“So?” Stiles sputters, kicking his shoes into the corner and locking the front door behind him. He’d whipped out his phone the second he’d pulled up to the house, and miracle among miracles, Scott actually answered. Of course, he’s not so pleased about that now. “My dad thinks Derek and I are dating, Scott. Did you miss that part?”
The asshole actually has the audacity to laugh. As if this is somehow hilarious to him. Worst best friend ever. “No, I didn’t.”
Everyone (including the Sheriff) keeps thinking that Stiles and Derek are dating. Stiles doesn't know what the hell everyone is talking about ... but Derek is pining.
Cute, but I got bored during smexy times ... so kind of meh. A nice story, but not memorable.
Stiles and Derk have been living together for two years. It's a really close friendship that built during Stiles' senior year of high school and through college.
After Stiles got doene with college he moved in with Derek as roomies. The Sheriff has mistaken their closeness for dating and calls them on it. When he brings it up it absolutely floors Stiles. Then it makes Stiles think.
I was lost on some details such as the domesticity and them living together - no explanation is given until past halfway. Stiles is ULTRA oblivious to the point I was wondering why they'd not gotten together naturally at an earlier time. Got bored and was skimming by the sex scene.
This was a good fic but just missed the mark of being a great one. It had the usual Sterek formula, but Stiles' 'Stileness' felt a little forced and Derek seemed OOC about his feelings (didn't quite sound like Derek to me). Also Stiles was very oblivious and not in an entertaining way about his and Derek's relationship, more like 'what is everyone talking about'? I liked the flashback where Stiles was starting to realize their relationship might have been developing all along, especially when he was recalling slow dancing with Derek. Overall It was cute, and there was a great little sexy scene and sweet HEA.
Lol, funny your dad has to point out that you've actually been dating for two years and than bamn you realize how true it actually is after some talking.
