Catch Me

Rate this book
“Whenever or wherever she needs me, I will always catch her.”

Two years after a humiliating public incident, I’m ready to get back on my feet. It doesn’t matter that I’m a low-level assistant to the assistant of costume design at a major Hollywood Studio.

What matters is that I keep my head down, ignore the not-so-subtle verbal jabs from my new boss and work hard to make it past my ninety-day trial period.

But staying out of the spotlight becomes impossible when Hollywood darling Andreas Knight singles me out during one of his fittings.

Andreas’s stunning green eyes and chiseled jawline are as hypnotizing in person as they are on screen.

What the cameras fail to pick up is how relentless he is when he wants something. Whether it’s a starring role in the next blockbuster film, a top endorsement, or …me.

If Andreas wants it he gets it.

He manages to knock down all of the barriers I’ve put up to keep us distant, one by one. And soon our chemistry goes beyond flirtations and smoldering looks to reveal the man beneath the Hollywood image.

Andreas makes me feel safe enough to reveal the passions I had before they were stomped out by my family’s version of success.

But, as usual, when the life I want is within reach, the rug is pulled from beneath my feet. The chaos of Hollywood and my past interrupts our relationship. And I end up in the spotlight I never asked for.

Will I choke again or will Andreas be there to catch me?

Catch Me is the fourth book in the Townsend Legacy series. It features a Hollywood superstar and the new-to-Hollywood assistant to the assistant of costume design who is working to break free of the old negative beliefs and a panic disorder to become who she's meant to be.

Another absolutely obsessed Townsend Man. Sign me UP! I don’t usually love reading about celebrities or Hollywood in romance novels, but I have been loving the books I’ve listened to by Tiffany Patterson and I knew Andreas was going to be GOOD.

I really felt for Ivy and her anxiety and desire to live out her dreams felt nostalgic in a way. Like a rom coms I used to watch back in the early 2000s. I’m not saying this book was trying for comedy, I just mean it had that feeling of a girl working her ass off and her girls rooting for her and catching the eye of the lead actor and killing it at what she does. That’s what was holding my attention.
Then there’s Andreas Knight AKA Townsend who is acting in the production Ivy is working as an assistant costume designer on. Interactions between them are supposed to be minimal and she wasn’t supposed to fraternize with him at all. But when a Townsend man sets his sights on you… he will pull out all the stops.

I appreciated how Ivy’s anxiety and PTSD were handled and I loved how Andreas always supported her and stepped in when she needed it, even sometimes before she knew how to ask for it.
This was narrated in duet by Wesleigh Siobhan & Ryan West. They did a wonderful job.

4.5 Stars
3 on the spice scale.

The fourth book in the series takes place on the West Coast. This time it’s time for Andreas Townsend, aka Andreas Knight. He has been flexing his acting chops since he got his big break as a teen. While in the midst of his biggest role of his career, someone catches his eye on the set. Of course, the lady in question is Ivy Sterling.
Ivy Sterling recently moved to Los Angeles after finally leaving her belittling and toxic family. She has landed a new job as the assistant to the assistant costume designer for a prominent movie set. While working on the set with a nightmare of a boss, she runs into the lead star, Andreas Knight. What seems like a chance meeting between our main couple begins to turn into so much more.
I don’t want to reveal any major twists, but I will say that both Ivy and Andreas have quite a journey. Ivy is actively working on her overall self-worth due to past trauma while also battling her growing feelings for Andreas. However, Andreas was letting her go so easily. The story was full of humor, family drama, and a steamy romance that went beyond. Of course, it is also a treat checking in on the ever-growing Townsend clan. I will also say that Andreas and Ivy really complement each other, especially in areas where they needed it most. Of course, there are a couple who were in the running for the worst on my list. With that being said, the author didn’t let them off the hook. Two of my other favorite characters would happen to be Ivy’s BFFs. They were both hilarious and formed a real sisterhood, which she was lacking in her own family. Overall, I love this story, and it was a great addition to the Townsend. I already have a few theories about several characters and am patiently looking forward to seeing if they actually played out.

