Rabble, a nobody from the wrong side of town. Skye, the mayors daughter and too good for him. Friends since childhood, dreams were shared and plans were made where love blossomed. One day everything shattered along with hearts. Years later, circumstances throw them together again. A sweet love story about love intertwined with political aspirations of those who are supposed to love unconditionally.

A Beautifully Layered Love Story That Transcends Barriers

From the very first page, this story captured my heart. What begins as a childhood friendship—two souls separated by a simple fence—quickly reveals itself as a profound commentary on the invisible lines drawn by wealth, status, and family expectation.

The reunion of the main characters is equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking. Their chemistry feels authentic, grounded in a shared past but tested by a complex present. Just when it seems love might triumph, the shadows of manipulation add depth and urgency.

One of the aspects I appreciated most was the author’s ability to explore intimacy with grace. The romantic moments are emotionally charged, without ever relying on graphic detail—something that takes skill and subtlety.

This book is a moving exploration of connection, sacrifice, and the courage it takes to choose love in the face of expectation. A must-read for anyone who enjoys character-driven romance with emotional depth and elegant storytelling.

Skye and Rabble have a very beautiful second chance romance. They are both so hurt and struggling about the past they both share. The healing and journey is one that I felt every emotion. A great story.
