I fell madly in love with this story. The cabaret, the characters, everything. It's been a while since a lesbian novel captivated me so much. I loved it from beginning to end. Interesting characters, sensual moments beautifully narrated. The chemistry between the protagonists is some of the best I've ever read. Just to name a nitpick, some moments feel a bit rushed, but overall, I loved the pace. I recommend it without hesitation; one of the titles to keep in mind for 2025.

It's a very good novel, don't get me wrong, but maybe it's not my style and that's why it didn't quite resonate with me. I admit it's very well written, the story is solid, and I liked the characters. I just don't resonate with this type of novel. I read it because I had Kindle Unlimited and I like crime novels. If you like them and you're also into lesbian romance, I highly recommend it.

Okay, this is one of those treasure troves of novels you come across very rarely. I'm going to try to write a review without spoilers, which is difficult, but overall, I really enjoyed the plot, the events, and especially the characters. As a true fan of crime thrillers, I liked the detail and the inspiration from other novels in the genre.
On a personal level, I think it shows great dedication on the part of the author to convey the story, making it her own and managing to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the novel.
I may not be a literary expert, but I find the story very interesting, with very well-developed characters (I'm a big fan of Lola), even though it sometimes develops quickly at times. For my taste, lengthening the crime part would have led to a slower pace and, therefore, greater intrigue and greater insight into the characters.
On a personal level, it stirred a lot of things inside me; I really empathized with some of the characters (especially Carla). That's a great achievement.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with the world. I encourage you to continue on this path, and I'm very strong for any criticism you may have.

Well, I didn’t expect this book to hit me the way it did. I started it out of curiosity, what’s a queer thriller set in a Barcelona cabaret going to offer me, a 39-year-old dad with little time and a lot on his plate? Turns out: everything.
Muñeca de trapo is not just a story, it’s a wound that opens and closes as you read. Carla, the protagonist, is fragile and brave in a way I haven’t seen in fiction for a long time. And Lisa… God, Lisa is magnetic, dangerous, tender, and terrifying. Their relationship is a dance between desire and destruction, and it feels real. The atmosphere? Stunning. Gritty, sensual and poetic.
This isn’t a thriller you devour in one sitting. It’s one that follows you to bed. It stares at you from your bookshelf and says “you felt something, didn’t you?”. Yes. I did!

It's a very good thriller and romance novel. I loved the chemistry between Carla and Lisa. It's been years since I've read such well-defined and narrated chemistry and flirtation. It has truly exquisite moments and lines that leave their mark. It was a real discovery. As a fan of LGBTI novels, it's a must-read.
