I must be the minority here but what in the world was up with those cabbage patch kids looking things on the front of each chapter? This was supposed to be an MC book not a kids book unless I read the wrong one? Honestly, it gave me the creeps every time I flipped through.
The plot was OK, however the writing needs a lot of work. I'm not sure if this is the author's first book or not, but I would suggest finding a content editor and reliable friends that can help you fix your story better. There were parts that had way too much inner dialogue. I was rolling my eyes and skimming the pages just to get to see what happened at the end.
I can't say that I would recommend this one. Sorry

Mixed emotions

I loved the bones of this story but felt a little lost in places. The passage of time is not always clear. Did just a day pass or have we moved forward weeks? Also the H & h seem to only have balls to make mistakes. They never make any real effort to fix anything ! Once something is wrong they just let life lead them, never really trying to get back to each other. The H makes some huge decisions (more than once) that change their lives. Years pass with the h's life going to pieces. He is just floating along, but saying he misses her and regrets his decision. He does not try to fix it. YEARS pass! YEARS! With NO contact between h & H or h &her family. Years and no one goes to see her? Really? How important could she be? Then something happens, they see each other and all is forgiven! Just like that! No anger, no resentment, no making him pay! ? I have never met this girl! She drove me crazy doing this over and over. It was like she was a very strong girl/woman except with the H. Then all of a sudden she had no backbone. It all made me flip flop on my feelings for the book. At points it was so bad I had to force myself to continue reading.

Scenes like rape should be put as a warning. That being said, I didn't feel comfortable to continue reading. To each it's own and if you know me, I hate hate rape scenes.

So I 30% liked it /70% hated it...
Liked : Hea, Babies, steamy scenes, hot hero, sweet heroine, and intriguing storylines (I wanted to know how it would end
Hated : graphic rape scene which I did not read (WTF who Would wanna read that?), blurry timeline, tstl moments (like he loves her but ghosts her for 2 y, and she loves him but marries someone else and does not tell him they have twins, and her whole loving family is okay with not having seen her for 2years?!?!)
I don't know if I will read more from this serie

I had the privilege of reading an ARC for this book in return for an honest review…

Well to start....this book F@$%ING ROCKS. If you love dirty talking, alpha male, bad boy bikers who can melt your panties off than this is the book for you. Wayward Angels takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions with Anslie and Brantley’s story. They meet when she is 16 and immediately have a connection that makes you want to go back and fall in love for the first time. They are forced apart by the MC Prez (Anslie’s father) and the VP (Brant’s father), which really makes you want to throw your kindle/book and tell them to “F” the rules. The story is well put together and its keep you interested until the end. You start to feel the emotions that are being played out in the book.…It sucks you in and doesn’t let go until the very last word. There are twist and turns that I did not see coming, but boy did I have a white-knuckle grip on my e-reader. Anslie and Brantley go through a rough time but eventually get to their HEA……

Can’t wait to see what else K. Renee comes out with. She will forever be a 1-click for me. K. Renee you totally rock girl! I really need Book #2 like yesterday!

This was pretty good for a debut novel and although some of the elements of the story have been done before, it was a fast read...enjoyable when it was funny and witty...intense and ugly when things got violent and cruel. There was a fair amount of abuse towards women and even children to some degree in this story, but I suppose in a book about rough men who live outside the law...this would be expected.
The MC members were stereotypical as far as other biker books go..and the club antics (beatdowns and clingy club whores) were also more of the same, although "sweet" Prez's daughter Anslie stood up against some mean bitches and let them have it.
I always like a story of forbidden love and this was no exception...you just KNEW Ansley and Brantley would find their way to each other one way or another before the book was through and it was an awesome ending after all the turmoil and deception.
A pretty fast-paced and thrilling page-turner for biker romance readers who don't mind scenes of abuse and rape and slight cheating.

