I wanted to like this more. I like the concept, the setup. A woman's lover is burned at the stake as a witch while all she can do is helplessly watch. And yet, somehow, once the story turns to her seeking revenge, I lost interest. Maybe too similar to other supernatural stories, idk.

The author is apparently ripping people off on Kickstarter for their money, and not finishing
this novel even though she promised she would with the money obtained from fans.
That is awful. However, this is one of my favorite comics I've ever read, and I really wish
she finished this.
Great art, great story.
If you can find this anywhere for your collection, I suggest it.
If you want to hear more about the story, check out my YouTube channel, where I talked in depth about this comic. @obscurecomics.

This was kind of a middling story. It's a horror comic involving a rather Christianized version of magic and a woman who is both haunted and becomes a werewolf to get revenge. The art was engaging and rather more interesting than the story was to me, given my different perspective, though since this is part 1 of 6, perhaps it suffered more from being exposition than later issues would. Given my general disinterest from this first issue, though, I'm not likely to seek out later parts of this story.

This was a great start, I'd definitely read more. Also, after having read Five Ghosts, I really love Chris Mooneyham's art.
