It's our captain's turn!! Archer has been in love with Wren since his best friend's wedding who happens to be Wren's older brother and hockey player buddy. So now there in Vegas celebrating Wren's bday and things go 0 to 100 when they get drunk and married. They keep it a secret from everyone but Archer isn't letting go no annulment or divorce he wants his woman and he's going to prove it to her. There is some pull away from Wren due to her brother she doesn't wanna make him mad. I'm glad Archer was under her fears and was behind her and told the brother a light version that he was falling and going to date her. So that's pretty much the drama for them the brother. I wanted to slap you like you had your love and found it why you being a dick toward your sister. Even your best friend. Archer wasn't a manwhore, nothing wrong with him so why were you so upset?

Things worked out when something happened to Wren. Took a while for the brother to finally come to terms.

The spice was delicious love a man who likes to eat ;) Dirty mouth too. Hehe. Wren, I was glad she stood her ground. Even if it took her a minute.

I am going to spoil the fuck out of this piece of shit book so SPOILERS ahead. I am writing this review to remind me how much I hated it and why. This is one of NR's worst for me.

Safe
No cheating
No OM/OW (except that the hero was once in love with his one and only girlfriend when he was a teen and it is not our heroine as it should be)
Virgin heroine 21 years old but dated in the past and had a boyfriend for a few months during her freshman year college,
Quote,
“You need food, and I refuse to talk about another woman in our
bed, little bird.” His nose wrinkles. “We aren’t talking about other men
in our bed either.”
“Well, that’s easy enough. There are none.”
He stares at me, his expression intense. “What do you mean by
none?”
“I mean none. Zero. Zilch. Zip. Nada.” I shrug. “I had a boyfriend for
a few months when I was a freshman in college. I’ve dated. But I’ve
never slep–”
end quote

Experienced hero, 34 years old, celibate for 16 years (his girlfriend broke him so badly he swore off women, so it shows how deeply he felt for her which makes Wren second best)
No gross condom use
No third act break up
Pining for each other for a year (I hated that because the hero has no balls to go after the woman he supposedly loves)
Breeding kink
HEA (I don't believe in it)

Read this quote and see why this 'romance' was dead and decaying since the start.
Quote,
“I’m not a born-again virgin, you
asshole,” I mutter to him under my breath, which only makes him
laugh harder. Hell, maybe I am. I haven’t been with anyone since I
was seventeen.
Back then, I, naively, thought we were in love. Turns out, I was just
her ticket out of the town we grew up in. As soon as I found that out,
I cut ties and never looked back. Realizing I was just a meal ticket
hurt like hell. Funny thing is, though, I didn’t miss her once she was
gone. It was an eye-opening realization. I decided real quick that
relationships weren’t for me. If I couldn’t even tell the difference
between love and whatever the fuck that was…best to avoid them
altogether.
And then I met Wren. It was like a damn gong striking in my soul.
What I thought I felt at seventeen was fucking laughable in
comparison. That shit wasn’t love. It was loneliness and sheer
teenage ignorance.
end quote.

That killed the romance. He gave ALL his firsts to his first love. I don't care that he says he "thought" he was in love with his girlfriend when he was 17. He was in love. He gave ALL of him, including the one thing he should have felt ONLY for the heroine aside from feeling lust and it is love. Wren is dead last for Archer, because EVERYTHING took precedence over his "love" for her. Her brother, his career, the fact that he was celibate for 16 years was testament to how strongly his feelings were for his first and only girlfriend. I hated every bit of that. Even though the next quote tries to backtrack.