**** 4 **** "and baby makes four" stars

HOLY CRAP this was a good book...I cant even believe how hooked I was on this book.... I was given this for an honest review. I was absolutely hooked into this story from beginning to end. I fell head over heels in love with these characters
Anslie has been living with her mother since she was 5 years old living in hell basically and things go from bad to worse. She decides to finally call her father who is the MC president of his club The Wayward Saints and he takes her away from her mother and she meets Brantly who is absolutely off limits. First off because she is the Prez's daughter and second because she is underage..
This was such a good read once I picked it up I could not put it down. This is hot and sexy and such a good read. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! cant wait for the next book in this series!!!!!

I'm torn as how to rate this so I will go with 3.5 stars.

I love MC stories and I've had this story for awhile. The things I like: Casey - she was a great friend. The two "smaller" characters. The tattoo later in the story.

What I didn't like: how every time they came in contact again, it was like nothing was ever wrong and he hadn't walked away again and again. All these two did was f$@k. I love a sexy story, but I need the story too. I the way he treated other women - horrible. I want my male character to redeem themselves but Brantley never did.

It wasn't a horrible book, I kept reading, but to be honest I'm not sure if I'll carry on with the series as this one just didn't grab me.

OK so I read this book in one day and I liked it but just didn't fall in love with it. Now the premise of the story was great and I mean that sincerely but the execution of it was where it fell short. The writing just didn't do this story justice! Not sure if any beta readers helped out and/or an editor but it was in need of all of those things for sure. I hope in the future the author uses those "tools" because otherwise a really good story underneath!!!!

I will definitely be checking out the next book in this series because I like all the characters in this book an look forward to reading their stories as well.

I was in a major book funk and nothing could pull me in but as soon as I started this book I was hooked.

Wayward Angels takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions with Anslie and Brantley’s story. They meet when Anslie is 16 but Brantley's told he needs to stay away from her and gets sent away. Do they find there way back to each other?

I loved watching Anslie's life, some parts were heartbreaking.Every time you thought the crisis was over another came along.

If you like MC romance then this will not disappoint. This is a well written MC novel!!

Very good start to series

This book will have you talking to it because you'll want to tell Anslie and Brantley what to do. They make so many mistakes doing crazy stuff. They will come to regret it for sure because you can't go back in time. Very good book with steamy scenes, angst, family and second chances.

While Wayward Angel may not be one of my favorite books it was very well written. I could feel the fear that Anslie had living with her mother. Was happy when her dad and her brothers came for her. Not sure if being raised in a biker club is good for her, but at least she is getting a lot of built in protection. Anslie's getting a chance to go to college with her friend is a great opportunity. Thought Anslie was gonna be okay marrying Charlie and that it would be good for her and the babies, hated that he turned into such a jerk. Was glad to see Anslie and the twins get rescued. Not give the ending away, but suffice to say it was very eventful.

Hands Down one of the best MC books I have read. Great Job to K. Renee. Every time you thought the crisis was over another came along. This book kept me at the edge of my seat and even thinking that Anslie and Brantley were never going to get together. And Remy and Sev aren't they the cutest. Brantley is always running when something happens but not with Remy and Sev he knows that he should have never left his girl and he will fight to the end to save them. You just have to read this book; I don't recommend I demand you to read this it is that good.

~~~~Sarah's ✭✭✭✭✭ Review~~~~
This book was not at all what I expected but in the best way!
I won't lie it started out a little cliche, innocent young girl, troubles at home, meets hot bad boy who is her savior blah blah blah. Then BOOOOMMMMMMMM it happens!
What was at first a cliche young love becomes an epic, gut-wrenching, enduring love story for the ages. As much as he tried to fight it Brantley just had to give in to his love for Anslie. It couldn't be denied. Watching them resist what was so painfully obvious to us me as a reader was hard. But the pay off was worth it!
This book had all the best parts of an MC book, there was violence, sex, a little bit of drugs and K. Renee's biker lingo was spot on! Definitely worth a read! Can't wait to see what's next!
~~~Dee's ✭✭✭✭✭ Review~~~

OMG!! This is so f....ing hot and intense and amazing! Putting the sex scenes aside, the story is so mind boggling, surprises at every turn, breathtaking, sizzling and loving. Can't think of enough adjectives to describe the roller coaster ride of this story. It was easy reading, fast paced, beautiful believable characters, heart stopping action. I have not been a fan of motorcycle club stories but I absolutely loved this one. The suspense kept me hooked from beginning to end. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review and I urge every serious reader to jump into this book. You'll be glad you did! Five Stars!

