Unqualified: Where You Can Begin to be Great

Rate this book
God uses the most unqualified people!
Have you ever heard someone say, “God would never use me,” “My past has disqualified me,” or “I am not gifted enough.” Though these statements appear to be rooted in insecurity, they are sincere statements from the hearts of so many wounded and beleaguered Christians.
This book is a journey into the realization that God has called all of us regardless of our history or gifts. The greatest battle we face as Christians is based on whether we believe God can actually use us to do His work. Unqualified will teach the reader the truth about God’s character and His plan to use every submitted person. The book will also:
Reveal the pitfalls and traps waiting to stop the mission God has assigned you to lead
Teach that God has always relied on ordinary people to propel His message
Help you release excuses, confront your past, and rise up and lead

Loved this book! Pat Schatzline is a great man of God who has a heart for everyone to come to know a Heavenly Father who loves them & has called them to a life of purpose. This book is great for anyone who thinks God can't use them because of their past failures, or their lack of a spiritual resume, etc. but it's also a great reminder for those who think they've "got it together" as well.

Unqualified on the surface, speaks to the underdog, the Remnant, who are the ones others would never suspect God could use, the ones with scars & shady pasts. But it goes much deeper than the "obvious" unqualified.

What I mean by that is, there are definitely people with crazy testimonies of God's deliverance in their lives or maybe they have certain "flaws" that one might think, "Yeah, that's who he's talking about in this book. They're definitely unqualified."

But the thing is, none of us are qualified, and so to some, the lesson learned in this book may be, "How could God use me? I'm a nobody- I'm unqualified." But for others, "Wow, I thought I was somebody on my own. But I am nothing without Him. I am unqualified. Now that I know this, God can really begin to use me." It's a great reminder for anyone that wants to be used by God. You find that because of your lack of qualifications, You are empowered with His qualifications.