Quote,
“We grew up together,” he says, carrying me into the kitchen. “I
asked her to a dance when I was fifteen, and we were together for
two years. I thought she cared about me. Turns out, she just saw me
as her ticket out of town. I didn’t dump water on her, but I did break
up with her.”
“You must have really loved her.”
“What makes you think that?” he asks, frowning as he settles me at
the island.
“You’ve been celibate ever since her,” I say quietly
“That wasn’t because I’ve been hung up on her, Wren.” He tips my
chin back, forcing me to meet his gaze. I see the truth reflecting in
his eyes. It steadies me in ways I didn’t realize I needed to be
steady. “I was hurt when I found out that she was just using me, just
like you were with that fucker. But I didn’t miss her. I never wondered
where she was or what she was doing. It just didn’t fucking matter. I
was with her because it was easy. Because it was nice having
someone to share shit with. It was a routine like every other part of
my life at the time. Once she was out of the picture, I realized that
wasn’t what I wanted out of life. I didn’t want to be with someone just
because it was better than being alone. Just because it was easy or
a habit or comfortable. So when I drafted, I avoided all that shit.
Using someone to get off didn’t appeal to me when I knew how it felt
to be used.” He shrugs a shoulder. “I focused on the game and
finding joy in other parts of my life instead.”
end quote

Nice try to make it seem like he didn't care about his ex girlfriend, BUT HE DID! Nichole Rose must think we are either stupid or have a short memory span, because he said that when he realized he was just a meal ticket, it hurt him so he swore off women because he thought he was in love with her! SO HE WAS CELIBATE BECAUSE OF THE WOMAN WHO HE HAS GIVEN ALL HIS FIRSTS TO INCLUDING LOVE! There is NO way of backtracking. You don't stay with a girl for 2 years without having VERY strong feelings for her, and I don't care that they were 15 when they started dating, they were childhood friends! She was a monumental part of his life! Who is NR kidding? They were childhood friends, she was his first EVERYTHING and he thought he was in love, swore off women because of his ex only to try to convince Wren that his ex meant nothing? What a crock of shit! I would not believe a word Archer says and be hesitant just like Wren was until the magic of the almighty orgasm dulled her objective thinking.

She is 21 and graduated college and had a boyfriend for a few months, so that was something I guess. Not on an even keel as Archer since she is new to sex and he is definitely not. Here we go with Nichole Rose who just has to have her heroines be pure for the hero, but if the hero doesn't stick his dick in pussy before meeting the heroine, then he is not a real man. FUCK THESE DOUBLE STANDARDS!! It doesn't add ANYTHING except kill the romance, so the rest I read with a grimace on my face. The worst aside from pairing an experienced hero with a virgin heroine, is to pair one who was once in love. And make no mistake, I believe he was in love with his ex even if NR tries to bash over our heads that he kinda sorta wasn't.
So he and Wren get drunk in Vegas on her birthday and get married after humping in the elevator. They wake up hungover, she regrets the marriage but he doesn't and fights to convince her to stay married. Before that he did things to keep her close like opening a new position in a non profit for her to work in. He bought his house with her in mind. He "stalked" her, knowing where she lives and keeping an eye on her, which is all fine but I felt nothing with all these revelations. If he didn't have a past, I would have loved that alpha stalker in him. His past was one large shit smear I cannot rid the scent or sight of. Both denied their feelings for a year because of Wren's brother, and we get Archer convincing Wren through orgasms and words of love that they are meant to be. Archer is hell bent on fighting for them, but Wren is conflicted.
After consummating their marriage, he tells her about his ex, and she seems hesitant (as she should) but she gives their relationship a chance. He tells her brother that Wren and her are together and that he is claiming her, which is something he should have done a year ago! So this sudden caveman alpha, 'your sister is mine and I will fight for her' is just fucking nonsense. He should have done that when he met her!
There were some sweet moments between them, and some romcom banter that was supposed to be light-hearted and funny, and the scene where he teaches her to skate on ice in order to replace the bad memory with a good one, was sweet but that did nothing for me. The ghost of Archer's ex just kept nagging at me the entire read.
Also, there is drama with the brother who always sees his sister as the little girl who almost drowned because of him, so he is protective and harsh. The drama is like a stupid soap opera and I just did not care for it. Of course he ends up accepting their relationship, but he was a major dick constantly telling Wren to break up with Archer.
There is a ton of sex scenes, which again was just meh to me, because he experience all of this with his ex, so the unfairness of it made me huff in frustration. There was no saving this 'romance'. NOTHING, not all the sweet things Archer did that he should have done a year ago could save it because of his past.
The book is almost done, so let's end this shit story and then throw it in the dumpster where it belongs never to be read again! So they both decide to tell Micah they are married. Before that happens he hugs her and apologizes to her for being an asshole and they talk it out. One thing Micah tells his sister is true. He tells her that Archer always put hockey first to which she says that he doesn't know him well because they are in love. Archer may have stalked her, learned her favorite things, made a whole non profit organization so she can be close to him, but he did pine for her for a whole year. She later discovers that Archer is her boss and created this non profit for her and that makes her angry and hurt at his deceit. It is the most romantic thing a man can do and somehow, she is angry. I guess we need more unnecessary drama to stretch this story that is already too long! *huff, rolling eyes in annoyance* She flies to them and yells at both Archer and Micah, then in front of them gets into a car accident. She has a concussion, but is fine and Micah fully accepted their relationship after all three have their heart to heart conversations.
I am passionate about how I feel when I read a story and even after reading til the end, my mind has not changed in believing that Archer decided to put his friendship with her brother and hockey first. Her brother was right. Wren IS second place, and even if a year after they met, Archer is all in, beating his fists on his chest crying out for everyone to hear that he and Wren are husband and wife, and that she is the only important thing in his life, his actions and his past say otherwise.
If it were a DV, then I would be coaxed into believing that Wren is first for him, but his long past with his childhood friend turned girlfriend of two years also the woman he gave ALL his firsts to including intimacy, sex, friendship, young love and heartbreak that turned him celibate for 16 years, THAT is what doomed this romance. He gave to his ex EVERYTHING that should have been given to Wren. Wren is and forever will be second best. Even if he said that what he felt when he was a young teen, in hindsight was not love, believe me, that man was in love with his ex for at least the two years they were together, which is a LONG time. Back then, he was in love and no amount of hindsight can change that. Wren can never claim her man, as he gave ALL of himself to another before her. That destroyed any hope of romance between the two. She can never claim him as her own, as he belonged entirely to another. That is how I feel about it.
I hated this book with a passion and I will NEVER reread it. I think it is one of NR's worst.

