best novel i've read for Welsh beginners, despite very simple language & grammar it actually has a pretty neat plot and lots happens. You can see it coming a mile off, but how she achieves it is very clever and it sticks to the 'happens in real time' structure of classical drama theory! Worth buying, because these books are cheap and then you can annotate them heavily using your dictionary (my favourite is Y Lolfa's), you can't do that for library books and a £2 book will last you a week or two!
Gwyn, a young Welsh businessman, is working in Budapest, and his thoughts turn to his first love, a Hungarian girl. This is a simple but entertaining romance intended for Welsh learners - I would say suitable for teenage and upwards. The story has more twists and turns than I anticipated, even though the ending is somewhat predictable, and the backdrop of Budapest adds to the interest.