Christ on a cracker, if I was Anslie I wouldn’t have left the house! No matter what she did or where she went, she always found/attracted trouble! Although I did enjoy this book and I was drawn in, there were a few things that had me like ‘’Huh, What, Why’’.

They were:
1. Why did she start dating Charlie and then marry him?! – He was horrible to her a few chapters earlier. He referred to her as a ‘’dirty biker whore’’

2. Anslie is in the middle of escaping from her abusive husband, and then she just stops and has sex with Brantley. She is supposed to be in a rush to escape before Charlie comes back. Surely you would wait till you and your babies are in a safe place?

3. Steve her stepfather popped up at last minute, for a while I was left thinking ‘’wtf is Steve doing there’’ & ‘’is this the same Steve from chapter one’’

I liked Brantley but I wanted to shout at him to pull his head out of his ass and go and get his woman! Instead he slept with some whiney bitch and spent his days drinking and having sex. If he truly loved Anslie, and felt guilty for what she was put through, he wouldn’t have been dropping his pants for the first woman he seen.
Every time I found myself enjoying the story and being able to follow it, the story suddenly jumps to years, months, weeks later and I am back to trying to understand and follow what is going on in Anslie’s life.

Despite this, will I read the other books in the series? Yes I will.

Scared of what of her mothers boyfriend coming into her room at night, Anslie makes the decision to call her older brother and tell him what is happening. It isn’t long until Anslie’s biker president father and her four older brothers come and rescue her, taking her back home with them. Now safe and happy in a new house and school, she soon makes friends with Casey a girl from school.
Brantley wants Anslie as soon as he see’s her but as soon as he finds out that she is his prez’s daughter and that she is only sixteen, he knows she is out of bounds and he has to stay away. But the more Brantley spends time with Anslie the more he falls for her. But life isn’t easy and the universe seems to be working against Brantley and Anslie. First their fathers’ separate them, when they finally reunite all is going well until Anslie is attacked by an enemy of his. Leaving Anslie to deal the aftermath of what happened to her, Brantley throws himself into booze, sluts and sex. A few years pass and it comes to light that Anslie, the woman he still loves is in trouble. Determined to rescue her and keep her safe, he gets the shock of his life when he comes face to face with her again, but now he has Anslie and her two little surprises will he be able to keep them safe?

Wayward Angel (Wayward Saints MC #1) by K. Renee (Goodreads Author)

Anslie Davoli’s mother took her away from her father the president of the Wayward Saint’s MC when she was just five years old. Now sixteen she is living a miserable life with her junkie mother and fears for her safety daily. She contacts her dad and four brothers to come get her from her mother.

Anslie couldn’t be happier to get away from her mother and step dad. Moving with her father and brothers is a dream come true. Especially when she sets her eyes on Brantley Insico the hot as hell biker who makes her panties melt with one look.

Brantley Insico was born and breed within the Wayward Saints MC. His dad is the VP and all his brothers are part of the club. The MC life is all he knows, his family and his club is where loyalties lie. He doesn’t plan to have an old lady anytime soon. Until he attends a casual, club family barbeque and sets his sights on Anslie. She is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen and he will do anything to have her. As luck would have it, Anslie is Prez’s daughter so that makes her off limits, but Brantley still can’t help wanting her. She just might be worth the risk.

This book contains, rape, kidnapping, sex, drugs and abuse.

