In this eBook, we will know more about the Greyhounds including their historical background, their characteristics, their personality, and how to raise your very own Greyhound should you decide that this breed is the one for you – basically anything and everything there is to learn about this breed.
Unfortunately I found this book very vague, repetitive and didn't even cover basics of training and care. The section on common behaviour problems was particularly lacking. There was no in depth information on separation anxiety, nerves, prey drive and how to reduce or, soiling in the house and how to house train a dog with difficulties, poor recall, sleep aggression, territorial aggression, counter surfing, food stealing, dog on dog aggression and the many problems that might lead a person with a challenging dog. I'm glad I didn't pay for the book. It leads me to wonder how many greyhounds the author has adopted herself. I've had 4 over 10 yrs and that's not enough to be able to cover the information required by people who need help with their dogs. Greyhounds are each unique in personality but there are basic elements of common problems that need to be covered in order to satisfy those readers who need to refer to a book. The basic info in this book is available from adoption agencies anyway.
It was exceedingly basic. It wasn't well researched. It was confusing and had contradictory information at times. You're better off reading one of the well known greyhound books.
