Anarchist: Book 1

Law Daniels is an ex army sniper who's come home to the Western town of Starling Wyoming to bury his family, who has been slaughtered and burned out for the land that has been in the Daniels family for generations. The local sheriff is on the take and refuses to do anything to catch the man responsible. The wealthy and unscrupulous Royce Davis.
Now Law finds himself the head of a band of disgruntled residents who have somehow decided that he should be their leader in chief.
He isn't really interested in anything else but seeking vengeance for the blood of his family, but somehow he keeps getting sucked in. Now he's faced with the care of the young girl that crawled onto his place in the early morning hours after being worked over pretty good.
He can't turn her away, but can he resist her while he tries to protect her?

4.5 THAT IS MESSED UP STARS

The heroine is beaten by her father and so she runs off into the hero's anti establishment Bike Club. It's an "unofficial club" founded by the hero to try and right the wrongs done to his family by the City's corrupt public officials.
It seems that everyone was in on the corruption. From the police chief to the mayor! So the heroine is to be a pawn in this game but she refused and so as a result seeks the refuge of the hero's club.
He takes one look at this sweet innocent and knows he must protect her and makes changes to his life to include her!
This is just the first part. Many more to come as we see how this couple (and the couples around them) deal with all the challenges and adjust to life together.

A great first book.

Sadly I have been told that KU no longer offers this book!

Safety: no cheating but loads of OW drama with the club sheep (worker/whore) and OM with her forced on her fiancé.

Promising start to a good series. And with kindle unlimited it's free. So why not.
The hero is trying to right a wrong and the heroine is struggling to stay alive. They both need each other but they don't know it yet.
Hope it stays this good.

Another hot, sexy, possessive alpha male from Jordan Silver. Lawton Daniels came home from fighting for our country when he got a call saying his parents & baby sister were murdered. Luckily his younger brother, Kyle was still alive, he wasn't home at the time the murdered happened. Now he's pissed & wants revenge against Royce Davis, the man who was behind his family's murder. Royce is rich & wanted the family's land when he was told no he did the unthinkable & the corrupt Sheriff won't do anything about it. One day a young woman crawls her beaten & bloody body on to Law's land asking for help. Dana Sue is 18 years old & has just returned home from the boarding school she's attended since she was twelve. When she got home her dad told her that Royce Davis was the one who paid for her schooling & in return she has to marry him the next day. Dana refuses to marry a man older than her father that she doesn't even know so her father beats her badly.

I love this introduction to Law and his crew. Dana is a mess (and her parents are just horrible), the whole situation just stinks. This was a quick introduction to the guys and their MC and a great beginning to the series by Jordan Silver!

LAW and DANA

Jordan Silver is fast becoming one of my favorite authors to read, and I’m so sure I’m going to love this series. It’s rustic, heated, over-the-top, with real danger, a man driven by revenge and hate, a motorcycle club in a law-less land.

This book is essentially an introduction to Law Daniels and Dana Sue and the beginning or their something bigger and romance.
It’s about Law and his revenge, his life, his terrible past, and his club, who is finds himself the leader of. It’s about Dana Sue, her trauma, her fear, and her future. It’s about their lives that get entangled and pulls her into his world and makes her fall in love with it.

As the blurb says, Law is an ex-army sniper, who came home to bury his family, who were murdered at the hands of one of the unscrupulous men of the town, and corrupt cops.

He finds himself nominated as a leader of a motorcycle gang, of the residents of the town, good men who hate the corruption and want to make a difference.
His only agenda is to keep his town safe and get revenge for his family.

When Dana Sue crawls into his compound, abused, beaten and barely hanging on, begging for help, he knows that he will do whatever it takes to make her feel safe and deal with the people who made her such. Although he doesn’t realize it, his possessiveness and care towards her is pretty evident

As it turns out that she is connected to his enemy and that just makes it that’s much easier to use her to hammer another nail into his enemy’s coffin.

Law is not sweet at all. He is rough around the edges, brusque and downright rude. He is not a man of flowery words, romance or even sophistication, the ultimate bad boy and Dana Sue has been groomed to be a rich man’s wife, soft-spoken and she is extremely fearful in this book, the perfect good-girl.
I imagine that will change later. LOL

“Look here, you came to me remember? Now if you want my help, you’re gonna have to stop the flinching shit or I’ll leave you as you are.”

There are many side characters who I’m sure will have more to offer in the upcoming book, and I’m totally here for it.

Promising start...

Good background work laid for a potentially promising start to this story.

Law - strong loner type - finds himself back home after serving in the army and at the head of a biker gang - who are know to the locals as more of "Avenging Angels" as opposed to "Hell's Angels" - not exactly sure what he looks like but the fMC seems to think he's attractive.

Dana - just returned home from 6 yrs away at boarding school - only to be told that she is to marry Royce Davis - the local bad guy, who is older than her father. She refuses - and the story is what happens next and how Law becomes involved in this drama.

Really not enough meat in this - but might take a chance and read the series at a later date - a definite MAYBe

I like,I like, I really like

So I am not sure if Ms. Silver's new serial format is good or not. The hot alpha guy for the hero that works every time. I will be buying the next one when it comes out. I just hope it has some hot sexy action in it.

this quickie came to my attention when i was reading jordan silver's SEAL Team Seven #5. it's a quickie and introduces law and his makeshift mc family. the cliffhanger at the end will probably keep me reading until the end of the series because law's effervescent personality has me hooked.

I just wish there was more of a description of each character. It's hard to picture them when there isn't a description of the males. Some small talk of the ladies bodies, maybe hair, or eye color. But not enough in my opinion.
