Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

Very cute! It shows problem-solving and that good always wins. It says that taking things that aren’t yours is mean. Chelsea has lost her three magical items a yellow tulip, a ballon, and a diploma. Each items represents a part of working towards the congratulations. The tulip gives courage the ballon gives confidence and the diploma means completion. The book is about fairies and mentioned goblins and Jack Frost. The two main characters get turned it fairies and get all the items back. Overall, it is a very cute story!

Another fairy book read with my daughter. This one she read the first half out loud and I read the second half. This one was also a special edition so she loved finding the hidden letters to make the word at the end. This is a great series for little girls and we never read them in order and still enjoy the story lines.

This book could be used as a read aloud for intermediate classes. It is a fantasy chapter book geared for intermediate level readers. The main characters, Rachel and Kirsty are on their way to Ivy's graduation but encounter trouble from Jack Frost who has stolen the fairy's three magic objects. The fairy prevails and the celebration was able to happen. It would be a good book to read aloud or to have students read themselves who are reading at the appropriate level.

I liked it when Rachel and Kirsty went to the zoo and saw the goblins selling magic ballons.