Another Townsend kid finds love.

Andreas was all about Ivy from the moment he saw her! Ivy who deals with panic attacks is reluctant to get involved with Andrea’s and has tons of anxiety and negative thoughts that she has to work through, but sweet Andreas is there every step of the way.

Ivy has a great group of friends which made me happy to see and of course the Townsend crew is there as well. I liked Ivy and Andreas a lot and their story was just really sweet with Ivy finally having a few moments of strength in the end. Also no third act breakup, automatically making this a winner for me.

I would’ve liked to see more consequences for people like Rebecca and those parents, but a las can’t have everything I want.

Check this one out!

This is the fourth book in this series, and this is Andreas and Ivy’s story.
Ivy has recently moved to Los Angelas, for a fresh start away from her toxic and belittling family and is the low-level assistant to the assistant of costume designs at a Hollywood studio. Andreas is a Hollywood darling, and the new lead in a movie, and Ivy catches his eye, and he is relentless in his pursuit of what he wants.
This is a well written easy to read story, with family dynamics, friendships, emotions, drama, forbidden, workplace romance, twists and turns, humor, witty banter, self-esteem issues, vulnerability, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable, page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Excellent

Yes, another great instalment with the Townsends 😍. Excellent storytelling, with full believable characters that you can't help but fall in love with. My one complaint is how long we have to wait for the next instalment. I recommend you will not be disappointed.

Catch Me is Townsend Legacy Book 4 and the story is well told. This is Andreas Townsend and Ivy Sterling's story. Andreas is a superstar and Ivy is new to Hollywood assistant to the assistant clothes designer on set. Their attraction is instant, but Ivy tries to distance herself from Andreas. Read Catch Me, and see how Andreas shows Ivy that she's his Future. Watch what he does to anything, that threatens it!!! I adore Tiffany Patterson's books. They are unforgettable just like her characters!❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Loving the second generation!

This series has been one of my favorite series but keeping up with whose children are whose is going to be hard. Could you please create a chart for each brother's children? I sure everyone would love that especially now that the children are having children. Ivy's family of over achievers was sad and to think there are parents like that in the world. I loved these two people together. Thank you for this series.

obvious booktok catering…

First off I would like to say that I follow and devour if not all but many of TP’s books. I love her writing and the difference in her female characters. And this book was no different. I loved the backstory to the main fmc. But unfortunately that’s honestly where my love this book ends. The mmc was not fleshed out enough for me. The book hinted at him wanting to live outside of the townsend name but other than the last name change we didn’t get much from that storyline. However, this wasn’t my main gripe.

My main issue with this book is the obvious catering to the booktok world. There’s many many women who read as an escape which is TOTALLY fine but the inability to read romance books without imagining yourself as the main fmc is a problem. And the lack of character description for the black fmc makes me feel like the author is catering to that particular type of reader. And honestly, I think it cheapens the integrity of both the book and the author. TO ME as a reader I liked to be immersed in the world of the character, I don’t need to think of myself as one of the characters. I want the author to paint vivid pictures of both the characters and the world they live in. And if it’s not a character that matches my description that’s okay. It means you’re an awesome writer that I can imagine a completely new person in my head.

I love Tiffany’s books but I did not like the lack of character building for the mmc nor the lack of description when it came to the fmc. It all points to a wider trend that I am not a fan of, personally.

I so loved Catch Me by Tiffany Patterson and I didn't want to put it down but I have to because of something like sleep. That got in the way of reading Andreas and Ivy's story in one sitting. It's always a whole experience reading about one of the Townsend men falling hard and fast in love and the women that got their hearts. Because those men love wholeheartedly and unconditionally and defend what they love fiercely. And that's what happens to Ivy on her first work day. She never knew about the attention she attracted with her attitude, work ethic and confidence. And Andreas is mesmerized with her competence and looks. Ivy's caught of guard when he takes her side in a work situation and it was so good that he got her back from the start. Those two had the best way to get to know each other through their work and all those precious little moments. Andreas was so dreamy and swoony and at the same time fierce and scary when he defended the one he loved. And all those " my future" moments. Major swoon. Andreas and Ivy had that instant connection and undeniable attraction between them but the chemistry was of the charts. These two will overheat your Kindles. Loved it that Andreas helped Ivy maintain her mental health and supported her. But you don't want to be on the bad side of a Townsend. Just so you know. Those two got their happily ever after and helped each other fulfill their dreams and always catch each other when needed. Now I can't wait for the next Townsend story.

