William Kade is a ruthless businessman who plays dirty. He titillates all women and is rejected by none.
An orphan who comes from nothing, William has built an empire from a gaming club and an illegal fight club with his best friend and mentor, Charles. However, when profits decline, Charles and William decide to open the first hardcore sex club in the U.S.
With plans in the works to expand that business, they’re forced to take drastic measures to secure enough cash to pay the gaming club debts. Drastic measures that involve Ivy, a woman William already has unfinished business with. A woman who might be the only female that equally annoys and intrigues him.
But when William and Ivy start playing a dangerous game, the stakes become higher with each passing day until no one can find a sane way out.
A dark erotic, historical thriller.

Ms. Soraya Naomi has a unique and engaging way to tell a story. She has a characteristic writing style and plot development. I have noticed that she prefers her stories to be long, and to build up the suspense and drama in the second half of the book. I was blown away by the last few chapters. I was drawn into the story and didn’t want it to end.
Sins of a Bad Boy is a diverse, distinct and colorful story. In the first half of the book, the story is, at times, a little bit descriptive and too detailed. But, the character development is amazing! The author has a way of drawing you in until you almost become the characters. Also, I really like the depiction of life around the 1900’s and the representation of the specific historical time period.
The book contains foul language, breathtaking sex scenes, violence, unexpected twists, plots of revenge and action-packed storyline. It’s very emotional near the end and I will say that I absolutely adored William. This is a fascinating story full of secrecy, mystery and drama. The love story between William and Ivy had a lot of depth and the author has a unique smooth writing style which flows and the words grab your attention.
William and Ivy’s romance is hot juicy and untraditional. Their love is so intense that it can be felt through the pages. Don't read if strong language or explicit scenes bother you. This book is highly erotic with a bdsm kink. It drags you into the dark violent side of life and does not let you go.
I enjoyed the anticipation, the build-up to the characters finally coming together, and the description and emotions of both characters were brought across clearly. Great book for lovers of historical romance, inferno of heat and strong emotions!

My first historical romance, yay!!! I must thank the author for turning me into this genre, because there's something to be said about a romance set in the 1900's. The sex seemed almost forbidden and even, a million times more enticing. Also the hero in this story always trying to play by the rules of a rich society, but his raw and Alpha male nature would always shine through, setting him apart and making him my favorite character in this story.
William was an orphan and had a pretty rough childhood, he learned to fight to survive and that violence only grew with time helping him become a very successful fighter in the underground world. William and his partner, the man who became his mentor after helping him get out of a life of poverty, own a gambling club and their next venture is a sex club that caters to the people in Chicago's high society.
While trying to promote his new sex club, William meets a feisty redhead at a high society ball, and she's unlike any other woman he's ever met; she challenges him at every turn and doesn't fall easily for his charms. A few days later after she rejected him, faith will play it's part and William and Ivy find themselves entwined in a sea of lies and high sexual tension.
On the first part of the book I felt completely enthralled by the story, specially by William and Ivy's interactions. They fought and loved with the same intensity and passion but on the second half of the book all my interest was lost and the more I read the more I disconnected from the story. The added twists on this second half only confused me and it almost felt like I was reading a completely different book.
I love Soraya Naomi's writing style, her novels always take me into a world of passion and exquisite characters, so I will continue to read her books and I still wait desperately for more of my favorite, Adriano.
"Their mistakes brought them together. Their sins tied them together. Their love bound them together.
This was a 2.5 stars for me, and I really think that it might have been the case that I just couldn't get into it. I had a hard time feeling a connection with the hero or the heroine. I found that the heroine's personality wasn't consistant through out the book and that became very distracting to me. Another issue I had was that during the first half of the book the story was overly descriptive at times and it became somewhat too much. I would not want my opinion to sway someone from giving this story a try though. I feel that there will be a lot of readers who enjoy this story very much.
"Sins of a Bad Boy" has a lot of the things that we enjoy in a great romance book. William is a fighter, as well as an owner of a sex club/gambling club. He ends up getting a lot of money stolen, and he kidnaps the person he thinks is responsible for taking his money. This would be Ivy, and William has a tiny bit of history with her, and definitely history with her father. Once she is in captivity with him though, nothing goes a it should for William. There is major sexual chemistry between this couple, and the lines between being an enemy or a lover fade really fast.
