Award-winning, Bestselling, Author Blue Saffire presents
Kings of New York Series
Ronan
Since the day the lass landed on Irish soil, she has done my head in. She’s the friend of my nephew’s bird. For that reason, I told myself to keep my distance. However, I made one mistake.
It was one kiss but everything about her has haunted me since. After years of pain and loss, I want to breathe again. I want to start something new.
However, I should be focused on the family’s business. Especially now that the Alliance is coming to life and my da has asked me to stand right in the middle of it.
Dean
I needed to get away. All my life I’ve given my all and my trust was broken over and over again. Friends, family, colleagues—they’ve all done me dirty.
Life has taught me money can’t buy you love, but it will purchase plenty of enemies. I’m tired of being treated like a non-factor with no feelings. Just a pocket for others to reach in or a resource to be used. Lakia and Kaye have proven to be real ones but I keep even them at arm’s length and away from my truth.
I don’t need anyone else in my life, I don’t want to let anyone else in. Especially not the older, sexy redhead who has a way with words and skills that could melt your bones from your body.
So how in the world do I end up married to the same persistent man? He’s not going to let me go. Frankly, I’m tired of running. It has only stolen from me more than the situations I’ve run from.
What will happen when she allows our worlds to collide? How will we handle the truth? Can we survive all the drama thrown our way or will it be better to give up?
*This a Novel in the Kings of New York Series, a spinoff from the bestselling, award-winning series Legally Bound that introduced LaSalle, Brooklyn, Logan, and Misha. While you can read this book as a standalone, it will enhance the read to Blue’s books in the provided book order. Blue Saffire’s books are written to weave, loop, and intertwine with one another. You will find that the series builds together for a greater experience.
NEW YORK CITY – In just over a year since romance author Blue Saffire began writing and releasing books, she has trailblazed a path to success that many indie writers can only dream of. A multi-Swirl Award winner and a perennial Amazon bestseller, Saffire is the woman behind the popular interracial romance series “Legally Bound,” “Hush,” “Ballers,”“Brothers Black,” “Perfect For Me” and “Yours.”
Always the overachiever, Saffire typically releases a new book every four to six weeks, quenching the thirst of her dedicated fans with spicy storylines and dynamic writing. Saffire has seven releases slated between October 2016 and January 2017 including three new “Brothers Black” books and four new “Legally Bound” books.
One of Saffire’s keys to success is her talent for connecting with readers on a personal level. In 2017, she’s throwing Blue’s March Madness from March 23 to March 25 at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, SC. Not only does each reader get a chance to meet and hang out with Saffire, she’s inviting her bestselling author friends to join in on the fun. Included in the price of tickets are the events, new books exclusive to March Madness attendees and an extra-special secret surprise. BLUE SAFFIRE is a woman on a mission to share her words and thoughts with the world. She has found her passion in her pen and steams up the pages with her humor, honesty, love and voice. Saffire represents the secret author inside that some of us are too scared to let out.
Saffire and her family all enjoy life in the suburbs. However, life throws her challenges daily and since her diary is no longer enough, she has decided it is time for new outlets for the words she would never say face to face to her friends, family and definitely not her husband. Either it’s been a while since I’ve read the other books in the series and I just need to catch up, but my brain was not connecting any dots. Now I see why Blue emphasises reading the other books in the series, because otherwise it made zero sense! But funnily enough I’ve read most if not all of them and that tumble weed never left my mind.
Danny was deffo a baddie in her own right and Rowan that Irish king was a gawd. They worked together in the end but I’m sorry to say they annoyed me in between because they were both sooooo oblivious, and when they had a clue of something they were turning a blind eye. Also just throwing that out there but if you know you’re going to get killed, wouldn’t you take measures to prevent it??? Nooo not Freddie. I get that the spice was deffo up there but for me that was the only thing that stood out, and even then there’s only so much whomping one person can do.
