Piper Emberlane, a fierce and brilliant 18-year-old werewolf, has lived her life behind tattoo needles and broken dreams. After years of hiding her scars beneath magical ink, she’s ready to leave her pack, her past, and everything that ever tried to own her.
But on the night she plans her escape, a strange tattoo appears—one she didn’t draw. The Luna Crest. It means she’s chosen to be someone’s mate. Someone’s Luna. And Piper never asked for that.
Before she can run, an Alpha named Caelen arrives, claiming she’s his fated bond. But Piper isn’t the type to be claimed. She fights. She resists. She makes her own rules.
Now forced into hiding together, their cabin becomes a battleground of secrets, strength, and slow-burning tension. As Piper unravels the truth behind her tattooed fate, she must Will she follow the mark destiny gave her—or the path she carved herself?

I absolutely loved this story! I hope there will be more! What a badass, tough and broken character! And dam the way you describe the characters and the magic of the tattoos... we can actually picture it. Her kids, more Lunas in the other packs, finding true mates, the woman in the small cabin that couldn't change? More supernaturals wanting to join. How many start thinking about their next tattoo while reading this? Appointment made💜
This has so much potential the story was fantastic however probs wouldn’t recommend reading as it needs tidying up and reviewing. The beginning of every chapter didn’t make sense to the end of the last. 2 stars purely for the story.
Loved this story and characters. I really liked that it had an epilogue chapter. Thank you for using Kindle Unlimited. Get this author's books and leave your reviews.
Just seems the whole book was rushed, more like a condensed version. No time to connect with characters or be very invested. Good bones but no real intrest. Sorry just disappointing.
The first two chapters of this book are the same scene played out in different ways, like she couldn’t decide which one she liked and then never took one out before publishing. The book is very redundant and the same few phrases are used through the entire thing to describe scenes/emotions/words. It repeats itself so many times through the book there isn’t really much original thought going into it tbh. I ended up giving up on the last chapter because it was so disappointing. This also popped up for me as a romance novel but there isn’t a lick of romance in it
The story line was inconsistent throughout the book. The first 2 chapters repeated themselves but also had contradicting details. This happened a few times. The plot was interesting despite this and was the only reason i finished the book, but I have no desire to reread it.
It is what it is - was a good short very straightforward book as a pallette cleanser between big books. Male main character is lovely and I like the magic tattoos concept.
It was ok but kind of boring. I struggled to stay interested but did see it through until the end. Not the kind of excitement you’d expect if you read werewolf stories frequently.
