~JERZIE’S REVIEW~ **4 Deliciously Wicked Stars**

I loved this book and am so thankful for the advance copy. This is the debut novel by SK Fordman and what a great start to the series. Chained is one of those books that stays with you well after you finish reading it. I loved the emotions felt throughout this book. Amazing!

“Stel, I love you. I will always be with you. You’re young and you are beautiful. Find love again.” *tears*

Chained is about Stella's journey dealing with the tragic loss of her husband Jack, raising their two sons without him, and having the strength to continue on.

Throughout the story, we are given glimpses into Stella's relationship with Jack through flashbacks. Jack and Stella had a love like no other. Soul mates. You really understand the struggles she faces with this devastating loss and her strengths for moving on for the sake of her children.

Stella says goodbye to her old home and old life and with her boys they move into a new area to start over.

Enter in smokin hot Coach Dean/Dr. Dean. He's not only all firm muscle perfection but brains too. Did I forget to mention that he also happens to be a millionaire. Yup, that's right. Total package. Stella is confused and doesn't understand her feelings towards Dean. How can she care for another man, when Jack was the love of her life? Her attraction to Dean and her love and memories with Jack leave Stella feeling like she is in a tug of war.

“My core was screaming, and Dean was making it scream.”

Now, this story has its fair share of drama but also downright hilarious moments that make this such a enjoyable read. There is suspense and heartbreak and even more losses. Stella is also receiving threatening letters that seem so harmless at first. Stella should have listened to the warnings.

Now Ms. Fordham, that crafty bella, leaves us with a cliffhanger and yes, what a cliffhanger it is!

This is the first book in the Chained series. I can't wait to see what happens next!!!

4 stars!

Recommended to anyone looking for romantic suspense with an emotional (but not too heavy) storyline and plenty of steam.

*Spoiler free reviews. Always.*

Chained was a pleasant surprise and centers around a recently widowed Stella. She is trying her best to move on in the world after the tragic loss of her husband, Jack, whom she loved very much.

Stella often zones out thinking about Jack which is presented to us in the form of flashbacks. Some of those memories were painful to read because he could have been any of the men in the happily ever afters we all adore so much. Sexy, kind and very loving to his wife. I could feel her loss and how she longed for him.

 photo four_zpse1867f47.gif

But life has to go on. She resumes her nursing job at the hospital and tries to be strong for her sons. Being a mother, thankfully, keeps her very busy. Homework needs to get done and the boys have to get to soccer practice...

Pause! When did Dr. Dean become the new soccer coach...
 photo two_zpsfe92dbc9.gif

No, she shouldn't be focused on another man right not but damn is it hard to ignore Dean.

 photo three_zps94d8b1a1.gif

However it's obvious he's been crushing in her for a while. She hasn't even given in to him...yet... when strange things...things that have crossed the line into Stalkerville begin happening to her and she can't understand why. They all have something to do with Dean. Why would someone want her to stay away from him and who is sending these messages?

I felt there was just enough emotional turmoil to connect with Stella but not so much that it casts a cloud of sadness over the entire story. Great read! I am very much looking forward to more!

A 'first time' book by this author and the storyline is very good...intriguing...I am now waiting on the follow up. When I read it, I found it in need of some major editing/proof reading. That has apparently been rectified now, this did distract from my enjoyment to a degree but I was, however, engrossed in the characters and the plot. SK Fordham has the makings of a good storyteller and I wish her well with her future writing.

I just finished reading Chained by S.K. Fordham and I have to say that at first I had mixed feeling while reading it. I can usually see the path of the story line within the first few chapters. This was not the case with this book. There were times when the book seemed like it was moving very fast, and then times like it was moving real slow. This did not deter me. This book already had my interest.
This is a different sort of read for me, but I would like to think that it came at a good time. The main plot is about a woman overcoming loss and learning to live again. Hard enough to do on a good day. Then you have a psycho that decides to start threatening her. Now your interest is even more piqued. I can say that I am actually glad that there will obviously be a next book. I did not want to see this one end.
This book gets a 4 star rating from me. I had some minor issues with it (I think it is more a language difference thing), but overall, I found this book enjoyable and will be waiting on the next installment to be released.

