When Peter Thompson’s best buddy, Brandon Ray discovers there’s a fraternity in town willing to pay two hundred dollars to anyone who spends Halloween night in old Scarborough Manor, he drags Peter and dorm oddball, Creepy Connor along to keep him company. Not one of my better ideas to start reading this at 11pm... Just finished it now at 11:55pm... So now I have to go to bed at some point and since this story truly freaked me out not looking forward to it...
I kept waiting for the big reveal when someone or someones step out from behind the curtain and says "It's all a joke!" Yeah that didn't happen... The author is seriously talented in bringing the scared shitless on... Yeah I'm going to bed soon, just as soon as my heartrate gets a bit closer to normal! I literally don't do horror... Frankenstein and friends, sure thing. But actual scary shit not me! I was the guy who used to have truly horrible nightmares throughout high school so yeah this was not what I was expecting! OK enough... 5 "Oh this is a real horror story" stars read!

Whoa! And that's what you call a horror story. My GR friend Len wasn't kidding. Scary as hell, edge of your seat, hide behind a pillow scary. Loved it!
The fact that there is also friendship, laughs, romance and erotica is absolutely remarkable. In a short novella no less.
Spook me impressed. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a good scare. Keep in mind it's horror.
I will definitely read more from this author.

This is the first (and definitely not last) story I have read from S.C. Wynne. I enjoyed every second of it. And since I am already freaked out by stone angels from Dr. Who, this was deliciously frightening.

This is a deliciously creepy story, perfect for Halloween! Loved Creepy Connor and Peter, and wouldn't say no to reading more about these two! (And Brandon. He seems like a cool dude too)

A Great Short!
The characters of Brandon, Peter and Connor were friends engaged in a college prank which took place on Halloween. You could taste the tension throughout the story and you'll root for the characters from the beginning.
Frightening, humorous and touching.

Short, Sexy, Scary and just Steamy enough to be great.
Brandon loads his car up with candy and booze and heads to the local “Haunted House” on Halloween night with his roommate Peter and loner Connor in hopes of winning a couple hundred dollars. All they have to do is spend the night in the basement of said house and take a picture with the angel statue that is there. The house is beyond creepy, and cold, but what really sets this trio off is when they take a look back at their selfies with the required angel only to see something truly evil.
First Brandon goes missing, then they find a seriously fiendish doll in the attic just before they receive a visit from a couple ghosts. Peter and Connor decide to hold up in the basement, hoping Brandon is playing a trick on them. The evenings events quickly catch up with Peter and he drifts off wrapped up in a warm sleeping bag, and Connor’s arms. What they share has to be a dream, right? Peter will be sure to ask Connor, if they can find their friend and make it out of Scarborough Manor alive.
What a fast, fun little scary story! The setup was spectacular; three would be dumb college kids getting drunk and binging on junk food then passing out and waking up two hundred dollars richer. Aside from the demonic angel statue, a couple pestering poltergeists, a fucking psycho doll worthy of casting in Annabelle and an ages old entity that is pure evil… it really was a solid plan. I loved the mystery off the story, where was Brandon? Who were the ghosts? Were they helping or hindering? And the romance was the perfect balance amid the storm inside this house of horror.
A must read for fans of spooky stuff with a bit of romance sprinkled in there to ground the overall story.

What a deliciously creepy gem. Not sure how it crossed my path but boy am I glad it did. Until the Morning may be a short story but a brilliant blend of fright, romance, humor, friendship, and did I mention fright?
Connor, Peter, and Brandon all bring great friendship elements to this ghostly story that just heightens the fear factor for me. It's creepy enough to think of being stuck in a haunted house but to worry about your companions as well somehow makes the fear that much more believable.
Don't even get me started on the angel statue. Triple props to the author for the Doctor Who reference, not only am I a Whovian but the Weeping Angels are one of creepiest foes he faced(IMO) so I'll admit even without the author's mention, it's always the first thing I think of when I read/see angel statues.
I couldn't help but think of the classic film The Haunting(the 1963 original not the remake) when I read this, not because anything in it actually resembles the film but the overall blending of "is it really happening?" and "Holy Crap! did you see that?" kept coming to mind. SC Wynne's Until the Morning is what I like to label "low on quantity but high on quality". If you are looking for a tale of ghostly fright, then this is definitely for you.

This ain't no scooby doo episode, and the creepy factor is real. I'd give it five stars if the last chapter hadn't felt a little disjointed and/or rushed. But if you're looking for a little haunted house time, this'll work!

Awesome story. I wish a movie were made of this but extending it to a full-length novel. I wanted it to be longer.