Side note : My inspiration for Ivy was Whitney Peak while Andreas stayed an elusive idea as you can see from the man on the cover .

Thanks to the author and WordSmith Publicity for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ loved it! great chemistry and characters, though a few moments didn’t fully hit. still highly recommend.
🌶️🌶️: mild spice, around 2 to 4 scenes, still tame sex scenes with a slight touch of kink and still romance focused

two years after a humiliating incident, ivy is trying to rebuild her life by keeping her head down at her hollywood studio job, but that plan unravels when movie star andreas knight takes an interest in her. his charm breaks through her defenses and their slow-burn attraction reveals a softer side beneath his celebrity image, giving ivy the confidence to rediscover the dreams her family crushed. just as she starts to believe in a future with him, hollywood chaos and her past collide, pushing her into unwanted attention and forcing her to decide whether she’ll fall apart again or trust that andreas will stand by her.

this book was so sweet yet incredibly emotional. ivy was a fave from the start and you have to support her with everything she’s been through, and i loved the way she grew her confidence again. andreas was the perfect man and the way he shows up for her made their connection feel so real. overall this was such a sweet, gentle romance with no third act breakup, and ivy’s strength made the ending feel so worth it.

the audiobook was so fantastic and the narrators really capture the emotional so well. thank you mla and tiffany of the early copy.

tropes: workplace romance, billionaire romance, actor mmc
triggers: abusive/toxic parents, death of a loved one, toxic boss

Absolutely Magnificent

OMG What a enjoyable story. I love the Townsend family past and present generation. It will make you cheer for this couple. I was so invested with these characters from the start they are exciting and so captivating. This one is very emotional there are parts that will have you talking to the characters. Andreas and Ivy relationship is really endearing and seductive with alluring tension that's completely satisfying! They have a passion and love which makes her learn what real love for a man is and I enjoyed Ivy character because she learn that it's okay to have a disorder and to get help from a therapist. But what comes next is plenty of conflict and of course this is where you find your heart breaking or at least it feels like it. Andreas Townsend who is actor and he's known as Andreas Knight is loveable, charming and very protective with that Townsend male possessive trait he feels that Ivy is his future even if she doesn't know it. Andreas let's Ivy know if she falls he will catch her 😍. Of course the secondary characters along with the tension and passion made this a extraordinary story. The ending had me cheering for the Townsend men of the family they made my heart happy. I can’t wait for there to be another story in this series I absolutely love all of stories related to the Townsends. I Highly Recommend Them All!

✨ARC Review✨

Ivy loves fashion 👗 but her family doesn’t support her dreams 💔. She’s working to break free from the pressure of their definition of success 💼 and from the grip of her panic disorder 😔 to become who she's meant to be 🌱. Ivy lands a job as low-level assistant to the assistant of costume design on a movie set 🎬 and during one of the fittings she meets Andreas Knights — a Hollywood actor 🌟 who is instantly drawn to her 💘. Andreas is charming, persistent and relentless when he wants something 🔥 and he wants Ivy.

Catch Me is the fourth book in the Townsend Legacy series 📚 and the first book I’ve read by this author — but it definitely won’t be the last 🙌. I really enjoyed this story 💖. The writing is strong ✍️, the pacing flows well ⏳, and the character development pulled me in right from the start 🎯. The chemistry between Ivy and Andreas was so good 💞. I liked how their relationship was built on trust, safety, and mutual support 🤝. I love how Ivy felt safe with Andreas 🫶 and how easily she trusted him, which made their bond feel real 💫. Andreas is incredibly supportive 💪, and it was heartwarming to see how patient and steady he was with her 🥹.

