I loved his best friend first.
I always thought Axel Stevens and I would live happily ever after. But he’s never liked me back.
His best friend though? Jacob Miller has made his feelings for me very clear. He’s the sweetest guy I know. His past is heartbreaking. And I want to make his future bright enough to make up for it.

I don't know whether to scream or to throw my Kindle.... I both loved and hated that ending. Book three can't come fast enough!
I've been enjoying this series! I was surprised at the slight spice level considering the main character is 17, but it was well done and tasteful.
I kept finding myself getting frustrated and slightly annoyed at Sophie and her antics. I feel like Scarlett would be so much happier with Jacob if Sophie dialed everything down. She really is just like Rob. It's kinda funny yet slightly annoying.
I love how the "Untouchables" homecoming story kept coming out in bits and pieces. Hearing it from Justin's point of view definitely makes it feel like some type of fever dream.
After everything that happened throughout this book I'm still definitely Team Jacob.

This book. 👏🏻 I’m in love with this series and have been reading about these characters for the last 6 years. Ivy’s writing and humor is top notch and so unique. She will literally have you in tears with some of these scenes. You have to read “Scarlett and the Kiss Thief” before reading this because each one ends in a cliffhanger, and you won’t get the full effect of what’s going on.
Scarlett is a senior in high school and has been in love with Axel since she was literally two years old. Her and her friends are on a secret operation to get him to finally notice her the way she wants him to. She wanted all of her firsts to be with him, except she has one problem-Someone keeps pulling her into dark places and stealing all of her firsts. Scarlett and one of her best guy friends, Jacob, start having feelings for each other but realize they’re better off as friends. Jacob comes up with a plan to fake date her so that Axel will get jealous. You have to read this to find out how all of these secret plans and missions pan out. Are Jacob and Scarlett really just friends? Does Axel become really jealous?

Mother flipping cliffhangers! Ugh. Did I love it or did I hate to love it? I’m honestly not sure but I’ll definitely be on the edge of my seat waiting for the 3rd installment.
The Operation crew is back at their shenanigans full time in this follow up to Scarlett and the Kiss Thief. There were so many laugh out loud moments - like the shopping trip failed heist, where I legitimately had tears rolling down my face. But there were also SO many times when I wanted to slap Scarlett silly for CONSTANTLY jumping to conclusions about the identity of her kiss thief. Girl, stop. You’re spiraling. You need to talk to a professional. I also don’t understand why she just doesn’t ask Axel why he cares so much who she does or doesn’t date? And why any guy who truly cares about her would put her through this whole thing?

* mystery guy hook up
* love triangle? Or rectangle? Who knows?

I absolutely loved this! I can't decide between Axel and Jacob now and I can't wait to find out! This is hilarious like most of Ivy's but I couldn't put it down. The chemistry was good and it was well written.

I was sad I couldn’t just roll into the final book of this trilogy. I couldn’t put book #2 down all day - Responsibilities? What are those???
I will say the parent’s intertwining history gets mentioned more as they reminisce about their Homecoming memories, so if you see this before starting - I’d probably go back to the very beginning of the Empire High couples.
You definitely see things escalate a bit more and the steam increases a bit, but there’s still the mystery of the kiss thief, and the pull between Jacob and Axel outside of the shadows. This is a high school YA story so nothing gets outrageous, but the characters do arc from
first kisses to more intimate scenes in this one.
Still plenty of hijinx between the teens with all the “Operations” to figure out who the Kiss Thief is and how to get Axel to pursue Scarlett romantically.
I hope the gremlin stays happy and everything goes smoothly for Ivy so we can all enjoy Scarlett’s next chapter!

I love this silly little series I can’t believe I have to wait a year for the next one. The secondhand embarrassment I get for the FMC is next level and I eat it up. I eat this up.
I will say I’m going to stab her dad and I don’t know why she lets him be an absolute controlIng POS. I would rebel. And the fact that the mom humors his controlling behavior is really pissing me off. It’s not cute anymore or funny.

This book is the perfect mix of swoony romance, laugh-out-loud moments, and just enough drama to keep your heart racing. Another cliffhanger! The topic of this whole book is trying to find out who is the kiss thief. There are different scenarios, some very comedic. The gang is trying to find out who is the mysterious person, but we don't get the answers right now. I do love the fact that she's with Jacob. I know everyone will want her with Axel, but I really liked Mitchell, Jacob's father. It's also very hard for me not to like Axel because I was on Team Tyler. I don't know who Scarlet is going to end up with, but in this case, I suppose I'll be fine either way.
It’s a fun book, but I think Ivy needs a new proofreader because there were so many grammatical errors. It may be a new thing, but I don’t think you’re supposed to begin a sentence with the word “And.” I can’t wait for it to be an audiobook. Hopefully, she’ll find a good narrator for Scarlett because I haven’t been too happy with the other audiobooks, with the exception of the male voices.