This book doesn’t feel like Blues best work because I didn’t have any feeling towards Ronan. The Hush series was unmatched for sure. Whoopty doo you’re the head and Danny was your destined lover and both their families wanted them together. Ronan’s mum was funny, but I just didn’t connect or like much of the story sadly.
The clues were bait and you saw a lot of perspectives but it made the story boring in my opinion. After that underwhelming epilogue I don’t have any excitement for the next book in the series.
I enjoyed this story. Blue always leaves me satisfied yet craving for more. Despite liking this story I was actually more interested in Dean as an author. I wanted to read more about the woman and the publishing company that stole from her. I kept waiting for the story to address it, but it was sort of resolved by mentioning of a lawsuit. Otherwise great story.
I truly loved this story, Blue gave us that unhinged from the woman and man. Danny was that chick honey , and Ronan wanted all the smoke. I’m so happy they found each other and how uncle Freddy put it all in play. This book kept me on my toes and had my mind going crazy trying to put it all together. Looking forward to the next book .
I loved everything about this book. Blue wrote her face off. Character development ✔️ Plot twist and turns ✔️ Chemistry between the main characters 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Hell of a story ✔️ Can't wait for the next King!!!!
I seriously don’t know how to review this book 😮 there is too much going on, yoo many twists and turns. Well, I ll tell you this much, it is a page turner, and it will keep you at the edge of your seat. Ronan and Danny aka Dean will lead you to a world of passion, … and other places not for the weak. Awesome read!
This book is so good. I can't wait for the rest of the story. Danika is that chick!! She meets her equal with Ronan. He is certainly giving Dom BDE. I think they will climb my favorite couples list. Tasha, Val and Danika... all I can expect is more fabulous gangstas. I'm excited. I couldn't put this book down. I could read it again rught now it was so good.
This is another Exciting and Superb story. It grabs your mind like you can't believe! Okay let me catch my breath so that I can tell you how much I enjoyed and got so caught up in reading this story. Ronan and Dean is a couple that takes you on a emotional ride! Their life as it unfolds makes you feel so many emotions. Dean is lovely but she will also scare you, make you feel sorrowful and at the same time makes you want to become her ride or die bestie and"Oh my Ronan is charming possessive and handsome and so many other things that makes him a dream. What is it about these muscle chests and a little deranged types, that make us love them so. Whew their relationship is so perversely beautiful but I loved every moment of it. I was so hyped up by the suspense plus the action and vengeance going on that I did not want to put my reader down to go to sleep but it was so worth it!. Ms. Blue made me fall in love with all the mother characters they had me laughing so hard I couldn't stop. Blue Saffire is such an exceptional storyteller. She always writes such imaginative and thrilling stories I greatly enjoy whatever she writes. This story is intense! So tightly plotted and lavishly characterized! Every word is so worked and will keep you so closely attentive. The story unfolds elegantly and each scene a work of art which is intricately connected to the next. It's impressive and exquisite! I thank her for my enjoyment. Just read it I Highly recommend!!!
That cover? Everything. If I could frame it, I would. 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝒀𝒐𝒓𝒌 series kicks off with this book, and it’s a strong start. We finally get more Ronan, the uncle we’ve been teased with for far too long. Dean is the heart of the story. If you liked her in 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓 and 𝑩𝑩5: 𝑭𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒙, this fills your curiosity. The story overlaps with LaKia and Kaye’s arcs, which makes everything feel even more rich.
This is an age-gap romance featuring characters in their 30s and 40s, which I loved. It felt adult in the best way, with real stakes and earned emotion. Val makes an appearance that had me full-on fan-girling. It was the perfect Easter egg. Dean and Ronan bring fire, but Laoise brings the laughs. That woman had me in tears. Her sass, her timing, the scene where she pinches Dean; all of it gold.
If you love complex families, sizzling romance, and adult characters making bold choices, this one is a must. I’ve reread it three times and it still holds up every time.
Another outstanding book Blue Saffire never misses! I absolutely loved this one. Ronan was that man! There’s something about a man who isn’t intimidated by a strong woman, and Ronan embodied that perfectly. He and Dean shine together their chemistry was off the charts!