I love when Ivy opened up to Andreas about her panic disorder 🧠 and her family’s lack of support 🚫. That moment was so raw and emotional 😢, and it made their connection even deeper 💓. The way Andreas listened and supported her 🥺 and the way he stood up to her parents for her 🛡️ just made me love his character even more ❤️.

This book gave me all the feels 🥰 — romance 💕, vulnerability 🫣, trust 🧡, healing 🌼, connection 🔗, and a sense of growth between the characters 🌿. I’ll definitely be checking out the rest of the series 📖 and I highly recommend reading it! ✅

Thank You 🙏 to Tiffany Patterson and wordsmith for the ARC in exchange of my honest review!

Andreas Townsend reminds me of Tyler so much with how funny and how fast he pursued Ivy, the same way Tyler did with Destiny. He falls hard and first and reassures her every time he speaks that he wants her and loves her. He's smooth and charming, he takes this career seriously just like a typical Townsend man.

Ivy is an overachiever and people pleaser who was working on the balance of following her true passion while trying to find her voice, even if it feels hard at first.

Enjoyed the storytelling of Ivy and her panic disorder, with the growth of no longer feeling ashamed about it. It was slick, fun, trying to remember all of the next generation who were mentioned in the book before it was named, and who their parents were. The author seems to be teasing the next book or next story for Travis & Annalise, if you notice.

Aaron Townsend seemed to have softened up as he got older and his kids became adults. Who would've thought?

I wish we got more of Ivy on the job or even college courses she began taking again. Same with Ivy's relationship with Stephen (her brother) as well, since he was the only one to come to her fashion degree graduation and walk her down the aisle, given her family's rough relationship. ALSO WASN'T EXPECTING THE TWIST WITH THE FAMILY.

Not Miss Patterson's best work, I'm afraid. I was so disappointed because I enjoyed the other books in all the Townsend series.

I don't normally mind the insta love trope, but Ivy and Andreas' relationship just didn't feel earned. He saw her in a club and instantly became obsessed, then they have a few surface interactions and he's in love but it's never really clear why he became obsessed or fell in love so quickly. All of the mmc's in these books are cocky, but this is the first one whose cockiness annoyed me. Andreas was supposed to be this charming guy, but he just came off as smarmy.

Both main characters felt like non-entities. There was no depth to either of them, they were just the latest characters in a continuation of stories that have gotten a bit formulaic.

Lastly, Miss Patterson my want to consider hiring a new editor. There were usage and spelling errors that any editor worth their salt would have caught. I mean...how do you get George R. R. Martin's name wrong?? And how did that mistake get past the editor??

Ivy is out celebrating with her friends after escaping her parents and moving to LA from NY. She has a new position as an assistant to the assistant designer at Intuition Pictures. Nothing she did was ever good enough for her parents after the incident at her graduation. Andreas is the new lead in a movie with Intuition Pictures, and Ivy catches his eye. Despite Ivy thinking she isn't good enough for him, Andreas proves himself time and time again, coming to her aid when she needs it. It's the first time she has had anyone on her side who is genuinely there for her. Tiffany keeps you turning the pages with all the twists and turns that you dont see coming. You don't see that major twist at the end.
I received an arc for my voluntary honest review for NN Book Blog. If you love a love story with a difference, with an actor and his assistant designer, then you will love this book. Tiffany gives you all the feels with everything I go through.

The next book in the Townsend Legacy series is about Andreas and Ivy. Andreas is the son of Aaron and Patience. The twin of Thiers and a break out actor.

He meets Ivy on his latest film. Ivy who is one of the assistants on the costume design team. Ivy who has a BA and an MBA in business but has only ever wanted to work in fashion. Ivy who has panic disorder and who is still learning to live with the panic attacks that keep occurring at inconvenient times.