There is a lot that takes place during this book, and the second half I found was a lot better than the first. This read is not for the faint of heart though as there are lots of scenes that have some kinky sex in them..considering a good portion takes place at a sex club, you can imagine the happenings that go on in there. If you are looking for a read that is outside of the box, then give this one a go. It comes out September 5, and for some I'm thinking this will be exactly what they are looking for.

I received an ARC COPY of this book "Sins of a Bad Boy" by the author Soraya Naomi for an honest review. I loved it! I enjoyed it very much. Great story! I had to stop towards the end of the book to get a box of Kleenex to wipe away the tears from my eyes. I won't say anymore... I highly recommend this book for a great read.
I received an ARC from the Author is exchange for an honest review!
I give this book 5 stars!! I did not want to put this book down and got frustrated when I did have too.
This is my favorite book by Soraya Naomi to date. This book has it all Lies, Drama, Suspense, Violence and HOT Steamy scences.
I loved William he is cocky and sure of himself, but is that who he really is or is a fascade? He has had a rough childhood, things did not come easy for him at all.
Ivy is a feisty one, who is she really?
I dont want to give any of the story away, but this is a must read book, for those 18+
☆ I received an ARC via Give Me Books in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆
I have mixed feelings about this one. The story, itself, was interesting and intriguing.
But, the writing in the beginning was really rough, and, I just could not connect with either of the protagonists.
In an entirety, the vibe I got while reading was "misplaced." Things just didn't click, everything seemed a little rift-raft and over dramatic or over the top, and *I can't believe I'm going to say this,* but there was way too much sex for my taste!! Ugh. Made me at times, skip, or skim over from period to period.
I wanted more development and progression within this story, as well as, a tint of realism embedded in the plot and characters.
Maybe it's just me, but, I could not picture a character such as William during 1900 and the language/ way of speaking he and the rest of the cast used. It just didn't match the time period.
Sorry, if I'm being a little harsh and critical, but these were the inklings of what were going through my mind while I was reading.
All in all though, I suspect most would greedily eat this novel up but it was a toss up for me.
I was gifted a copy of this book f o r an honest review. I was skeptical about reading this book, it said Historical Romance, not my favorite type of book. But I dove in and I am so glad I did. What a beautiful love story! Yes there was a lot of violence, but also many moments that brought me to tears. William and Ivy's story was troubled but so worth reading. It was written beautifully and just keep me reading. It is a definite must read book!!!
Oh wow!!! I loved this book so much. I'm not a fan of historical books but I received an ARC in return for an honest review. I'm so glad I read it. Soraya never disappoints. She has an amazing talent. Her books and characters draw you in from the start.
It's a pretty dark story at times with a lot of amazing sex scenes that puts 50 shades, and others, to shame. So if that's what you like to read, then look no further. Highly recommend this book. Cried like a baby too
Received this as an ARC from the author. Another amazing book! Absolutely loved it. Can't wait for her next book. So well written. If you want the sexy, hot and heavy then this is it! You won't be disappointed.
Soraya Naomi has delivered a hot, sordid, emotional and suspenseful tale that engages and thrills the reader from start to finish. I admit is has been quite a while since I've read historical fiction, but I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The title of the book is so fitting, as William is a bad boy through and through. He is sexy, charming, and cocky, and makes no apologies. Ivy was a mystery for the first part of the book. We are given her POV in the second part of the book, and that is when the truth behind who she is unravels. The back and forth between William and Ivy was so intriguing. These are two characters who have lived hard lives and experienced much hardship at a young age. During their time together they both play games with each other, both and in and out of the bedroom, and it is interesting trying to guess what their true intentions are and how things will play out.
What I love about this author's writing is that she really takes her time to develop the characters. There are no one-dimensional characters in her books, so you really feel like you are experiencing things right along with them, feeling their pain and sorrow, and rejoicing during their triumphant moments. The relationship between William and Ivy was not an easy one. There is a ton of angst in this story as they try to navigate their feelings for each other among the lies and secrets between them. The odds were seemingly stacked against them, and I was rooting hard for them to make it through to their HEA. Overall this was another thrilling read by a truly talented author.