Wren's brother is a famous hockey player and his captain Archer fell head over heels for her. Wren has a huge crush on the famous Captain but thinks she would never have a chance with a guy that could date hot models. But Archer saw Wren and instantly got obsessed, but his best friend makes it hard for them to be together. After a year of yearning, a trip to Vegas changes everything. A chapel, a bit of alcohol and true love changes their lives forever. They try to keep it secret, but what happens when Wren's brother finds out who his little sister is dating ?? Awesome third story in this hockey series full of obsessed men that would do everything for their woman. Instalove(with a bit of waiting 😉), sweet, steamy, romantic , with fun banter , fun to read and safe (she is a virgin, he had one partner nearly two decades ago so long long celibate 😏) with an awesome HEA😍😍😍😍 Can't wait for the next story 😊

I can't wait for you to meet Archer!

Pucking Curves is the 3rd book in the Pucked up Love series. From the very beginning, you’ll be captivated by Wren and Archer’s story. Their playful banter will have you laughing out loud, and their undeniable chemistry creates a delightful, forbidden romance. Archer is just so swoon-worthy! He would do anything for Wren because he knows from the moment they met that she’s the one for him. Even though Wren tries to fight her feelings, as she gets to know Archer, she can’t help but feel the same way.

The story moves at a quick pace, making it super easy to read in one sitting. Plus, there’s just the right touch of family drama with Micah that keeps things interesting. And let me tell you, the romance is spicy! I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series. Until then, happy reading!

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Okay book, Hero was an absolute pleasure reading about, his obsession for the h was so cute. But this book felt dragged out some places, but overall, good, cute book.

Both been in love with each other since they first met a year ago, and finally the H takes his chance and marries her when they are in Vegas.

- “Accidentally” Married
- Age gap (12 years apart)
- Brothers best friend
- Hockey romance
- Celibate hero (16 years)
- Plus size rep
- H stalks the h

Safety:
- H only every been with a girl from high school who he dated a couple of years, she used him for her “ticket out of town” and he cut ties to her the minute he found out. Never wanted anything from woman, until h. Not hung up on ex, didn’t even love her. Broke up when he was 17. Not been with anyone since (and not bc he was hung up on her)
- h has dated but is a virgin

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice read, a little longer than I usually read but so worth it.