This book was packed with action and emotion. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend reading the Legally Bound, Brother Black, and Hush series, as they all tie into the Alliance storyline. The connections across the books are what make this world so rich and addictive.
If you find yourself feeling a bit lost, it’s probably because the puzzle pieces come together from the earlier series definitely worth the dive!
I can’t wait for the next installment in this series!
When I tell you this book right here, had my mouth dropped wide open! I was not expecting any of this. I thought it was going to be just a regular love story, but I should have known better. Ms. Blue, girl, the way your mine works. I just love it! Dean is up there with Val. I love her story and Ronan was made for her. Ronan and Dean are in the same category as LaSalle and Tasha, Uri and Val, and Michael and Sim, which means I need more. I will be re-reading this book. If I could have given it more stars than 5, best believe it would have gotten them. Excellent!
It was good seeing old faces show up in a new book .I have loved reading all your books to see how all the characters weave together from one series to another .And its always bring joy whenever Cass is in any story. I can't wait to see were this series takes us as it get closer to the Alliance being complete. Thank you so much for what you do and for the escape your wonderfully crafted books bring to your die hard fans . If you have been living under a rock and haven't heard of Blue Safire do yourself a favor and pick up her work your life will never be the same afterwards I promise.
This installment fits in with the others in this series. Ronan and Dean were meant to be. I ALWAYS like seeing characters from other novels. Even the mention of them is good to me. Dean was a writer and she was friends with Kaye, Felix's wife. That's how Dean come into the McGowan/Black families world. Truthful there was some interaction and crossing going in the past but it just wasn't known. I don't know if anyone else had a problem with the timeline but some things were not adding up in my head. But, maybe if was just me. I am really looking forward to the other books coming down the line.
Ronan is a force to reckon with…Ro knows Danika by another name a writer of urban literature..But she is so much more Danika has another side that’s ruthless and vicious she is a force and if she visits you death is at your door..Uncle Ro is equally ruthless but he’s not sure she can handle his lifestyle the writer cannot Danika was built for it..There’s a traitor in her family and all of the pieces are coming together..Lasalle is back his plan to organize is coming together so many obstacles and players.. All of our favorite characters are back Blue never disappoints.
Outstanding read, I always love your story. I couldn’t go to sleep because I had to read this all the way through. My best friend encouraged me to read your books because I had introduced her to you & Anceilli. I remember when she told me she had saved up to buy every single book you had published. She would have really loved this story, she’s been gone for 4yrs now, I really miss her. We always shared a good book, I would have told her about this one or she would have told me. I will be reading this book over, Danny is a true bada$$, I love her & Ronan.
Yes!! She is hands down one of my favorite authors!!! She never ever disappoints her pen came is the absolute best. I loved Ronan and Danika!!! Danika was a beast. She was the epitome of that girl. Adding Ronan to mix made it even better. He was a MAN, and his confidence and love for his Dean/Danny/Danika made him awesome in my eyes. I loved his family and hers. This is a book worth reading and golden from start to finish. To say you're going to be surprised by Danika is an understatement.
It's been a while since I've read a Blue Saffire book, and when I decided that I wanted to read a romance that I could escape into, I saw this pop up on Amazon. The cover is amazing, and it is what made me want to read this book. Then I read the blurb, and I knew I had to read this book. I was not disappointed; it was amazing, exciting, thrilling, and intense. Can I have more of Ronan and Dean? I love this couple, and I wish someone would make this into a movie, and I also want an audiobook.
Blue Safire never disappoints. The plot was interesting, all the clues, code and connection did not lead me Myron being Byron. Mama, let it be known, she knew things. Trust was a factor in all, due to mistrust, Anika missed out on a relationship with her uncle. Jealousy, entitlement and mental illness drive people to do things to get what they think are owed to them. I cannot wait for the next book in series.
I’m pretty sure I’ve read every book in the legally bound series including all the spin offs to the Alliance. I feel as though I needed to read them all over again. This book was fire. I love these strong women with these strong men that support, love them hard and treat them like queens. They protect but also stand by them and push them forward. Loved Ronan, Danika and the fur babies.
