1424 Days is the true story of how J Wilson adopted his niece and nephew, giving him the stability he didn’t have in his own childhood.
This book is a great insight into the uncertainty of foster care and how DHS can change their minds at any moment during an adoption process.
If you are currently a foster parent, working for adoption, or considering either of those, I highly recommend picking up this book.