I will admit, when I first picked up this book, I had a difficult time getting into it. Stella’s thoughts were just all over the place for me, and I was getting confused. After a few days, I gave it a second chance. Committing to stick with it (I cannot leave a book unfinished), I finished it very quickly. I began to like the characters, and couldn't wait to see where it was going. I was beginning to wonder if the children would become involved in the relationship (their mother’s having a relationship, when will they spend more time with him). The cliffhanger ending has made it quite obvious that I will be seeing Stella and Dean again, as now I have to know what will become of them, and the love that was blossoming! If you've picked up this book, I urge you to dive in! I’m glad I did! I give this book a four star rating!

overall this book intrigued me got me talking there's a bunch of deep emotional pains that would make any normal person cry, there's drama, there's a sexy man who's just perfect , there's a creepy person it's got everything in it I want in a book ..but okay don't tell anyone but there was just wayyyyyyy too much sex for me... just sex all over the pages ..which normally I'm so about but her inner love goddess and her cat was purring that sex I didn't need hahah. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with this ...but man its got some good plots that haven't developed yet so I will think on continuing this one

Stella is the single mother of two young boys. Still grieving over the loss of her husband, she is faced with the possibility of losing someone else close to her. Enter the good looking doctor and coach, Dean. If Stella allows him, he can take away the pain she’s suffering and give her another chance at love, but someone doesn’t want that to happen. Can Stella move on from the loss of Jack and open herself up to loving Dean or will the person trying to keep that from happening ensure that she doesn’t?
Chained is, without a doubt, an emotional read. The flashbacks that Stella has of her and Jack together will make you want to weep. S.K.’s writing truly makes you feel the loss of Jack and makes your heart break for Stella. The introduction of Dean into Stella’s life also reminds you that it is possible to love again, and albeit heart wrenching to think of Stella with someone other than Jack, you really root for these two to fall in love so they both can have happiness. It is a testament to S.K.’s writing of such a beautifully crafted character in Dean that you want Stella to move on. Look for S.K.’s next book, Chained to You for the next chapter in the story of Stella and Dean.

This book had my emotional all over the place. I cried, laughed, loved and awed the whole book. I feel in love with the Stella, she was a strong character that was determined to move on after tragedy. This book had alittle bit of all that I enjoy in a book.

Stella must learn to cope with the death of her loving husband. She will have to be strong for her 2 young sons. As they continue on with everyday life, Stella will see something that will cause her to think back to a memory with Jack. She does this quite a bit. It was a great way to get to know the relationship that Jack and her had.

Doctor Dean entered the picture at a time when Stella to learn how to love again. Dean is absolutely smitten with her. He will do everything in his power to show her how much she deserves to be happy and that happiness involves him.

As the story goes on weird things start to happen. A note here and there, Stella feeling as though someone is watching her but she sees no one. Then bam something major happens and we have to wait for the next book. Well played SK. Can not wait for book 2.

Chained by S.K. Fordham 4 stars

I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The book stars off slow and depressing as Stella and her two young sons are leaving their family home after the passing of her husband. Stella struggles to move forward in her life and continues to experience loss. Throughout the book, Stella has many flashbacks of her life with her husband, which fills in gaps for the reader about her past. Stella catches the eye of a handsome doctor, but is worried if enough time has passed since her husbands death for her to even consider loving another. Just when you think the two are going to get their happy ending, the reader is left with a major cliffhanger. Initially, I was bored with the book and had trouble staying focused as I did not want to read a depressing story, however I am glad I stuck with it as I did enjoy it when the family started getting back to their lives and look forward to reading more from the author. There were a few times that I was confused with plot changes and would have to reread what had just occurred.

This is the debut novel by S.K. Fordham and I thought it was very good. It is the story of Stella and Dean. Stella is a young widowed wife and mother of 2 young boys who is grieving for the husband she was deeply in love with and lost in a robbery. It has been a year when Dean comes into her life as the coach of her son's soccer summer camp. He is taken with her right away but she is torn because she feels she is being unfaithful to her husband Jack. Someone does not want Stella to move on with Dean but she doesn't take the threats seriously.

This story has a little of everything. It has romance, lots of steamy parts and suspense. There are parts that left me with questions but I think everything will be answered in the next book.

This is the first book of two. This one leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what happened. I am looking forward to reading the next book Chained To You.

Yep i just kinda started backwards didn't i?

Well that ending was a whirlwind!
Yes a cliffhanger but it left me wanting to know right now what the very next line will be!!!