Brantley is one sexy alpha male character. He is living the life of a typical biker he has sex with random whores, drinks at the clubhouse and is loyal to his MC. He had no desire to settle down he has plenty of time for that. Besides, there has never been a woman who has turned his head enough to make him want more than the fun life he is living. Anslie changes that from the moment they meet.

Anslie and Brantley’s story was fascinating and enthralling. There were twists and turns that had me glued to the page. They both try to fight their attraction but the pull to be together was inevitable. I enjoyed how their relationship began as friends though we know both of them want more but don’t make a move to go for it. When they are separated, fate brings them back together and the sparks fly again. This couple had chemistry by the boatloads and was made for each other. The background characters of Casey, Anslies best friend and her brothers and Brantley’s brothers all made for a well-rounded story. I hope to be reading more from these side characters as well.

Told in alternating POV’s the story was well written, and the author did an excellent job addressing domestic violence and drug abuse and how it ruins lies.

I can’t wait to read the next books in the series I highly recommend.

Wayward Angel (Wayward Saints #1) is the first book in a brand new series by K. Renee. It appears that each book will be a standalone in this series but with the added of bonus of staying in touch with the previous couples in which I love.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and although, I have some mixed emotions about it, I can honestly say that it won’t be the last book either. I read this book in one day and it had me engaged from the start. I thought the premise of the storyline had truly great potential but the execution of it for me fell very short. I am not sure if there were any beta readers and/or an editor working with the author but I would strongly urge the use of these “tools” in the future because with the right “help” this could have been really a great read.

The unfortunate part of this story was the flow, it was choppy and all over the place. I had a hard time following the timeline in which was laid out and it’s too bad because again, a great storyline underneath it all, but the story lacked a true “coming together” and although I did “feel” a connection amongst the characters, the writing just didn’t enforce that feeling if that makes sense.

I really did enjoy the H and the h and their road to a harmonious relationship was anything but easy. This story had drama, betrayal, lies, angst, yes, this story had it all but I just wish a few of their “issues” had played out differently for me personally. I felt that their relationship was as choppy as the writing at times and the issues that came up and obstacles that they faced were never dealt with and resolved properly for my standards. I liked both Brantley and Ainslie a lot but I also had a hard time with quite a few of their decisions along the way but that’s just my own personal feelings. They, together, had great potential as a couple and don’t get me wrong, I loved them by the end but it was the paths that they took to get there that wasn’t ok for me nor did it make sense either.

I have to say that all in all, I really did like this story, I just didn’t love it but with the right guidance, I think this series has the potential to emerge into something great. The secondary characters were all engaging and very interesting and I truly look forward to seeing where they all end up. I am definitely planning to continue with this series and look forward to watching it grow along with this cast of characters. I think this author and this series has a solid future and I, for one, plan to cheer them all on!

While I didn't hate it, I didn't love it either. As a fan of this genre, the story has everything I want in a MC book. The bad as$ bikers, angst, drama and violence to round it out. Wayward Angel is first in the Wayward Saints series which introduces us to the club and it's family members.

Anslie is the President of the club's daughter and had a pretty rough start before she got to her dad's place. Stuck with a drug addicted whore of a mother, the exact thing you wouldn't want to happen to your kid is about to, so Anslie calls her dad to come get her. She also has four older brothers and knows she will be safer at the club than home with her mother. As she arrives, Anslie is instantly fresh meat at the clubhouse catching the eye of all the guys. Especially Brantley. He is absolutely smitten with the girl, but knows she off limits as she's the princess, not to mention only sixteen years old.

Brantley is a club man, son of the VP and no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to stay away from Anslie. He wants her and she isn't helping the situation but constantly showing she wants him too. Club rules are rules, Brantley breaks them, he's gonna have to pay, so he stays only a phone call or text away. After numerous rescues, Brantley can't hide his feelings for the beautiful girl, until his Prez takes care of the situation himself.

