I liked these books.I was confused at times.Lara can go in and out of peoples dreams,just like her dad did.She fights a monster that turns out to be her fathers damaged spirit.He comes to his senses,even as a shade,and helps her understand what she is.There id death and mayhem.I enjoyed Suzanne Elise Freemans narration.I was given this book free by either the author,narrator or publisher.

T.C. Pearce take us into a world where humans are not the only race and things that happen in dreams are reality. I was mesmerized by several parts of this story especially the character developments and magical elements of the plot. I was eager to see how it ended. However, I feel there were too many components to the story, too many characters, and too many sub plots, that made it hard to follow along at times. I enjoyed the ending but it was over a little too quickly, and seemingly too easy, for the masterful story Pearce created.

Suzanne Freeman does a fine job with this story's narration and its multitude of characters. I was impressed by her character nuisances which were subtle, natural, and a perfect fit for each person. The timing between scenes and chapters were a little rushed for me, but that did not hinder her story telling and it was enjoyable to listen.

Overall I enjoyed this novel and would recommend it to all.

Into the Aether is a terrific paranormal mystery where dreams may be reality and reality is subject to question. Although I found it a bit hard in the beginning to get my footing, once I understood the shifting structure I enjoyed the story and the characters immensely. I listened to the book on the audible app and the narration was well done.