I've always loved Soraya's books and this is no exception.
William Kade was an orphan with nothing until he met Charles. Charles saw something special in William and took him in. He taught William to be a fighter, a man and an entrepreneur. A love them and leave them kind of guy, William had no idea how much his life was about to change until he met Ivy.
Ivy caught William's attention immediately. He believed her to be from a high society family and when William and Charles's money went missing, he suspected her. This will lead them down a path neither expected.
This is a dark romance, filled with love, lust, hate, loss, sadness and betrayal. With an ending that I guarantee you will not have seen coming.
Grab this book when it goes live on 9/5. You won't regret it!
ARC provided by author for honest review. I was very excited to get to read the book, then when I started to read it the time period was not one I usually like to read so I stopped and debated. I decided to follow through with reading this book and I am glad I did. William was very hard to like at first but he definitely grows on you especially by the end. Ivy well she's a hand full and I will leave it at that. Lol. I was crying by the end of this book. I really enjoyed it so glad I read it
I could not put this book down! I was immediately drawn to the story of William and Ivy. Two people with secrets and pasts that could possibly destroy them. I don't want to say more except read it! This story was intense, romantic, and sinfully delicious!
I was sucked into the story from the very beginning, interested to find out more about William and his life. It had a perfect balance of suspense romance and angst. I loved the way that Soraya brought William and Ivy together, their story was equal parts romance hot sex and true love, even though they had many battles to overcome. I was kept on my toes throughout waiting to see which way things would turn out between William and Ivy. A beautiful story not to be missed.
~I was given this for an honest review~ I have to give this book a 4.5 star rating cause there were times I thought it dragged. Also I had issues with how many chances William gave her. She was obviously playing him but he couldn't see since he was so wrapped up in himself and the business. William really did have good intentions but for most of the book he was so wrapped in the power of money and everything that goes with it. Hence why he kidnapped Ivy. I'm still not sure how he could fall in love with when she was lying to him and being deceitful the whole time. I mean she pretended to be someone else. If you get passed all the evil in this book, it really is a good book. I enjoyed reading it. This book is very graphic with violence, so if you're not comfortable with that then either skip over the parts or don't read it. I mean like beating, shoving your own teeth down your throat kinda things and cutting off fingers.
William, came from nothing and met his mentor after escaping his foster parents house. His mentor, Charles taught him everything about business and soon they are starting a gambling/fight/sex club. A first in their town so it's secret. They get so caught up in greed that they start being violent to the people who steal and betray them. They are feared by everyone. Ivy, is still struggling thru life but has the help of her brother Sean and their friend Ben. They come up with a plan but instead it gets Ivy kidnapped by William. She is a very shady character, lies a lot during this book especially hiding something HUGE from him ( I still don't know how she did that), she's very sneaky but it always comes back to bite her in the butt. William is constantly around her cause he knows she's a thief but soon they can't help but to feel things for each other. This is not a sappy romance. This is more like, I love you but I can't stop hiding things from you so we can't be together kinda love. It's gets really annoying at times. You'd think after so long she'd just stop and get her act together and after a long period of time she finally does. William also proves that he does have a heart and that he can love. He is still money hungry but not nearly as much. He has so much more to live for. I hope I haven't gave to much away. If you are comfortable with everything I mentioned above then I would recommend reading it, just know Ivy may make you want to throw your kindle and call her names. Granted she is young but that doesn't stop from her being so naive and annoying.
Here is a quote from the book that I think helps sums up William and Ivy. "Their mistakes brought them together. Their sins tied them together. Their love bound them together." If you read the book it will make sense, I promise.

