Lifeless, pointless tale. The same old brief affair, 'mistress material not wife' rant from the hero.
Meet again after 2 years. He is back to wanting her as a Mistress. But she has a kiddo in tow. The same bulldozing, forcing her to move in with him. Lots of sex. But no warmth in their pairing.
She wants marriage , waits for him to come around to proposing. But he doesn't, so she does. And he says no ! Just 2 pages before the HEA. He still happy with the Mistress with kid arrangement!
Then he goes for expert consultation to his brothers and then suddenly decides marriage it is !
The stupid, needy, desperate sounding girl jumps at the idea. No real repentance for deserting her 2 years back. No regrets at the callous rejection he showed earlier in the day.
Just a "I've changed my mind, let's get married". And she jumps at it !! That's the author's idea of a HEA !!#$%$@@ Really !!!