Stella has had a lot of heartbreak.
After losing her husband in a super tragic way, she finds herself lost and caring for her two young boys, moving and coming to terms with everything.
Then fate deals her and her family another low blow and you wonder can this woman take much more?

Enter Dr.Dean, smart, sexy, filthy rich with a heart of pure gold.
Can he help Stella with her heartbreak?
Is the heartbreak even over or is just beginning?
I won't spoil your own reading pleasure but let me tell you it's certainly a shocker.

This is a hot and emotional read and again one that will leave you begging to read the next book!!

Chained is a romantic suspense and it also deals with a second chance romance. How do you move on after the death of your spouse? That’s where we find Stella at the beginning of Chained. Will she remained chained to her past or will she be able to move on with doctor Dean?

The story flowed nicely and was filled with suspense and romance. There were moments that I may have teared up, but for the most part I remained tear-free.

Stella is living her life with her sons, after her husband’s death. You get a glimpse of Stella with her boys, Stella with her girlfriends, and romantic and sexy Stella. There are a lot of twists and turns throughout the book. Some that you see coming and some that throw you for a loop.

Chained is Book 1 and is a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next story to find out more of Stella’s story.

No spoilers as is the norm for me.
I loved this book, Stella & Jack's love story was amazing. The background on their life together, her memories of him throughout the story were heart warming and at times heart breaking. Everyone wants a love like theirs.

“Stel, I love you. I will always be with you. You’re young and you are beautiful. Find love again.” - I cried, yep that right there once you read this book and see where it fits you'll tear up too.

Dean comes into her life and what she feels scares her, she feels like she's betraying her dead husband, that it's too soon to feel anything for anyone else.
Both Stella and Dean have issues, Dean is the most understanding, patient man. Even with his own demons he supports Stella and gives her exactly what she needs.
The end - you don't see it coming until it's too late, to be continued in book 2.

Chained was a story that managed to pull at my heart-strings, give me the hots, and make me go awwww countless times. It tells the story of a recently widowed woman who learns to live with her grief and see beyond it step by step. Some of my favourite moments of the book were the flashbacks in which bits of her story with her husband were depicted. They made connecting with her and her pain of getting over his death much easier. I liked the heroine and enjoyed seeing her heal as the book went along. The hero was likeable and maintained an air of mystery I liked.
And the ending, ahh. . .I’ll let you read the book to enjoy that :-D

This book is the first in the series and leaves on a bit of a cliffhanger.
I love that this is written in Australia and around an area that I grew up. I always get a buzz when places I know personally are mentioned.
The story follows Stella, a young widow raising her two young sons alone after the death of her husbands. She has a really bad run of luck over 12 months, more than most people can cope with.
Enter Dean, a young, rich doctor who takes an interest in Stella.
Will have to wait for the next book to see how this all turns out.

Death leaves a gaping hole in a heart that is hard to heal.
Stella loses her husband Jack to a convenience store holdup shootout.
She is having conversations with him and becoming lost at times.
Then she meets her boys' soccer coach, and general surgeon.
She feels all of the sexual tension between them and acts on it.
But she starts getting weird, threatening messages to stay away from him.
This is a BIG cliffhanger and one that I cannot wait to read.
Hurry up July31!!!
Great beach read.

This is a really brilliant debut novel. It's a really great romantic story with suspense thrown in. I loved it. Gripping read for me.

This is Stella's story. After the tragic loss of her husband Stella decides to make a fresh start with her two sons. Here she meets the deliciously hot Dean. Can he help her move on?

Great story with a big cliffhanger. Looking forward to jumping right into book two.

**This book ends in a major cliffhanger, so readers should be prepared to buy Book 2.**

“Love again Stella.”

I don’t even want to imagine what it would be like to lose my husband. We’ve been together since we were seventeen, and it would take everything I have not to shut down so that I could be there for our child. But I don’t know if I’d ever be able to love like that again. I would hope that I would, but I can’t imagine it at this point. Needless to say, I was proud that Stella was finally entertaining the idea of seeing someone. And who better than a sweet and sexy doctor?

“I want you, I can’t live without you. So I am happy to have you however you will let me.”

