WHAT’S NEXT FOR OPTIMUS PRIME? The Autobots revive a group of allies who could change the tide of their war with the Decepticons, but they don't know who or what is coming for them... This issue features key first appearances of fan favorite characters from the worlds of TRANSFORMERS and** G.I. JOE**.
Daniel Warren Johnson is a Chicago-based comic book writer, artist, and illustrator. He's worked on titles for most major publishers, including Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, and Image. His current series with Skybound/Image Comics is EXTREMITY, a sci-fi/fantasy title he is writing and drawing, and continues to update his webcomic Space-Mullet in his spare time.
The monster has arrived and he is as terrible as he should be.
Last issue showed how Megatron became the horror that he is and this INE shows him in action. It also shows Optimus being the "gentle giant" and warm father that he should be. The next couple issues are going to be awful for our bots.
Inevitablemente los G.I.
Megatron is back and he has ended the Decepticon schism on Earth. Megatron has shown again how merciless he is against his enemies and traitors to his cause.
Corona continues some of the best work in his career, emulating DWJ's art style on this title along with several flourishes of his own.
Along with the main story, more connecting threads to the other parts of the Energon Universe, with the appearance of Doc from G.I. Joe.
As a fan of Megatron - ALL HAIL Megatron, it is nice to see him represented as the Big Level Game Boss he is. Capable of true devastation even in a diminished form. Looks, brains, Meg's got it all!
"Then there's gotta be a sunrise at some point." Another great issue. Megatron is on the war path and things are shaping up to be spicy over the next several issues. This was a brutal one.
Really really great issue! Megatron is back! He had some absolutely brutal scenes, I love what he did to starscream! I loved that moment between Optimus and Spike talking about his dad in the matrix, I hope we get more into that in the series as well.