Archer and Wren met a year ago at her brother Micah's wedding. Archer and Wren denied their feeling for one another for Micah. It's Wren's birthday so she goes with her brother and the Washington Carver's to Vegas to celebrate. Archer didn't know that Wren is going with them. Archer makes sure to sit next to Wren, her brother wants to call it a night she begs him to go gambling with her. Archer is going gambling so he offers to take Wren. Archer shows Wren how to play video poker but she doesn't pay attention because of how attracted she is to him. On the way up to their rooms, Wren kisses Archer then he asks her to marry him. Wren says yes, but Archer asks her how drunks she is and she tells him she's not that drunk. Wren wakes up wrapped up in Archer, and it's not until she sees the ring on her finger that she realizes she really married Archer. Archer starts to kiss his wife then pleasures Wren. Archer tries to make sure Wren isn't going to regret marring him when his phone rings. Wren's brother is on the phone and wants Archer to know he needs to catch the bus in fifteen minutes. When Micah tells Archer he needs to get Wren Archer offers to get her to the bus. On the way home after Micah falls asleep Archer and Wren decide not to tell anyone they're married. Archer tells Wren that she's going to move in with him because he wants his wife in his bed. Wren has to go to her home to pick up a few things, before she goes to Archer's home. Wren wonders how Archer knows where she lives when he drives her to her home. Archer takes Wren to his home where he takes her to his bed. Archer and Wren make love and then he finds out she's on birth control and tells her to stop it. While Archer is at practice he gets a message from Wren. Wren's brother comes over to talk to Archer and asks him what's up with the smile on his face. Archer confesses to Micah that he's been seeing Wren. Wren's brother gets pissed at Archer and wants to know how long it's been going on. Archer comes and pick up Wren from work and lets him know he talked with her brother. When Archer has his next home games he asks Wren to wear his number. When Wren gets to the arena she mets up with Emilia Pucking Dirty and Alice the team's publicist. They all walk to the locker room together. Archer comes out to see Wren then she sees her brother Micah. Wren talks to her brother Micah, who wants to know if it's true that she's seeing Archer. Wren's brother gets upset with her because this isn't what he wanted for her. Archer comes to console Wren before his game. Archer and Micah don't talk to one another and he starts to regret telling Wren's brother. During the game Archer gets hit from behind and twists his knee. Wren makes sure that Archer is icing his knee at home. Wren's brother Micah keeps sending her messages but she doesn't want to answer him because he keeps asking when she's going to break up with Archer. Later that night after Archer and Wren make love she tells him she loves him and he tells her he loves her too. Archer asks Wren if he can take her out on a date. Archer takes Wren to an ice rink, she's been afraid of the ice since she was ten and fell through the ice and almost died. Archer doesn't want Wren to be afraid of the ice so he teachers her how to skate. After they are back home, Archer takes care of Wren. They both decide it's time to tell Wren's brother Micah they're married. Archer knows it's time to tell Wren his secret he's been keeping from her too. When Archer goes to tell Wren she's asleep so he decides to wait until after the next game. Before they leaves for the next away game Wren's brother comes and apologies to her. While Wren is working a reporter comes to talk to her, before he comes to her office she calls Alice the team's publicist. With Alice on speaker phone she invites the reporter in. Wren is asked about her marriage to Archer which she doesn't say anything about. When the reporter asks her about Archer owning the company she's working for Wren is shocked. After the reporter leaves Wren asks Alice if it's true that Archer owns Helping Hands. Wren gets on a plane to go see Archer. When Archer can't get a hold of Wren he goes and finds Micah. Archer and Micah head to the lobby to wait on the bus. Archer tells Micah he married Wren in Vegas and gets punched in the face. While a few of the other guys are pulling Micah and Archer apart, Wren shows up and tells them to stop. Wren gets upset with Archer and Micah and walks off. While Archer and Micah are talking a SUV swerves and hits Wren, Archer and Micah run to be by her side. Archer paces the waiting room waiting on anything from the doctors on Wren. When the doctor finally comes in and lets Archer and Micah know that Wren is awake and wants to see them. Archer goes to see Wren she asks him about his company she's working for and why he didn't tell her. After Wren gets to her room she asks to see her brother Micah and talks to him. Three weeks later, Wren is fully recovered but Archer makes sure to take care of his wife. Five years later, Archer and Wren have two little girls with another one on the way, they both think it's going to be a boy this time. This is the future Wren always dreamed about. It's not just Wren's future it's her and Archer's.