The dynamic foursome are at it again. Scarlett has lost her confidence and who she is. Which boy will help her find it again? So many emotions throughout this book! The push and pull between Scarlett, Axel and Jacob is so intense at times That I felt like I was right there with Scarlett living her life. Making each other jealous seems to be bringing other emotions out to the surface and only time will tell what it all truly means. James goes into protective dad mode and tries to keep Scarlett from making her own mistakes but ends up making his own. Penny is the sweetest and only wants the best for her girl. Rob well Rob is just Rob and probably the coolest dad around. Sophie is incredible and I seriously wish I was more like her. RJ and Liam are unapologetically themselves and I am here for every minute of it. The shenanigans they get into are hilarious. Costumes, spiked punch, secret trap doors and a boy not her boyfriend in her bed every night. The kiss thief strikes again and again but will Scarlett ever find out who he is? Who will she choose in the end? I hope we find out soon!

I am so in love with this series. I love being able to see James & Penny be parents along with everyone else. Plus I love how we started with Scar it feels just right. Seeing how the kids are so like their parents is amazing. It melts your heart every time a little more.
Scar is on a mission to figure out her kiss thief and continues on the mission with her family plus Jacob. But we must continue the ruse with having a fake boyfriend & let’s just say go Scar! It gets spicy 🥵 but her kiss thief wants her all to herself. She doesn’t know who she wants anymore & is at a crossroads. Scar is ready to take advantage of her time & not waste a minute more. But will it be too late? Or will the timing be just right?
Spice, laughter & OMG moments you truly don’t want to miss. I can’t wait for book 3 to come out! Ahhhh! Ivy Smoak you left me at the edge of my seat!

I’ve been here since the Hunted Series and being able to see their kids and how they are so much like their parents is amazing. The way James acts and is so protective over Scarlett is so not how I would’ve pictured him being a dad.
RJ and Liam are hilarious. Baby doll, lol. I hope we get books about them because I know my sides will be split. The operation names they come up with are even more hilarious.

Ahhhh, what an epic ending. I loved how much I questioned my self throughout the whole story. I think Ivy Smoak did a wonderful job keeping us guessing. I think i flipped sides with every chapter I read. As always her writing is magnificent not only am I excited to read the conclusion of Scarlett's story but I'm so excited to also reads Sophie's story. And of course every single one of the Hunter/Caldwell/Stevens crew especially Parker which i know is way down the line but this girl had me laughing her personality is epic. I'm so excited to see what the future holds for all these beloved characters. So definitely make sure you pick up Scarlett and The Kiss Thief if you haven't already and then dive into Scarlett and The Fake Boyfriend because you don't want to miss out on this amazing story.

Gah this book!!! I was soooooo ready to know who this thief was. All the stress Scarlett was dealing with between Jacob, Axel and the thief was making me stressed lol. I loved this book just as much and the first, and i already know I am going to love the last one too. I laughed, I cried! And I got frustrated with the boys. But honestly I love Ivy’s writing so much she cant stir up all the feels when she writes and I always have the best time reading, I will read anything she puts out! I am so torn with who I hope Scarlett ends up with and not sure who the thief is, i keep going back and forth on who i think it is. 5 star read had so much fun thank you for the ARC read and the chance to read it first. Now i will try to patiently wait for the next.

Omg! Scarlett and the faked boyfriend were hot! I love this book, I couldn’t put it down, it had the same effect as their parents!!! Scarlett is hilarious, and now I don’t know in which team I in! Ugh, so many emotions, I absolutely loved it, I need the last book right now, I don’t think I can’t wait! This but had me on edge the whole time and I couldn’t put it down. Going back to empire high is one of my favorite things!!

Oh my! Ivy did it again! In the first chapter I was crying. Towards the end I cried and I laughed so many times I can’t count. Scarlet is still looking for her kiss thief but fake dating Jacob for operation-too hot to handle. Through all the fake dating and shenanigans with her friends she makes some realizations. The parts with the first generation characters were awesome. Seeing the second generation have some of the same characteristics made it even better. This book did not disappoint and I can’t wait for the last one.