That's where the S really hits the fan. Anything bad that could happen does to Anslie. Again, she has four protective older brothers, plus a big bad MC President as a father, however she's constantly in some kind of trouble. I found that a bit much as I read, compiled with the final situation she finds herself in while in Seattle I was ready to throw in the towel. She was very immature and every move she made showed it. I wanted Anslie to stand up for herself every so often. To quit getting walked on by any guy she is associated with, Brantley included.

It was a frustrating read. Immature and unbelieveable at times, yet sucked me right back in with all of the supporting characters. There's something here and I am going to move on to book two and see if I can find it.

Anslie is the youngest child, and only daughter of Cason, president of the Wayward Saints Motorcycle Club. Anslie’s mom took her and left Vegas for Miami when she was five. Now she’s sixteen and between her mom wanting her to “tag team” clients with her and her step-dad having a bit too much interest in her, she’s scared and has reached out to her dad. Dad and her four older brothers would do anything to protect her, so they take her back to Vegas and the MC.

Brantley is a member of the Wayward Saints MC and one of four sons of the VP. He’s been best friends with Robbie, one of Anslie’s brothers, all his life. When he meets the Prez’s daughter, that he had no clue existed, he knows it’s against the laws of the club, but he can’t help but have strong feelings for her. Feelings that, even after being separated by the club and years of not seeing each other, don’t go away.

I believe this is the first book by this author and I think it has a lot of potential. The premise of the story is different enough to catch my interest, but it needs some polishing. That could because I read an unedited version, which could be the basis for some of my hesitations. I found some problems with the antagonists that appear in the beginning of the story and don’t reappear until the end of the story. Then we find out they are suddenly related to another antagonist who has appeared throughout the story. The way the relationship was mentioned seemed to be thrown in as a last minute thought. Another antagonist pops up all of a sudden in one chapter, but is never mentioned again. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the story, I just feel the author needs to polish it up and make some things clearer to the reader (such as the fact that Brantley is a twin, which I suspected, but didn’t learn for sure until almost the last chapter). I am interested in reading the next book to see how she grows as a writer and I wish the best for her. I give this book 3.5 stars with 3.5 hands down the pants.

Trials of life and so much more.!

Anslie has had an up and down life. Until she was five years old she has the family she loves. Her mom and dad, the President of the Wayward Saints MC, and four older half-brothers. Then one day her mom ups and drags her away. Life wasn't the same. Her mom prostitutes her self out, stays strung out on drugs, and spends all of the child support money on different boyfriends and then on the one her mom shacks up with. She has a harsh life. Trying to avoid the revolving door of men and then her mom's own boyfriend. She calls her dad and he along with her four grown-up biker brothers come and rescue her. They take her back to Vegas ,the only place she has ever felt happy and safe. She has her family back.
Brantley Insico has grown up in the Wayward Saints MC . His dad is the VP and his three brothers are members also.He loves the life. Lots of booze and with the whole bad boy biker thing going on, lots of women. Not a one he wants to keep, sweet butts. Club women.
From the minute Brantley lays eyes on Anslie he wants her. With a physical attraction so heated he can hardly contain himself. Anslie is attracted to Brantley, but with her past, it is more of a slow simmer. Brantley knows this can't happen. She's only sixteen and the Prez's daughter. He knows she is hands off. But the more they are brought together , the more they are attracted to each other. With a few stolen kisses and soft spoken words they are fighting an uphill battle.
This non-couple has so many life altering curves thrown in their way over years. She's sent away to school. He's sent away on club business. Somehow they are always drawn back together and reconnect. Fate or a train wreck?
This is a great read! It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I screamed at my kindle and wanted to pull their hair out. I am anticipating the next one.
K. Renee great job. You have a devoted fan in me. Thank you for your hard work!

We meet Anslie as a teenager living with her worthless mother scared for her life. Her father is the President of a motorcycle club, leaving her with her mother for a chance at a normal life. Her mother saw it as a burden I believe. Her mother is acting as if she is still a teenager herself. Anslie's life is horrible and terrifying.