What do you do? This is for sure an over-the-top OTT romance. And an OTTB over-the-top-brother. And can we say stalker much where he says protector. But hey, she knew he was there most of the time. When you are a huge hockey star who plays on the same team as the girl you fell in love with at first sight, and she won’t give the time of day to hockey players? Archer Graves fell head over heels for Wren Erikson at her brother Micah’s wedding weekend. After being her tail for the weekend to ease her brother's mind, she could at least tolerate him.

Whereas the rest of the guys, she never gave them the time of day. You see, her brother was extremely protective of her when he became the man of the house at such a young age; it's just ingrained in him. Archer was truly different from the majority of the guys on his team. He is not a player; he had not been with a girl since he was seventeen. He thought he was in love, but when he found out she was only with him to be her meal ticket out of their hometown, he cut her loose. Furthermore, he has always lived, eaten, breathed, and repeated the processes daily, but when Wren became his second most important focus, everything changed.

However, now their playing in Vegas on Wren’s birthday weekend, so Micah invited her to join them. Saying he missed so many of her birthdays, and with the game part of it, will be taken up. So Micah, Wren, and Archer will gamble and have fun after dinner. That's where things get a little fuzzy but fun. Waking up to being married, they weren’t upset like you would think they should be. It was her brother's wedding that did it. He followed her around or his eyes all night, and she had to admit she liked it.

He slowly grew on her that night. Now she joined them in Vegas after their game to celebrate her birthday. And he’s always felt guilty that she almost died on the ice when she was ten. He’s convinced that if hockey hadn’t been her whole life, she wouldn’t have been out there that day. His guilt is unnecessary, but there’s no telling him that. He goes out of his way to make it up to her. She usually fights him on it because there’s nothing for him to make up to her, but sometimes, like right then?

Well, you gotta do what you gotta do. And if playing dirty means she gets even ten more minutes with Archer, well, she’ll play dirty. That's when Archer volunteers to take her for Micah. Micah tells Archer, “Fine, but you better take care of her, man. If anything happens to her in Vegas, I will throw you from the plane tomorrow.” They stay out gambling a couple of thousand dollars later and a lot of drinks, too. Archer gets her to the elevator when she tells him she’s been wanting him for a long time.

He asks how long she says long. Then a make out session starts in the elevator. It's when the door stops suddenly, and the door opens, and there stands Logan, one of his and Micah’s teammates.
He’s standing in the open elevator doorway, eyes so wide it’s comical, looking like he’d rather be anywhere else at that moment. Archer didn’t think it was possible to shock their goalie speechless, and yet it was true he was saying not one word. All six-foot-something of him was in shock.

“F---,” Archer growls, quickly turning them slightly as if to shield her from view. But it’s way too late for that. Logan has already seen them. “Um…hi?” Wren squeaks. Logan cracks a smile, glancing between Wren and Archer. “Before I get off this f-ing elevator and pretend I didn’t see s--t…no disrespect, Cap, but are you good, Wren? You want to be here?” “I’m fine, Logan,” I whisper. “But thank you for being the kind of guy who asks.” The doors slide closed. Archer doesn’t say a word. He doesn’t move, either.

He’s completely still, every muscle in his body rigid. His hands still on her ass. Her soul quivers. He’s going to tell her that it was a mistake. That it never should have happened and can’t ever happen again. He’s going to break her heart without even knowing that entire sections of it probably already belong to him. “Archer?” she whispers, pleading quietly. “Please don’t regre–” “Marry me.” Wow! Things just got interesting, should they marry with her being tipsy? Maybe not, but as you read, you realize she has had feelings for Archer too, ever since her brother's wedding, a year ago.