Oh, Dean… gorgeous, thoughtful, determined Dean… He wasn’t taking no for an answer when he started pursuing Stella, and he was willing to follow her lead and speed as long as he got to be with her. I had to admire that in him, that he was understanding about how hard it was to come back from a loss like the one she experienced and that he was willing to let her set the pace and make all the decisions so as not to rush her. He’s not perfect and has some secrets, and I thought his almost instant love for her was a little extreme, but being empathetic is a love-inspiring quality in a man, in my humble opinion.

I thought Stella needed some serious help with her spacing out and getting lost in memories of the past and completely losing time in the present. I mean, one minute you’re having drinks and dancing with your friends and remembering being in a similar situation with your deceased husband, and the next minute you’re waking up in bed with a man you don’t even remember meeting, much less leaving the city with so that you have to catch a flight back to where you previously were... That’s definitely something to be concerned about and was sort of left unresolved, like it just disappeared without her ever discussing it with her therapist or doing anything to try to control it. It kind of bothered me that it seemed to be a big deal in the story but never got addressed.

I’ll admit I was taken aback by Stella’s sexual relationship with Carl. It wasn’t that long after her husband died, and I couldn’t imagine wanting to touch another man that soon, even if I was celebrating justice being served for his murder. I felt a little bit disappointed in her. But then I kept reading and kept thinking about it, and I decided that she was only looking out for herself and her needs. Instead of denying herself any sort of feeling or happiness, she went after what she wanted. It may have just been sexual gratification, but that’s still a natural human need. I think that was an important step in trying to move forward from the devastation of her loss. I still don’t think I could do it that soon, but I grew to almost admire her for it. Though, it did kind of contradict telling herself it was too soon to start something with Dean when she’d already had a fling some time before he came around. Not that it took her too long to give into the lust Dean’s hotness inspired in her body. After all, his sexiness gets him a lot of unwanted attention that causes a lot of issues. But you’ll have to read the book to get more info on that.

Editing was an issue. Punctuation, spelling, and grammar errors were the main reasons for my rating, and I actually came close to giving it 3.5 stars for those and the unresolved mental issues. It hurt my heart to type the first quote in this review because it’s missing a necessary comma, not to mention the run-on sentence in the second quote. However, they wouldn’t be true quotes if I corrected them. Despite the errors, I did enjoy the story and was glad I had Book 2 on hand to start as soon as I finished this one. (Because that cliffhanger is a doozy!)

I was gifted a copy of this debut book by SK Fordham.

I enjoyed the plot with the terrible heartbreak over the loss of Stella’s murdered husband and father of her two sons; bits of the police work and trial; her two close friends, and meeting Coach/Dr. Dean. Stella gets lost in her memories and it was easy, for the most part, to tell when something was in the past, since the majority of her conversations with her husband Jack are in italics. Some of these past conversations are heartbreaking and I felt a little teary at times.

Stella is still struggling so much with the loss of her husband, and the counseling helped to a certain degree, but she would just get lost in thought, and forget about the present. I could understand the loss, but she seemed to need additional help – she needed more appointments, a different counselor, prescription, or something, as her grief was just overwhelming at times.

Since this is a romance/mystery story, certain details are not yet provided. What is Dean’s story? What about her friend’s husband, Steve? What about her psychologist and his temporary replacement? If someone received threatening notes, most people would contact the police but Stella decided they were just a prank. You’re never quite sure who is just weird, overwhelmed due to loss, controlling, or just keeping secrets – which is okay since it adds to the suspense, but some of it is unexplainable.

I enjoyed that Dean is so crazy about Stella from the beginning, and understands that she lost her husband and love of her life. He is willing to do whatever Stella needs just to be with her and they have great chemistry. You would think for a handsome wealthy man, that it would be easier to find someone with less baggage (murdered husband, 2 children, ill friend, etc.), but Dean wants Stella. He admires her strength in trying to overcome the loss of her husband and protecting her sons. He also spends time coaching the boys in soccer and becomes close to them.

The story takes a while to get into, but includes some twists and turns, and then it ends in a definite cliffhanger.

Issues: This story definitely needs some good editing, spell check, correct words used vs incorrect (taut instead of taught, definitely instead of defiantly), etc. I’m certainly not capable of being the grammar police, but all of the errors were distracting. It was difficult to tell when there was a conversation or if I was reading Stella’s thoughts. The plot jumped around and many details seem to have been left out such as when she went out of town with her friends, then wakes up in another state with an unknown man, and no memory of what happened.

