Well this was an emotional journey. Sophie, Knox & Vault all have lots of past trauma, & are all hiding these from each other. Knox & Vault are childhood friends/lovers, but when Vault encounters his trauma, he pushes Knox away. After her trauma, Sophie becomes a Domme at the Monarch Club, Knox & Vault’s best friends club. They’re both trying to heal themselves with Sophie, unknowingly trying to work their way back to each other. This is a story of overcoming their pasts, healing & moving towards the sunrise - together.

Whew I just finished this one and it was hot with lots of angst!
If you read or liked the any popular s*x club series (SPC) I think this is a great variation to that. The whole series (3 so far) is a group of childhood friends most of which work or frequent the Monarch Club. They can definitely be read as standalones but the characters connections to each other are just great.
This book follows friends Knox and Vault who were once more than friends and the Dominatr*x, Sophie, who wants to mend their relationship...actively! She also has some secrets of her own. I really loved these 3. They meshed so well and the characters all had such dynamic chemistry between them all in different ways. I did really love that there seemed to be a lot of communication and care between everyone especially with the very dark history and traumas each one was carrying. They were all fighting in their own way to be better for themselves and for each other in order to be a better partner.
This was fast moving, very emotional, hot and full of angst. These characters were easy to invest in and root for and cry for!
I recommend the whole series but this one was my personal fav so far.

Once again Briana Michaels has written a book that I could not put down to save myself. But I didn’t want to be saved. I wanted to sit in the darkness with these three and hold on tight until sunrise.
Between the angst and the heat I think I was leaking from multiple orifices at any given point through this one, but it was so worth it. Sophie, Knox, and Vault were put through the wringer but that just made their happily ever after all the sweeter. Because, like Knox says, legendary love is chef’s kiss.

Knox, Vault, and Sophie! Holy crap!!!
This trouple is everything, they will make you smile, swoon, and rip your heart out with tragedy.
Briana has done an amazing job and making sure each character of the Monarch Club is necessary and fit together perfectly! Absolutely loved this book, may be my favorite of the trilogy!!

Knox, Sophie and Vault are 🤌🏻 the perfect love story to end this series.
This whole series was perfection but their love story was my favorite.
Watching Vault work through his trauma with Sophie so he could find his way back to Knox (and love her, was so beautiful. The struggle he had with having the two versions of himself due to what he's been through to protect himself was so relatable, you separate those versions to have one to protect yourself.
Knox my sweet boy, all he wanted was to always protect and love Vault, he was his first true love. He was there to hold him together, and there to save him from himself. The way he plasters on the smile to make sure everyone else is happy and okay, and the love he has for Sophie and is there at the drop of a hat for his girl!
And our gorgeous Mistress Sophie! I was so happy when I saw she was getting her love story with this book, most strong women have something they went through to get them that way. To watch how she's grown and taught herself to be strong no matter what, and to watch her open up to Knox and Vault 🥹.
Their love story was perfect, as a polyamorous person sometimes throuple love stories can feel really forced and so insta love, watching how they all slowly found their love together and how Sophie helped Knox and Vault to find their love 🥹 Brianna girl this book was utter perfection!!!

So many inter connections and beautiful healing
*This book has some serious trauma that is handled in different ways that work for the characters but may need to be reviewed for those who may have trauma activation.
That being said hot hades and sweet sweet heart ache this was an intense and emotional engaging experience. It was also super scrumptious and hot as all get out. The reflection and depth of the characters move you. The story had so many sub levels that each expanded in a way that was satisfying. I feel like Work Song by Hozier could have been the theme music throughout and would fit in different ways each chapter and for each character.

Amazing read!
Rhiana has done it again. Sophie, Vault and Knox all have past trama. Vault and Knox have been friends forever. Sophie entered their world and works at Monarch with Vault. Knox and Vault have a relationship that is barely holding on and Sophie is the tie that binds them, ALL. Amazing story as always. If she writes it, I will read it

This was such a great story! I loved learning about their pasts and seeing the flashbacks. I loved seeing how they were healing and finding their way back to each other.

Exactly what I hoped for.
If you’ve ever fantasized about the bdsm scene without ever trusting anyone enough to participate, I think you’re going to enjoy this book as much as I did. You should definitely read the other Monarch Club books first.

I loved this more than Ryker and I loved Ryker a lot haha. The traumatic pasts were realistic and not over done or over explained. Love the love triangle aspect. And of course pretty smutty. I think Ryker was a dirtier book, but the back story of this one really made it

Fab read.
This series had been so good, I have loved reading about the other guys finally getting their happy endings. And now Vault and Knox finally get theirs too! I just loved that they managed to work their way through the past and so enjoyed the dynamic that they got with Sophie too.

I loved this book and just couldn't put it down. It was witty, spicy, funny... It was everything.
I loved how Sophie, Knox, and Alex were able to get past their trauma and I fell in love with their love story. Love a good happily ever after.

Loved it!!!
I just love Knox and his nerdy talk kink and love of smut books and his love for Vault and Sophie. Knox, Vault and Sophie are all damaged but help save each other. This was The best book of the series!!!