This is book three in the author’s Pucked Up Love series and features Archer, the Captain of the Carvers hockey team and Wren, his best friend and teammate, Micah’s, little sister.

I’ve said this about every book so far in this series, not to mention all the other books that I’ve read by this author but… I LOVED this book! Archer is smokin’ hot and the sweetest cinnamon roll MMC I’ve read in at least the last week or so (or however long it’s been since Pucking Fake, book two, was released). That man has got the dirtiest, sweet talking-est mouth on him and I am in. Love!!! (I think I may have said the same thing about the MMCs in the two previous books as well but Ms. Rose just has a way of writing the sweetest, smexiest men out there.)

Wren was an amazing character as well—strong, sassy and gave as good as she got and they were perfect together but Archer is the one that had my heart. I could seriously have happily continued reading their story for hours.

There was some, not a whole lot, of hockey playing involved, the book mostly revolved around the players themselves and the romance but I loved it. There was no angst or third act breakup, which I appreciated, but there was maybe a TINY bit of drama, nothing too bad and it wasn’t overly done, it just cemented the feelings between some of the MCs.

I know I didn’t do the book justice but I really can’t recommend this book highly enough, it’s a must read for anyone who loves sweet, hot romances with hunky hockey players. 5+++ stars!

Pucking Curves is the third book of the Pucked Up Love series and we finally get Asher and Wrens story.

Asher is the team captain, trustworthy reliable, strong and utterly head over heels in love with Wren, who just so happens to be his best friends little sister making her completely off limits. However a night in Vegas leads to an exchange of rings and an opportunity for Asher to finally show Wren how right they are for one another, despite how her brother may take it.
The chemistry between Asher and Wren is brilliant, and the fact it's a mutual pining for one another for a year just makes their coming together even sweeter. Asher is a definite cinnamon roll for Wren, especially when he trys to give her better memories and teaches her to skate. He's a gent in streets and an alpha in the sheets 🥵
The book is a 5 star read, the entire series is a 5 star read so if you've not treated yourself now is the time you won't be disappointed.

I am sooo here for an unhinged, overly obsessed pro hockey captain! Archer was OTT alpha possessive and was so obsessed and in love with Wren that she wasn’t just the centre of his world, she was his whole world. Wren tried hard to fight her feelings to protect her brother Micah and their team, but their love was inevitable, especially with all the things Archer was doing to keep her close. There was so much to love about this book, but I especially loved the communication and the fact that Archer wouldn’t lie to Micah or hide them regardless of the consequences. I usually hate when they talk about ex’s as well, but this one had a super mature conversation about each others ex’s and the communication from that with each other was top tier. That locker room is seeing a ton of action with these guys on the team! But not only was there the locker room in this one, there was the plane, centre ice, so many public (but private) steamy moments. PCOS awareness too! I think this may be my favourite in the serious so far! No cheating or OM/OW drama, virgin FMC, MMC had 1 experience at 17 but has been celibate for 16 years, dual POV, breeding kink, HEA and a steamy epilogue 5 years in the future. Can’t wait for Jordan’s book, I need to know what Sutton’s brother did that should have put him in jail!

Puck Yeah!

Pucking Curves is the third standalone book in Nichole Rose’s Pucked Up Love series, all of which are the swoon worthy, insta love stories of the men who make up this pro hockey team.

Asher Graves is the captain of the Washington Carvers, & nothing having to do with his team escapes his notice. Especially not Wren Erikson, the much younger sister of not only his teammate, but his best friend, Micah.

All it took was one meeting at Micah’s wedding for Asher to know on an atomic level, that Wren was meant to be his. Little complications mean nothing… complications including Wren’s apparent disinterest, or her overbearing brother just need to be viewed & managed from another angle. Some may call it stalking, Asher calls it love & protecting Wren, from a distance.

Wren Erikson is smitten with her brother’s best friend. She may not have any experience & she’s tried to pretend she didn’t feel the instant connection when she met him at her brother’s wedding. But the reality is, Asher is the only man she’s ever wanted.