This series has me going crazy waiting for the next book 😮💨🤌🏻
Ivy has this amazing writing style where every book in the series ends in a cliff hanger that just makes you want to keep reading. I’m writing this review the day after finishing the book and I’m still speechless. I patiently waited for this book after reading the first but there is nothing patient about the way I need the next book.
I love seeing Scarlett grow up and learn about herself and gain her confidence as a high schooler with a super strict father (still love you daddy James even if you are too much).
I would LOVE to read a POV book from the kiss thief after this series is finished

Scarlett and The Fake Boyfriend
Wow, the quest to find out who Scarlett's kiss thief continues in this the second book of the Scarlett series.
More antics, more operations and this time, a fake boyfriend thrown into the mix. Lots of laugh out moments as everyone tries to figure out who it is. The usual suspects are still there.
Even though we still didn't find out at the end of the book, it still flowed and I read it so quickly, giggling at some of the gang's antics and gasping at some of the others.
I am really looking forward to the next book and to finding out who's Scarlett's kiss thief.

More antics, more operations and this time, a fake boyfriend thrown into the mix. Lots of laugh out moments as everyone tries to figure out who it is. The usual suspects are still there.
Even though we still didn't find out at the end of the book, it still flowed and I read it so quickly, giggling at some of the gang's antics and gasping at some of the others.
I am really looking forward to the next book and to finding out who's Scarlett's kiss thief.

Sorry it took me a minute to post lol. I have literally read this book 3 times and all three times when I think I know who the kiss thief is bam Ivy Smoak sends you in a different direction!!!!!! Omg this book is just as epic and the first one. I have laughed so much with the banter in this book that my ribs are sore. I can’t wait for book 3 to come out and I know it may be along shot but I’m still rooting for the kiss thief to be axel. I just can’t see her and Jacob having the chemistry that I know will happen with her and axel. Ivy didn’t disappoint in the empire high series and she isn’t disappointing in this one!!!! Wow Mrs Ivy!!!! Now the wait for book 3 is on and can’t wait to find out who the kiss thief really is I hope my instincts are correct who it is just bc she hasn’t kissed a certain someone in either of the books so we shall see!!!!!!!

ARC review! (Has spoilers)
I received this on July 11th and I really enjoyed it.
Jacob and Scarlett go on several "dates".
Axel has snuggies in bed with Scarlett after Jacob had taken her to a scary movie.
Axel wants Scarlett to break up with Jacob so that him and her can be single for the rest of the school year.
Daddy James has issues with Mr. Halifax telling Scarlett that there is going to be a pop guiz ahead of time.
Scarlett drops her phone and the screen breaks. She asks James for a new phone and of course he said he would repair it, only to try and hack it. Leaving Rob to save the day! Which gives Rob and Sophie the perfect prank.
Homecoming: what would an Ivy Smoak homecoming dance be without some drama and a fight?!

I was given this ARC and can I just say wow!
I laughed, cried and absolutely fell more in love with these characters. The operations, pranks, and comradery between the main 4 with Liam and RJ is so fun to read. Ivy did an amazing job with this book.
Team Jacob vs Team Axel vs Team Kiss thief. I love the fake dating trope. I'm personally Team Jacob. Even tho I wanted to throat punch him there for a minute. Axel is just infuriating sometimes. Although he was a cute drunk. BUT THAT TWIST NEAR THE END. Like what?! And who is the the kiss theif??????

this book had me laughing out loud so many times, bless Scarlett, there is a great mix of characters, Sophie is still my favourite i really want her as my best friend, i really cant work out who i want Scarlett to end up with any more lol, i really need book 3 like now, i need to know how this story will end,

Left on another cliffhanger as Ivy loves to do! The search for the kiss thief is coming to an end with an excruciating wait ahead for the next book and the big reveal, hopefully. I remember the time of teenage angst, and poor Scarlett. She deserves a happily ever after! Someone to truly love her out loud.

I can't even with this series, it just keeps getting better. You can really feel all of Scarlett's emotions as you're reading.That poor girl just can't seem to catch a break, especially from her Dad.
I love how this is such a quick and easy read without being boring. I was easily up into the wee hours of the morning reading this, it was so hard to put down.

I love the Empire High / Hunted series so getting to go back to Empire High with the new generation has been great. I love getting to see some of the original characters making their appearances too. I laughed out loud a few times in this book with all the crazy operations. Another brilliant book from Ivy. That cliffhanger though…! I need book 3 like now!! 😂😂 I am definitely Team Jacob!! 🥰

Scarlett and the fake boyfriend was a great read! This book was a great read from the very first word all the way to the very last word! I can’t wait to find out who the kiss thief is. I’m so excited for book three!! Ivy this is another phenomenal book!! I’m team Jacob!
