am hopeful that things will get better for Sapphira as she continues to learn and come into her power. Thank you to Elaia Crowe for the gifted ARC; all opinions are my own.

Book two of this series picks up where book one left off, following the story of Sapphira and Nox only this time. As you make your way through the story, you follow the FMC as she learns to wield her new powers given she inherited from her father. As she grows stronger, hidden truth reveals that what she believed about her past may not be all that it seems. The bond between her and Nox only deepens as they spend more time together and see them develop a meaningful relationship so strong they can’t keep away from each other. If you are looking for the next morally gray man who would watch the world burn for her and gives touch her and you die, Nox is him.

I thoroughly enjoyed this second book in the series and was immersed in the world so well I couldn’t put the book down once I started! There are a few unexpected turns and some new characters I’ve come to love and I can’t wait for the next book in the series to find out what happens! The ending was a cliffhanger and I need to know what happens to some unexpected characters!

Thank you to the author for gifting me a copy of this book, all opinions of this review are my own!

“it’s terrifying and wonderful to experience falling in love.”

Book 2 in the Celestial Archers series kicks off with Sapphira working on her powers. And Nox ruling the Underworld in her stead, far away from her waiting for her to ask for him just like he said he would. As things become increasingly unsteady in the kingdom she must one day rule, Sapphira begins to accept her role and who she truly is. Doing so sets her on a journey to unlock her true powers. All while this is happening Nox and Sapphira seem to be naturally falling for each other. Will she ever ask him to take the mask off?

I RRRRRREALLY loved the depth of love shown in this book. Nox truly begins to understand his deepest feelings and he’s so poetic. Who would’ve thought 🥹
I adore the fact that they fell for each other even with Nox’s mask on. Truly shows that if someone was made for you, you’d know.

Nox is truly a morally grey MMC and I am so here for it

“You can’t put me above an entire realm.”
“I can and do.” 🫠😩

Book 3 will be heavy on my mind in the coming months

Thank you to Elaia Crowe for the eARC copy 🫶🏼

Celestial Demons is Book 2 in the Celestial Archers series and is a dark fantasy romance picks off right after where Divine Arrows leaves off. This book however focuses only on Sapphira and Nox and is just as amazing as Book 1. It is another thrilling adventure where Sapphira ends up back in the underworld and starts to learn more about her magic and how to use it. She starts to accept her role and responsibilities which sets her on a journey, with the help of Nox, filled with action and adventure. I love the addition of characters and Figor is my absolute favorite. The worldbuilding continues to be immersive and the plot is so unique. It is an emotional rollercoaster with twists and turns that keeps you at the edge of your seat. The love story starts to unfold between Nox and Sapphira and they finally begin to admit how much they can’t live without the other. There is a cliffhanger at the end that has me dying for the next book!

Thank you so much to the author for the gifted eARC.

Oh my! I absolutely LOVE the dynamic between Sapphira and Nox! The banter is incredible! She's just like, no, I'm not running the kingdom, you do it. I also love how she bosses him around and keeps him on his toes. His devotion to her is so evident in everything he does. He's very clever too. He'll bring things to her attention in a very casual way. Enticing her to step in and take the reigns. I also love how she's so protective of the children and makes it a point to spend time with them, doing special little things for them. She's meant to rule.

I'm in love with this series and the characters. The writing is so vivid it's like I'm right there in the scene. Also, you want lines that make you swoon? Nox has a ton of them! I'm melting. Need a cold shower. Ultimate book boyfriend for sure!

4 🌟. The second book in the series provides more insight into the world this author has created. Sapphire is gaining power and knowledge as to her role in the Underworld and Nox is helping her find her way. There are twists and turns along with surprises that make this series a compelling read. This author does a great job of developing characters and creating fun new creatures.

Thank you to the author for this gifted e-arc.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Thank you for picking right back up from where we left off in Book 1! The Princes of Hell - love, love, love Figor - definitely one of my new favorite characters. Zyro still holds a special place in my heart - but Figor was a fantastic surprise. Fable is cute too - I’m just not a cat person. I’d rather have a big furry monster as my best friend. Can’t wait for book 3!

Celestial Demons by Elaia Crowe is the second book in the Celestial Archers series. In the first book, Sapphira learns of her heritage. In this book, she struggles to come to terms with what her heritage means and works to accept all the changes that come with it.

I liked this story and the character growth of the characters. Although I found it a little predictable on certain plot points, it was still really well written.

Celestial Demons picks right up where Devine Arrows left off. Just so you know, this is not a stand-alone.
Elaia Crowe takes you to another world on a roller coaster ride. You have your love story, but that doesn't take away from the action and adventure. Be prepared to feel all the emotions.
It does end on a cliffhanger. I'm on pins and needles waiting for book 3.