While in Las Vegas for an away game, Asher is confronted with an entirely too tipsy, & tempting Wren who is also in town to celebrate her birthday. Promising to watch over Wren while she gambles, Asher becomes unable to restrain himself any longer, & when a drunken elevator proposal turns into matrimony by the morning Asher becomes determined to prove to Wren that their vows weren’t a mistake, & that he’s more than willing to bear the brunt of Micah’s disapproval.

Pucking Curves is a perfect combination of obsessed, older, alpha, hockey captain & feisty, curvy, best friend’s little sister. Asher & Wren have inescapable chemistry, with Asher’s dirty mouth melting the metaphorical page. You can never go wrong with a Nichole Rose book!

You know what I loved about this book?

Everything! I loved absolutely everything about this book!

When I read the blurb, I went in expecting the same old, boy loves his bestie's sister, said sister loves her brothers bestie, and the whole book is around them hiding from & lying to the brother, because one of them wants to keep their relationship a secret all the while hurting the other one in the process by not putting the other first... You know... Same old, same old... Blah blah blah....

But, it's Nichole Rose, so I was going to read it anyway.

This was ABSOLUTELY NOT this book!

Fuck man it was so refreshing to read a whole different spin on this troupe!
At no point did Wren or Archer hurt each other by "cheapening" their relationship. They certainly didn't hide their relationship from Micah either.

Wren & Archer always put each other first! ...even when Micah was being an asshole, they put each other first.

Yes, there were one or two wee tiny little secrets, but that just kept the story interesting, and added to it.

At no part in the story did I feel like "oh for fuck sake, not this shit again" ... Like I said... FUCKEN REFRESHING !!

Well done Nichole Rose! You win all the rosette's!

Pucking Curves is the 3rd book in the Pucked up Love series. If you love hockey romances, this is another amazing story for you! Archer, the team captain, is used to being on top of his teammates and their lives so he can be prepared to help the coach address and handle them. As such, he’s used to putting the needs of these teammates ahead of himself and his interests. So, he has developed a solid reputation as a good guy. Wren is Micah’s sister and is used to putting her brother and his hockey career ahead of many things in her life. You can imagine what happens when these two individuals, so used to putting others first, start to fall for each other.

This is a story about how they learn to put themselves and their wants and needs ahead of others, and all the ups and downs that occur as they navigate the change in dealing with this shift in how they approach and handle relationships around them as a couple. Nichole Rose once again spins a realistic tail, including the sibling dynamics, while continuing to breathe dimensions and life into these individuals. I can’t wait for you to enjoy Archer and Wren as they grow and learn together.

Yes!!!!! We got Archer and Wren's story! I've been intrigued about them since they were first mentioned. Archer is the team captain. He's responsible, trustworthy. He loves his team and supports every single player. He puts everyone else's needs ahead of his own. The only thing he has wanted this past year is Wren, his best friend and team mate's little sister. Little does he know she wants him just as badly. I absolutely loved these two together. I loved how Nichole played everything out for us. I loved their chemistry and how they were both equally obsessed with each other. Wren loved how obsessed he was and what all he did. Same girl. Same. Lol. I'd actually love it too. There's plenty of steamy scenes in this one. Like, a lot. And I loved it. Nichole balanced it out well with some drama and sweetness. I love this series and I am always looking forward to the next one.

I received a complimentary copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

"Are you hangry? Did they forget to feed you second dinner?"

His fantasies are dirty and depraved....
Her dreams are sexy and steamy....
It may be love but...
... it's forbidden

Or is it?

Archer is obsessed with Wren, he has stalked her, created a job for her, loved her from afar, but he has always respected Micah's wishes
.... until Vegas!
One look is all it takes and he knows all bets are off, he can no longer keep his lips, hands or anything else to himself.
She is his and he is hers.
He claims her, claims them and claims the future they both desperately crave...
...the one they were told they couldn't have!
I love that Archer is no longer willing to put the happiness of others before theirs, he knows they belong together and he is willing to fight for them - what more can any woman ask for? Well he is also insanely good with his mouth, lips, teeth, tongue, fingers....
A deliciously dirty and steamy read on Kindle Unlimited.

