When Mia and Justin move into Swingwood Estates, it seems like the perfect fresh start. Friendly neighbors, a beautiful home, and a chance to spend more time together. But something is unsettling about the Welcome Committee—they're way too enthusiastic, and the neighbors are charming in a way that feels forced. As Mia gets drawn in, old desires awaken, while Justin’s instincts tell him something’s wrong. What started as harmless fun quickly spiraled into obsession. Because in Swingwood, couples move in, but they never leave the same.
The Sixth Couple seduces with suspense, peeling back the perfect suburban facade to reveal secrets, obsession, and a chilling truth—you never really know your neighbors!
This story was quite interesting and held my attention because I have never read a story like this before. The characters were quite intriguing and played their roles. Swingwood has many deep dark secrets. This author has quite an imagination in which I am here for it!! Good Read, Hands Down!!!
I really loved this book , the pacing, the omnipresence, the plottttttt, the suspense, everything kept me hanging on to every page. I like a book where the smut doesn’t dominate the plot and this is exactly that. I will say, as someone that dislikes repetition, I think the foreshadowing was too much at times, but bearable. I think if we were more left in the dark from specific povs, the “thriller” part would have came to more of a surprise. I also wouldn’t have questioned why they went forward w certain things despite the vibes being “off”. But overall I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and hopefully hearing more from the town of Swingwood !

I started this book at 5:28 pm and when i say i FLEW through this book, i flew because i jst finished it at 11:57 pm. I will definitely be reading more of Bre Coleman's book. if you're looking for a thriller with short chapters and under 300 pages, look no further this book is for you. It will have you hooked from beginning to end.
I’ve tried to finish this book and I just couldn’t. I literally feel as if this book was dragged out. I’m chapter 33 and It’s only been a week in the life of the characters. The storyline isn’t enough for me to keep reading.
I stepped into The Sixth Couple with my eyes wide shut, ready for whatever this piece of literatures decided to serve me and baby, this book did not come to play. I was pleasantly ambushed by how this plot unraveled… layer by layer, secret by secret, like the author was whispering, “Sit down, and get all this tea baybeeeeee!!!!
And that twist…. Owweeeee . It was giving messy, delicious, voyeuristic Sunday vibes where you’re deep in everybody’s business but you don’t feel guilty because it’s fictional… and You’re enjoying every second of it.
This was the perfect Sunday escape for me, my snuggy , and a whole neighborhood acting up on the page and trust me, that neighborhood is calling you by name, waiting for you to come tiptoe down their street.
Go ahead and step into their world, beloved. The drama is divine, the pacing is addictive, and you deserves a read this juicy.
I've read a lot of thrillers in my life, so I am pretty familiar with plot twists and can usually see them a mile away. Not with this book! Kept me guessing until the end. Loved the "Hitchcockian" vibe that was set right at the beginning.
When I say this book is messy baby, I mean it! Like there is always one person that wants to ruin the fun for everyone! Jealousy and obsession are the leading themes in this twisted town!
I was hooked from the beginning! This book was a great thriller and just the book I needed. It kept you guessing what’s next. The tension, spice, and thrill of the entire story was great! I need more of these characters so I am hoping and praying that there’s more in the future! 🤞🏼 If you’re looking for a good quick read you need to run and pick this one up.
It was okay. I was waiting for the jaw-dropping moment. Something that would’ve had me shook, but that never came. All them people was weird & they felt it from the beginning, but continued to engage. Justin knew a lot more than he let on & just sat back and let his wife get in deeper with these people 🤨
Just devoured The Sixth Couple by Bre Coleman — such an addictive read! 💥 The tension, romance, and secrets kept me glued to the page. The chemistry between characters is chef’s kiss, and the twists hit hard. If you love emotional thrillers with heart, this one’s for you.
I was not ready 😂 This neighborhood was WILD. I read this in two days because I needed to know everyone’s motives. Twisted, seductive, and suspenseful. Will definitely be thinking about Swingwood for a minute.
The story line had so much potential but it was not satisfying on a way that gives awe. Everyone's point of view was really unnecessary took away from the wow factor. It was also a lot of repetition with just multiple pov. The ending didn't quite makes sense.
I think I was expecting more of a thriller mystery read. The book didn’t get into the plot of the story until the ending chapters. The beginning was more erotic. Think I was just used to write from the authors first book
I was a heavy mood reader with his book. All in all this was actually a good books I definitely wasn’t excepting the twist this book had but now I’m very intrigued and we need another cause they way it ended I need to know more.