I didn’t have a problem with the many Aussie related terms as I’ve read a few books with Aussie or British terms. I did have to search online for Celsius and Fahrenheit temps since 30 degrees was mentioned and noted it was hot outside.

Chained is currently listed for Free on Amazon, so I would recommend downloading it and you may find a new favorite author. I look forward to the second book and hopefully some of the mystery related details will be included. The story seemed to be about feeling chained to memories, etc., and then the end of the story hits – I was left scared, wondering what happened? The story left me intrigued enough to want to read the second in the series, and I am fortunate that I have the second book, Chained to You, ready to read next.

I truly enjoyed this read and as the end came BOOM it ends in a CLIFFHANGER. I hate cliffhangers and almost always take a star away for them. I enjoyed this read so much that I am only taking .5 off for it. I am so looking forward to seeing what happens with Stella and Doctor Dean.

Stella is a pretty new widow who is trying to find her way and live with a lost love. She is still loves her dead husband but still has all her sexual feelings. She feels guilty when she takes part to get release. She spends a lot of time going back in time reliving when her husband was alive. Which I would think most of us would do. I do find Stella believable and I feel most of what she deals with or does would be done in real life. She thinks Doctor Dean is hot but goes on her merry way. She has a lot of bad things happen to her it seems she is being stalked. I look forward to seeing what happens there and who it might be.

Doctor Dean is a hottie with control issues, I have to wonder if he is for real and what we will find out about him as we read book two. He kind of reminds me of a stalker and defiantly knows what he wants and will go all the way to get it. Stella is what he wants and he is going full force to bring her to his way of thinking. I am kind of torn right now whether or not I like him or not. I do like my alpha males but something just isn’t right and things are not adding up for me.

Stella has a lot of lost loves, her husband, and best friend and there is the issue of Steve. He is a little weird. It will be interesting to see how he plays in the 2nd book. I do have a few issues with the story but I don’t feel I can post them for they would be spoilers. There is a lot going on here, with some twist and turns, I do love a romance mystery.

I do like the plot and the author has a nice writing style. She does get you into the book and she does leave you hanging. Just as you really get there and say wow it ends. I hear in book two the good doctor has a few things he is hiding, I wonder what they could be. I have some ideas but we will have to wait and see. You won’t really find out what the title of the book means until you reach the end. I am off now to read book 2 Chained To You.

Chained is free on Amazon at the time of this post. If you are interested you better get it now the price will not go down anymore than FREE. It is worth the read I really enjoyed it, kind of starts off a little slow but the author will pull you in very soon.

During the first half of this book I struggled to connect to Stella. It was clear that she was a new widow with two young boys, leaving the home her and Jack had built together for a fresh start without the memories, but still I couldn’t grasp what was driving her because the first half was drowning in her sexual need and her grief over her husband’s death. For me those two things are hard to mingle and weave together so I struggled understanding her during this part. Once I was half way through and the grieving widow took a few steps back and the woman Stella was becoming started to emerge, I was on board with the story and began enjoying it more.
Stella had few things in life, husband, two boys, their best friends, a hobby farm and a nursing degree. Now that the main force in life is gone due she is taking what she has left and starting a new life for her and her boys. This is when she meets the handsome and mega rich doctor, Dean. He can give her everything in life, he loves her, showers her with gifts and adventures and he adores her sons, but she doesn’t know if she loves him. I did have a hard time figuring out Dean, not sure if he is just a controlling man who could turn ugly if he didn’t get his way, or if he was just a confident alpha man who would always put her security first and foremost in every choice he made. He is still a mystery to me, but for right now I agree with her giving him a chance to see what he is about.
We read how Stella struggles with being in love with her husband who died a few months ago and this new found feeling she is having for Dean. Strange things start to happen like little notes and other events that leave her wondering who would want to hurt her. As if that wasn’t enough she loses a few other things that have been a stable force in her life. This will either push her closer to Dean or make her build thicker walls to protect what she has left. Just when she has decided how she feels, the lights go out in her world and we are left with a cliff hanger.
The story moves smoothly and rather quickly after the midway point in the book, or at least that I how I felt. I only have one complaint and that was once again, I had a hard time coming out of the gate with her contrasting feelings of losing her husband, not thinking anyone could ever fill that void but feeling the need for a sexual experience again. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Love this book, has everything I want in a book and more. A must read …

This is the first book in the Chained Series by SK Fordham.