This is book number 3 of the Pucked Up Love series and focuses on Archer and Wren. Archer and Wren have been in love with each other since meeting through Wren’s older brother and Archer’s teammate, Micha. They kept their distance for a while until a trip to Las Vegas leads to Archer and Wren letting their true feelings for each other come through and ending up married. Archer is determined to make it work and stay married no matter what. Them getting married was everything that they both wanted, but Wren was a bit hesitant initially because of her brother. I love how steadfast with his pursuit of Wren he was and how he continuously worked at breaking down Wren’s walls and showing her how perfect they are together. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Mine! Archer knew Wren was his from the moment he met her. He didn’t just love her, he was obsessed with her. He was going to make her his, in every way possible! Just one little problem, her big brother, who was his best friend. Wren was in love with her brother’s best friend, and she knew she could never have Archer. She did not want to hurt her brother or ruin their friendship when their relationship inevitably ended. Then one night in Vegas, and although the saying is “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” this could not stay in Vegas. Wren and Archer found themselves married!! Oh Pucking Curves is so good, and Wren and Archer are perfect for each other. The story is sweet, and super spicy!!!

So, I don't know when it happened, but majorly obsessive and a little bit stalker has become all the green flags 😍😍! Archer freaking Graves will absolutely set standards! After pining away for his best friend's baby sister for a year, he finally does something about it. And boy, does this story make me wish my older brother played hockey 🤣! I loved Wren so much. She's got a fiesty personality and doesn't just take everything that comes at her. Together, Archer and Wren are 🔥🔥 and their chemistry is undeniable from the start. I think Micah may need a trip to the team doctor to have his vision checked for how he missed out on all of this. I can't wait to add this book to my physical bookshelf. It will definitely be a reread!

Secret marriage, brother's best friend, and obsessive MMC? Sign me up! We've met Archer in the previous books, the cool, calm and collected captain. However, we get to see a different side of him here. A Wren obsessed, growly, possessive side and boy was it great! And Wren is such a strong FMC, I love her so much. She gives Archer a run for his money and he loves every second of it. Together, they may be my favorite couple in this series so far. If you love hockey romance, strong plus size FMCs, and dirty talking MMCs, you should definitely read this book. This whole series has been so immensely enjoyable and I can't wait to read the next one!

hokey romance.
Wren is a young woman in love with her brother Archer's best friend and hockey captain. She has always hidden her feelings, but after a drunken night in Las Vegas, she finds herself married to Archer.
Archer is in love with his best friend's little sister; because of their relationship, he has always put his feelings aside. But now that he is married to her, he will do anything to keep her.
Will Archer and Wren have a beautiful wedding, or will they have to separate because of their relationship with Wren's brother…

Loved Wren and Archer. Archer is in love with his best friend’s little sister, but he doesn’t know she’s in love with him too. They are too afraid to say anything knowing that Wrens brother would come between them. You know “No one looks at my baby sister” mentality. They all take a trip to Vegas and Wren and Archer leave married. This man Archer has done some things (think obsessed) to keep Wren in his orbit and when he finally gets her he has no desire to let her go. And the mouth in this man! 🔥🔥🔥 These two are perfect for each other.

randomly picked this up

This was goooooood. Archer is 🌶️ 🥵 🔥

The kind of obsessed slightly stalker ish hero we need!!! This man wasn’t letting her go once her got her (respectfully)

Really loved their relationship - burned hot and fast and true.

Micah was such a pain , goodness. Wonder if he has a book or not 🤔

The book is a fast read and a lot of it is 🌶️ scenes…. there could have been more plot development and description of details but overall I really liked the characters and how Archer was written.

Pucking Curves by Nichole Rose follows the love story between Archer and Wren! Archer has wanted Wren the moment he met her at his friends wedding two years earlier, the problem, Wren is his best friends little sister. With mutual feelings and a drunken night in Vegas the pair get hitched, but what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Pucking Curves has secrets, obsession, and spice that leaves you wanting more!

I'm all about the brother's best friend trope but I absolutely detest the drama of not going there because the brother will get mad. Sorry but if my best friend doesn't like the idea of me dating their sibling then why are we friends? If he's good enough to be your friend then he's good enough to date your sister.
I didn't like this as much ax he others. I didn't care much for Wren. Micah is a jerk. The worst friend a man could have.
