Just Another Missing Person

Rate this book

I have experienced every parent's worst nightmare. My first-born daughter was murdered and tossed away. It was the most difficult, trying time of my life. I wanted to die. I begged God to just please take me out of his world and rid me of all of my frustrations, anguish, and incomprehensible pain. But He didn't, and I am still here. Thanks be to God, I survived it all. I made it through this ordeal, and I've been able to live, love and laugh again.

Writing this book has been therapeutic. It's helped me to turn another page in this journey called life. But I also wrote it because I am compelled to reach out to others and hopefully inspire those who are facing what my family and I have already gone through. I want to tell you that you can overcome this tragedy; and there can be a rainbow after the thunderstorms of life. To God be the glory.

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and do not rely on you own understanding. ~ Proverbs 3:5

This story is so sad! Cathy was my cheerleading coach. Her son Jared was a classmate of mine. She was absolutely beautiful and amazing! Still over 30 years later I think about her and her sons.