I received Sins of a Bad Boy by Soraya Naomi in an ARC in exchange for my honest review. I gave this book five stars. Sins of a Bad Boy is based in the 1900 in Chicago I have never been interested in reading a book that is based in those times, But Soraya Naomi has changed my mind the way she told William and Ivy story made me forget that they lived in a time where there was no modern day simple things like condoms lol. This was my first time reading one of Soraya books, and I must say she is an amazing writer. This Author had me so enthrall in this story that I just couldn't get enough of William and Ivy. I loved how the Author didn't make it easy for them to get there happy ending she made them work for it. I also love that she made them go through so many obstacles to achieve what they both needed from each other which was trust and unconditional love, and after everything they have been through with deaths, blindness, and Ivy not telling William she had his baby they finally found there happy ending. They also finally created a family and a life that they always wanted but never had. If you have not read this book read it because you will fall in love with this book like I did. What I also love about this book is through this whole book Ivy and William both become the bad guy. The reason I loved this was because you realize that these two really are soul mates it was like they both knew how to destroy each other and in the end they did, but that's what made them even was because they both realized how they were made for each other.
4 slow-start to a beautifully written story stars.
The only reason this wasn't a 5-star was because
a. the time period was never mentioned and i kept trying to figure it out which distracted me from the actual story.
b. I hated the heroine.
William.. oh lordly i adored William. I wanted him to find his happily ever after.. i wanted him to live a beautiful life with a woman he loved who loved him wholly in return. I did not want this woman to be the heroine.
I have never disliked a heroine as much as i did Ivy. I never once felt sorry for her and as the story continued my dislike for her only worsened. I didn't think she deserved her happiness in the end.. i feel badly for feeling this way but good lord the woman was a liar and big fat liar over and over and over again.
Without William this story wouldn't have worked. He saved it.
I believe any book that evokes strong emotions in me deserved a minimum of 4 stars even if i hated the heroine. The sheer fact that i have strong emotions about this book means that the author did something right, she made me feel, she made me root for William, she made me want him to find his happiness.
The heroine is definitely a strong-willed woman and if you like strong heroine's you may like Ivy, i don't care for them personally, and perhaps she's redeemable in your eyes? You won't know until you give it a read now will you.
Later i discovered this story was based in 1900 so i don't want you to be distracted by the time period.. i'm giving it to you ;)
I have read several books by Soraya Naomi and I was enjoy them. I can say the same about this as well. The others I have read are her Mafia books and this was something new and she did a wonderful job with this as well. This book had a great build up to it and I just couldn't wait to find out what happens when the lies that William and Ivy have told each other come out. Will their relationship be able to survive all the lies and deceit? What does William do when he learns about Ivy's latest secret? Will they be able to forgive each other?
I highly recommend this book. I think you will enjoy it, I know that I did!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Soraya had done it again and what an awesome love story! This story showed the trials, tribulations, and darkness what life throws in people's lives. The characters in the book blended pretty well and while reading it feels like you are watching a movie in technicolor. The story is also extremely hot & the sex scenes are pretty sensual. Looking forward to the next book in this series hopefully it would be on Silk or Sean. You rock Soraya & congrats again!
I am in love with William Kade! Full of ruthless mafia types and more crooked people than Lombard Street. Not lacking in excitement and twists at every turn. I was caught up in William and Ivy from the start and it just escalated as the story continued. My emotions were all over the place, as I was swept along with the book. Step back in time to a crazy time of smuggling liquor, gambling houses and sex clubs. Awesome! Book provided by author in exchange for an honest revie.
Omg this book was fantastic! I have just been through every emotion possible. I have laughed cried and felt so much for these characters. I need another day to recover an write a detailed review. Homerun Soraya!!
I receive an ARC from the author for an honest review...well here goes my honest review.
This story stuck with me afterwards. I loved reading the character development of William and Ivy and the Wicked games they played (que Chris Isaak, anyone know the song?) the ending got me...heart tugging and I just wanted more from the Bonnie and Clyde before there was a Bonnie and Clyde...
However, I do have some grips about the book. This could have been two books. The first part was a little slow and I was not really into it at first. Around 43%, I couldn't put the book down! I stayed up late last night because my heart hurt for William and Ivy. I also wanted to know why it was written in third person when you had two POV's in the second part? Lastly, I am a history buff and am a Chicago girl. Had to make sure the historical places in the book where mentioned correctly. "L" trains where around because of the 1893 Columbian Exposition. Cars...just came out. Dusable? Could be true and the lighthouse was there...anyways, great job Soraya! I have not been disappointed in anything you have written! Now, can we have a book about Silk and his long hair?
