In this unapologetically bold reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic, Elizabeth Bennet does not walk away from Mr. Darcy’s disastrous first proposal—she kisses him. What begins as fury becomes fire, and soon the parsonage walls at Hunsford can no longer contain the passion that explodes between them.
But desire has consequences.
As the proud, private master of Pemberley and the sharp-tongued country gentleman’s daughter surrender to a reckless, all-consuming affair, their world begins to unravel. Scandal stalks them. Society judges them. And love—raw, obsessive, defiant—demands they risk everything to claim it.
Unbound is an incendiary tale of seduction, surrender, and a marriage forged not in duty—but in flames.
Dare to fall in love with Darcy again… only this time, without restraint.
I have no principled objections to steamy variations but I like my steam to make a bit more sense in the context than this. In the blink of an eye, she goes from hating him to giving him her virginity (we assume) in a sexathon, without a care of the consequences.
In the Annals of This Would Never Happen: Darcy proposes in Kent, and gets rejected. She is mad at him, but they kiss, and then he gets under her skirts and they have sexual intercourse. (Because why not.) He destroys her clothing, she undresses him, they have sex again. In the parlour of the parsonage. while servants are around and the Collinses and Maria might come back at any time. But, well, she wants his body. Then she says that it doesn't mean that she accepts his proposal, yet is content to lay there naked with him, waiting to be discovered. No, wait, they're not in the parlour anymore, they're in Mr. Collins's study, and Darcy has spent the night. Charlotte and Collins are back but apparently nobody noticed. (Although Charlotte suspects something.) He arranges other trysts while in Kent.
Later they meet while Elizabeth is touring Pemberley with the Gardiners and nobody notices that she sneaks off to have sex with the master. In one chapter, Elizabeth has traveled to London and stays in Darcy's townhouse. But the house is also spoken of as if they're at Pemberley. He asks her to marry him several times and sometimes she agrees but then it's apparently in question again and they drag it out, living together before they are married, not worrying about scandals. At one point Darcy says that he ought to be punished for something, but he goes on to spank her instead.
My favourite part was a dirty letter that he wrote her.
If you want to read lots of steamy scenes, this book has little else to distract you from the sex but everything is rather OOC and difficult to believe.
Warning: Meant for mature audiences. Contains scenes that would scandalize the ton. Readers of a delicate constitution are advised to keep their fans and vinaigrettes close at hand. Contains steamy and passionate scenes.
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. You will see the most beloved characters in a whole new way. This is a Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice variation. This is an incendiary tale of seduction, surrender, and a marriage forged not in duty, but in flames. Dare to fall in love with Darcy again, only this time, without restraint.

It’s a must read. I highly recommend to everyone.
This story is so steamy I feared for my iPad. It may be without a plot, but it is well written. I perfect mix of hot, romance, and absolute naughtiness! 5 stars for an insatiable D and E. (Poor innocent Georgianna and the servants)