Brantley is in the MC and meets Anslie shortly after she comes to live with her father and brothers. The attraction to her is instant but she is off limits. He protects her the best he can while she is living with her father and tries to keep her close to his side.

They get to a point where fighting it is hard, they don't want to and cant any longer. At such a young age, Anslie doesn't really know what she wants or needs but she has never felt what she feels for Brantley before and she likes the way he makes her feel when they are together.

Brantley's father sees the destruction that could lead to his son being involved with the President's daughter so he sends Brantley away.

Years pass and these two end up at the same club, Anslie now of age and away from the Club makes it easier for Brantley to decide that he wants her and hes not stopping until he has her. Their time together does come to be problematic but both don't want it to end. When a club rival goes after Anslie, Brantley immediately distant himself, blaming himself for not being able to protect her.

More years go until these two are pushed together again. Brantley is one alpha that gets his way. I loved how he came back for Anslie as if there hadn't been years in between the time they had been together. I loved how he wanted to protect her. I loved Anslie's relationship with her brothers. I loved that we met Brantley's brothers and there were there for him. I couldn't put this book down until the end. K's writing kept me wanting more until I knew these two were going to be alright.

If you like Bad Boy, Dirty Talking, Dominant, Sexy Bikers .. this series is a MUST READ..

This is Ainsley's and Brantley's Book..

We first meet Ainsley at 16years old, she is living with her evil mother who treats her like crap. One night after one of her mothers boyfriends try's it on with her she's had enough, she locks herself in her room and calls her dad to come rescue her..

Her Dad is the President of the Wayward Saints Motor Cycle Club and her older brothers are all also members.. they all turn up to rescue her and take her to live with them in Vegas.

One day at a club BBQ she meets the very sexy biker Brantley, there is an instant attraction between them but as the Prez's daughter and at only 16years old she is off limits to Brantley..

They become really close the more time they spend together and end up seeing each other in secret.. which can only end badly.

This book is set over a few years and in that time they are torn apart when her dad finds out about them being together,,,, Dangers and life get in the way of them being together and living in different states they drift apart..

Throughout the book they have a rollercoaster relationship and go through a load of heartache... What I loved was that even though over years of being apart and many problems, their love for each other always brings them back together ..

The only thing I found hard was the kidnap and rape stuff.. but it was a main factor in the plot.. and made the characters and their relationship stronger..

I loved the brothers and all the club members, they are like one big family and would kill for each other....

A really great book from a new upcoming author, it had a few minor problems but nothing that took away how great the book was..... K.Renee has the talent to become a top best selling author

I loved this story although there were some details that bothered me. the first half of the story was great and I loved Brantley... the second part was okay what bothered me was the fact that Anslie started to date the guy that told her she was a biker whore and that if he had know that he would have F''çkd her sooner.. I mean come on girl did you fall on your head? the second where the hell was her family in those 3 years? her so protective father and brothers? they knew nothing about Severye (never heard of that one before btw) and Remington. I mean what the contact suddenly was broken off? and then the fact that she should have run the moment she knew that Steve and Charlie were related... Also In most biker books the Old lady's are respected and it means a whole lot more to be an Old Lady than a ring on your finger.. Just in this book it was nothing and Kendall (who I did not like) but still was cast aside with a snap of the finger.. I mean why the hell did you make her your old lady if you never were gonna commit to it? being an 'Old Lady' is almost sacred.. you don't take a girl as an Old Lady just to wait until your true Old Lady comes back... also Brantleys mom did not even know who R&S belonged to and thought it could have been Kendall so the whole family band lacked for me. I did love the book It just felt like a lot of stuff was missing.. Like I would have loved to see how Anslie healed after Damien and how she maybe visited Robbie in the hospital..and more importantly why the last 3 years of Anslie live no family was there for her or contacted her...I mean they did not even know that she was married.