I received an ARC COPY of this book "Sins of a Bad Boy" by the author Soraya Naomi for an honest review.
I'm not even sure where to begin with this book. I loved Soraya Naomi's Chicago Syndicate series and knew this one would also be good. I had no idea just how good it would be.
If you like your books to keep you in the edge of your seat, keep you guessing on what will happen next, have you laughing one moment and crying the next, make you feel like you need a COLD shower after the sex scenes... this book is definitely for you!
I wanted to hate William but I just couldn't bring myself to do it because you just know that he's broken inside due to his childhood. I loved Ivy and her feistiness. She gave William's attitude right back to him.
The beginning took me a little to get into but keep at it because this book and the ending is SO worth it! There are many twists and turns and it will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat!
This is a ten on my rating scale. I don't read historical fiction often, but this one left me speechless, absolutely amazing. Soraya has become a top author for me, I enjoyed the Chicago syndicate series, but this book took it to a whole other level. WOW! This is not your typical love story, it is one that is filled with lies, deceit, crime, and angst. There are numerous sex scenes and some are so HOT, I had to stop a few times to cool myself down. It is not a light read, There are very dark moments. The characters are portrayed perfectly, William is someone you want yo hate but can't. Ivy is so feisty and so strong, I couldn't do anything but love her. There are so many twists and turns you don't see coming. I truly don't think I could have taken anymore. Tissues are a must towards the end of the book. You need to grab a copy and find out for yourself what a fantastic story Soraya has unfolded.
William and Ivy are both broken individuals who are brought together by unusual circumstances. During their time together, there's mystery, suspense, dark/hot romance, and they develop a relationship of sorts. This was about the first 50% of the book, the steady ride up the rollercoaster. Once the truth comes out, the rest of the book is like the drop of the rollercoaster and finding out where their relationship takes them. Will they destroy each other? Forgive each other? Find happiness and love?
I did feel the first 50% was a bit predictable. I felt like I knew the truth behind the characters. However, all though the truth came out, the rest of the story was a whirlwind of emotions and actions. I found myself teary up several times!!!
This is worth the read if you're looking for some twists and emotions in a story!
This was my first book by the lovely Mrs. Soraya Naomi, and I can tell you all that it most certainly will not be my last. Mrs. Naomi paints a world that is so vivid and detailed that you can close your eyes and be transported there. I often times found myself lost in her words and the places she took you too. I felt like a peeping Tom just watching everyone hassle around about their days and nights. I think I enjoyed peeping on William and Ivy during their nights in Sins, wowza!
This was the love story of the original bad boy, William Kade and his sassy lady Miss. Ivy. When William first meets Ivy, he is taken back by her beauty. He has never met a woman who has kept his interest after he has his wicked way with them. Yes, our bad boy William is a player of the most sinister variety, and damn is he just amazing at it. The sexual chemistry between William and Ivy was off the charts hot, I’m talking five alarm fire hot! However, as amazing as their sexual rendezvous are there is something that troubles him about his connection with Ivy, and the connection alone drives the man to the brink of insanity. William hates that he needs her, hates that he enjoys her company, hates that he wants her and her alone. But there are some tricks up Ivy’s sleeve and she has her own spell to weave.
What I really enjoyed about this story was that just when you think you have something figured out, Mrs. Naomi pulls the rug out from under you and you are left with your jaw on the ground. No point in picking said jaw up because in a few flips of the page you will be picking it right back up! This book has it all, secrets, lies, sex, dirty talk, hot headed alpha men, sassy ladies, and so much more. I often found myself on the edge of my seat, or looking for a quite corner to sneak in a few more pages. From love, to hate, and everything in between, the journey that Mrs. Naomi takes you on is one unforgettable ride. I recommend this book to anyone who has ever wanted to sin with the bad boy and live to tell the tale.

I was given an ARC for a honest review. Wow I had to step away and gather my thoughts on this one. The first chapter was a little slow but then Bam I was sucked in and couldn't put it down. The twists and turns in this book. Several time I was like ETC did that just happen. So much is going on in this book. Will their love survive the deceit? Buy this book and find out.
