Cassidy Wren lost her mother at an early age then moved to her parents’ native state of Iowa with her distraught father. There she met Eddie, a son of farmers, who followed her dreams to sing and moved to New York. Tired of the constant rejection, a fateful phone call made them decide to relocate to her home town: Hampton, California.
Greg Mitchell, keyboard player for Negative Ion, is in the midst of a nasty custody battle with his ex and trying to
be strong for the sake of the band, who he considered his
brothers, while they attempt to heal from the loss of a brother.
Cassidy meets Greg and feels an instant attraction and acts on it, regret filling her instantly. Not only for cheating on hard-working Eddie but also for wanting more of Greg the instant he left her body in their unusual rendezvous spot.
Greg is not showing her that he cares one way or another. Her new friend, Kimber is in turmoil and no one will tell Cassidy why at first but soon, Kimber opens up and reveals some of what happened between her and her son’s father, Negative Ion drummer, Jaxen Malloy.
Cassidy is soon in a complete flux, not knowing who to choose: Eddie or Greg, even when it appears all Greg wants is to be inside her body but Eddie, who declares his love for her daily, can’t give her what she needs.

This book totally blew my mind, but in a good way. Cassidy has to choose between the hot and I do mean HOT attraction she has with Greg or the steady devotion but frustrated relationship she has with Eddie. Greg is a hot rocker from the amazing band Negative Ion, his world has been wrecked from the custody battle he is facing with his ex.
Cassidy is living a boring and unsatisfied life with her boyfriend Eddie. She has good friends and a steady man, but nothing sets her on fire until...
One fateful meeting between Greg and Cassidy sets them both on fire not to mention had my kindle smoking. Cassidy now must decide does she continue with Greg or does she resume the life she knows will never satisfy her.
Which would you choose: Hot and Passionate or Steady and Dependable? Just when you think you know what Cassidy will decide the twists that Ryanne loves to throw into her stories happen.
If this is your first book from Ryanne, you are in for a treat. Ryanne writes hot and steamy stories with a story that makes you feel every emotion you have. I have read every book from Ryanne to date and she hit it out of the park on this one. I have to say this is my favorite book of hers. I love how she pulls you in and makes you take this journey with her characters.

The first book in this series is Falling, do you need to read it first? Not really but it will help you understand some things that transpire so I suggest you read it first. This book is about Greg, Cassidy and Eddie. There are some twists and turns that will make your mouth drop open. Especially the part when... well I will let you read that for yourself.
Get your copy today you will not regret it, this is one book that is going to be re-read over and over again. Thank you Ryanne for once again pulling me into that mind of yours and showing me the genius of the writer that resides there.

OMG!!! Greg and Cassidy in the elevator, HOT,HOT,HOT! A MUST READ! 10+ stars for this one! I love this book! Now only if I can find me a Greg!