Andreas and Ivy fall in love. The book takes us through Ivy’s greatest embarrassment, the horrible treatment by her parents and sister Rose, and the self doubt she has. Then there’s the Townsend family full of love and devotion which is why I keep reading the books in this series.

I rated this book 3.5⭐️ because of the care and love that Andreas has for Ivy. Which is the best part of the book besides the secret and the pigs IYKYK. This was a fun and engaging read that I borrowed from Kindle Unlimited.

3.5⭐️

To rate a Tiffany Patterson book 3.5 stars especially when it’s a Townsend book is low for me. Personally I really liked Andreas and Ivy because they were such a cute couple, and I liked how they met and began their relationship, falling hard and fast for each other.

Andreas kept his life private so you didn’t really see much of the Townsend clan as the prior 3 books. The book wasn’t bad but it was rather predictable which made it rather boring. Andreas fell head over heels first, and yes Ivy was batting with whatever was happening at home, but it would’ve been nicer to see her in more of a baddie light. She was more of a good girl, even after she got help.

I must say though I have such a strong feeling Theirs’ book will be more emotional and gripping because no one knows what happened to him, and why he’s so closed off to love.

Overall, it was a good book but I fear it wasn’t my favourite. Kennedys legacy book will always hold a higher ranking.

Another Townsend sibling to Wow me!! Andreas is an actor starring in a movie that Ivy is a costume assistant on. The sparks fly when these two meet and become acquainted with each other. Ivy has a past that she would like to forget pertaining to her health and doubts her self-worth. Her family throws it in her face every chance they get. Andreas falls hard and stakes his claim in Ivy. Secrets are revealed, trust has begun, claims are made and introductions are done. The card game scene was SO FUNNY!! Ari and Mya are true friends from the door. I love how Andreas supports Ivy and gives her the recognition she deserves. Seeing all The Townsend Clan embracing each other and new "future" members of the family is what makes them special. Rebecca and Dennis got what they deserved. I'm SO READY for Theirs's story but I'm looking forward to the Wild Child Stasi's Story too lol.

I had the pleasure of receiving an ARC of this book, and I absolutely loved it! The writing was smooth, heartfelt, and kept me turning the pages. What stood out most was how the author made me fall in love with each and every member of the Townsend family all over again—Andreas and Ivy felt real and totally relatable, not to mention unforgettable. It’s the kind of story that stays with you long after the last page because of the trauma that Ivy experienced. It’s stuff that a lot don’t take seriously.. I’m happy that she had someone like Andreas by her side; he stood by her no matter what. After all she was ‘his future’ (swoon).

I’d definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a beautifully written, engaging read with hot scenes lol! Can’t wait for Theirs’ story!!

Ivy pulled me in right away, you can feel her struggle to keep her head down after everything she’s been through. I was rooting for her to find her confidence again, even when her boss kept making things harder. Then Andreas comes into the picture and wow—he is everything. Charming, relentless, but also protective in a way that made me melt.

The chemistry between them is so good, you can feel it building in every scene. What I liked most was how he saw her, not just as someone working behind the scenes, but as a woman with passions and dreams she had buried for too long. He gave her space to open up, but also pushed past the walls she built.

Of course, there’s drama—Hollywood chaos, her past catching up, and those moments where you wonder if she’ll let fear win. But Andreas always seemed to be right there, steady and sure, which made the romance feel even more powerful.

Ms Patterson had done it again!

I love Ivy and Andreas! I love her besties and I adore all of the Townsend family and friends. This novel was so good and fleshed out (like only Ms Tiffany can), I wanted to hunt down and end the people who made Ivy cry and suffer just like a Townsend would. But the fellas came through. I’m excited for the next series of stories. I hope they are like this one and the rest of this Dynasty. The only novel that I didn’t care for or finish was the one with Dae’s cousin and the snowboarder. I can’t recall the names or the exact book title, but it was the one before this. I just didn’t make a connection with the couple or the storyline. They felt like outliers or outsiders. Anyway, that’s not what this review is about. This one is highly recommended. Woohoo!