I loved this book from the beginning, it builds up suspense and has a pretty awesome cliffhanger ending. Stella is a young mother with two boys who lost her husband under very tragic circumstances. This book begins with the young mum, having to sell her hobby farm and move her whole life, so she can start over somewhere where she can heal. Her husband was perfect in her eyes and she was very much in love with him. As Stella, goes through her grieving process, you see flashbacks of her past life with her husband including this gorgeous line:

“Stel, I love you. I will always be with you. You’re young and you are beautiful. Find love again.”

Stella longed for her husband, Jack. She had lots of trouble moving on, as a matter of fact I don’t think she really wanted to move on. Every memory for her is painful.

Finding love again is not easy for Stella, although the hot, sexy surgeon Dean stumbles into her life, she doesn’t quickly fall for him. Her life takes a different turn with Dean and he makes her see that love is worth taking a chance on.

The book has sad and emotional undertones and a plot which thickens as you get further into the book because all is not as it seems.

I cannot wait to read the next book in this series, and lucky for me it is out, so I will be leaping straight back into my Kindle to read it. Excellent debut novel and I give this book five bright shiny stars. I can thoroughly recommend the read.

Chained was a bit hard for me to get into. However, by the end of the story I really enjoyed the story and the characters.

There is a lot of flashback going on which is what made it hard for me to enjoy, but I understand why the author did it. Stella's husband was recently murdered during a hold up. The flashbacks give us snippets of their life together. She is having a really hard time moving on. She tries really hard for her two sons, Joel and Lucas, but is just going through the motions.

Cue Dean. As soon as he sees Stella he knows he has to get to know her. The two slowly start to form a tentative relationship. Stella feels guilty for even thinking about being with a man who isn't her husband. Dean is willing to take it slow. He is really patient and understanding with Stella.
Stella showed a lot of growth in this book. The author includes Stella's therapy sessions, so we really are involved with her healing.

In the beginning to probably about the middle of the book, the pace of the story was a bit too slow for me. I found myself struggling to read it, but then, I don't know what happened, the story seems to pick up pace and I became very interested. The author created very likable characters which I really enjoyed. Dean is definitely a hottie. You can't help but cheer Stella along her journey. Heads up, though, this book ends in a cliffhanger. However, book two is coming out this month, so you won't have to wait long. After the cliffy, I couldn't wait to get my hands on book 2, Chained to You.

Chained is about the life of Stella, who is recently widowed. She is still very much in love with her husband, Jack. She is trying desperately to move on with her life since the loss of her husband. There are “flash backs” to events that happened with her and Jack; so you get to see into the past and their relationship.

Stella seems to be moving along alright with her “new” life with her boys helping them cope with the loss, getting homework done, and getting the boys to soccer practice. She has also returned to her nursing job, so life is pretty busy for her which helps her cope with the loss of Jack.

Dr Dean is introduced as the new soccer coach. Very quickly you learn that he is interested in Stella and she hasn’t seemed to notice him at all. Every other woman in town is dying to get his attention. Once she gets involved with him; strange things start to happen to her. Very strange things …like someone is stalking her. Who would care that she is seeing Dean and why do they keep sending her threatening messages?

Chained had a great story line and was a fast paced read. It has romance, suspense, and strong characters. This book started like a roller coaster and never slowed down. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from SK Fordham. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense mixed with romance and steamy love scenes.

Moving on from the devastating loss of a loved one is never easy. When you throw in two children it is even harder. While trying to do what is best for herself and her children Stella makes the decision to move. This will allow them all to try and move on from their loss and hopefully find happiness again. Though memories never fade it is what Jack would want for Stella and the boys. Stella is going back to work and has enrolled the boys in some activities to keep them busy. During soccer camp Stella meets Dean. Dean is a doctor who is also working at the same hospital Stella will be soon. Dean is instantly attracted to Stella but she has no idea, One of her friends plans a weekend getaway and the place they go to is amazing. Things get a little out of hand and Stella is at a loss of how she ended up where she is. When she returns home Dean makes his intentions towards Stella very clear. Stella is not sure she is ready for all that Dean wants to offer. She soon starts to receive some very mysterious letters but does not let that detour her. Are these letters really just idle threats? Is someone out to make Stella’s lifer as miserable as possible? Will Stella allow herself the chance to be with Dean? Who is it that wants her out of the picture so badly? A gripping tale with a hell of a cliff hanger!