Dean and Ronan are fire! This book was so good Dean/Danny is a beast and I love every minute of her. Ronan meet his match and he loves her for her. This book shows how strong women are that they can handle the during thing. Danny is not a joke she is beast when comes to taking care of her people. Ronan is sexy and ruthless. He doesn’t play about his woman or family. I love the respect they give to their elders. Family secrets never stay hidden. This is a must read.
I've read just about every book Blue has written and I've loved her work. This just wasn't hitting for me. Maybe I'm over it? The other BWWM authors, and just Black female writers period I've discovered and/0r have been reading lately (Olivia Gaines, Mel Dau, Angelia Vernon Menchan, Tiana Laveen, KT Adler...all fire with fresh and new ideas!) have just been knocking it out of the park over this. It's just not the same.
Ronan gets the family he has been after with Danika. I was happy he didn’t rush her to have a baby, he let her do it in her own timeframe and what was right for her. I really enjoyed this book, it had all of the humor and laughter I’ve come to enjoy in reading your books, it was on 🔥 as usual. Looking forward for your next release in the Kings of New York series.
I enjoyed the book but I don't recall reading about the friend's reaction to the lead character's identity. I thought the book was good and really started enjoying it after the action started to pick up. I loved the action scenes once the lead character was more active and enjoyed the world building. The reveal towards the end with the lead female's sister was a surprise but not a total shocker as there were enough breadcrumbs to guess at what happened.

Did not want this page turner to end! Plot twist after plot twist page turner! Ro and Danny were absolutely soulmates. Loved that it was not a quick relationship and that it spanned over two years. Myron deserved everything he got and I was rooting for Anika she did not deserve imprisonment and I hope she gets vengeance 😂😂 The family tree was so convoluted tho!!! Lyric is the best! Ma & Pa McGowan baby’s wife is giving them a Grandchild 🥰🥰
This book was everything and then some. Ronan and Danny are out of this world. Their story is so much and not enough for me. Family before anyone. I love the motto. Blue bringing characters from her previous works was genius. LaSalle, the Black's, Logan, and so many others tie this story together. The blood and gory details of killings was unexpected. I'm very excited about the next book. Keep the hits rolling Blue Saffire.
My man needs to earn every sound that comes out of my mouth.
Danny, Danny, Danny!!!!!! Danika Dean is the whole TRUTH, the words that came out of that woman’s mouth… Lawd someone help me. This book might be by far one of my favorites in this series, ok out of Blue’s books!!!!! Ronan, ok I seen you and you did put it down and yeah… I did fall in love 😘 Please read this, LAWD this is guud!!!!!! I have to keep this train moving
Blue writes Amazing plots, steaming love scenes, and always creates Legendary Characters. When you get a chance read all of these books in order I promise you will not be disappointed. All of them are worthy of becoming movies or a TV series. Ronan and the pale horsemen is a great read. Well Done!
This couple is added to my favorites and deadly. I loved how they came together. I loved their strength together and apart. I appreciated hearing about LaSalle, Ellen, Tosha, Uri, Val, and the LaBelle Mafia. I hated to see all of betrayal but all the threads that ran throughout the story brought every book together.
Didn't want the book to end and I know its the beginning of the new series...but, mz.Blue is pulling it all together with the Blacks, the Mariette's, the McGowan's, the Donati's and all the bad girl wives attached to these amazing alpha men I love it can't wait for the next book...bring it
I love to read about a strong black woman who can hold er own in a man's world. Her uncle had faith she would find the truth out about everything. I didn't like how she kept running from Ronan but he had somethings to figure out. Thus was a great read and I can't wait for the rest of the series.
I loved that the Blue Saffire brought us Ronan and Danny's story. This is going to become one of my favorite series by this author. I have readed quite a few her books by this author and they didn't fail to keep me interested. Can't wait for the next book. Thank you Blue.
