Yes, this is indeed the extended universe of “the pillow one” sentient object romance. I read the whole thing and had the stupidest grin on my face the entire time because there is something about this universe and these characters that is so heartwarming to me. I like that the characters are figuring out how to live a normal life amidst surrealist circumstances. So much of it is just slice-of-life moments with people madly in love with each other! I love love!