It was good to be back with the Townsend family again. This time we have Andreas who is a famous actor. He is attracted to Ivy right from the start, but due to her past, Ivy holds back and tries to distance herself.

But what the heart wants the heart wants, and their mutual attraction is undeniable. I enjoyed seeing Ivy being loved unconditionally by Andreas, with him building up her confidence slowly but surely.

While they had to overcome various challenges to get to their sweet ending, throughout it all Andreas and Ivy were always there for each other. This was definitely another amazing addition to the series.

Nice Read

ARC Review

Another look at a Townsend member, this time, the Hollywood star "Andreas Knight". Andreas meets his "future" Ivy on the set of his latest film, and he is immediately hooked. Ivy is a stylist on the set and is branching out on her own despite her family wanting her to go in a different direction. She's been berated and denigrated her entire life, and is finally making her own way and following her passion. Andreas sensed that she needs protection, and he jumps at the chance to do just that.
This story had good chemistry between the two main characters, and we also get updates from the rest of the Townsend clan. Worth a read.

Andreas Knight AKA Andrea Townsend is on the set on his new movie when he sees Ivy for the first time. Ivy who is a costume designer on set had just moved to LA from Michigan was dealing with some personal issues on her own and not looking to attract the attention of leading man. Andrea who won't take no for a answer decides that Ivy is who he wants to be and start pursuing her. This two start to fall on love but things from Ivy past start to a toll on Ivy and Andreas is determined to stop anyone who who is messing with his future wife. This was a easy sweet read perfect for a lazy afternoon.

What support and love should look like

I really loved Ivy and Andreas' story. I don't know what it feels like to suffer from panic attacks, but I have seen it up close. Ms. Patterson showed understanding, compassion, and empathy. I so enjoyed how Andreas knew and accepted his future immediately and fought for him, and Ivy. I admired how, as scared as she was, she continued to push forward. Her friends were a small but awesome group. Ms. Patterson continues to show us how Aaron evolves and how family is the foundation he built his life on. This is not just a good romance. This is an excellent story that I will reread.

I do enjoy the Townsend family series. All the men seem mostly normal until someone poses a threat to their women, then they go a little cray cray. My only problem with these books as with so many bwwm writers is the lack of attention to detail on editing, proper grammar, and correct use of words. At one point a person is described as intimidating Ivy when in fact the author meant imitating. Totally different word definitions and they are not interchangeable. Also there are more than a few instances where extra words are in the sentence, interrupting the flow, or the wrong pronoun is used, which therefor ascribes the action to the wrong person.

Love me some Townsend Men

I just love the protective nature of this family. Even though it seems like the women who capture the attention of these men can seem intense and all encompassing, I understand the desire to protect and to right all the wrong. The author completely displays the desperate need of each male to keep from smothering his lady with his intensity and ownership, while trying to allow her to keep her independence apart from him. I think that is the hardest part for any alpha male to exhibit, to learn to live with the separation of his breath and soul when she's away.

Ivy gets a job working for a film studio as an assistant to the assistant to the fashion designer where she meets the actor Andreas knight (aka Townsend) it’s love at first sight for him as with all the Townsend books but Ivy has a panic disorder and doesn’t know if dating someone in the limelight is a good idea. I really liked Andreas and ivy.
I would give it 5 stars but it’s quite predictable except I feel the book could have done a bit more with the characters, especially the twin thing although I’m sure Thiers will get his own book. He sounds all broody and dark like Gio (iykyk) which would be a nice switch up for TP.

Another book about a Townsend that warmed my heart!

Well most didn't know he was even a "Townsend"! However when it came down to claiming the woman be wanted and handling those that needed to be handled he was a true Townsend indeed. I loved how she just fit right in with the family too. i must admit I felt some type of way towards the parents oh and that sister too and the way they treated her. What was revealed explained it all! Still feel some type of way about them and if left up to me, they would have been left off the guest list. Is Theirs up next? Please, I am dying to know why he is living dangerously!!!
