Very interesting. The characters kept me reading, the plot was very good and I got sucked into the story until it was over. I can't wait to see what else this author has for me to read. Very good :)

Outstanding Book

This book was wonderfully well written. It was very short, although I'm really only complaining because I wish it would have been so much longer. It had vivid, relatable characters, an amazing adventure, a beautiful love story, sexy leading men, scorching hot scenes, and mind boggling landscape descriptions that were so creatively done, it was so realistically brought to life with clever wording, it almost felt like I was there in real life. I was instantly engaged with the story, and for me if that doesn't happen immediately, I can't finish reading the book; and along with this story and characters that it made it so it was so very hard to set down. I definitely didn't want to stop reading for a moment!! This Author is one to watch for and I will be willing to buy any other series that are this well written, that she offers in the future!

Interesting read and take on shifters. Christopher is one of many that has been tricked into joining an agency that has forced people to become shifters. As a result, Christopher was turned into a wolf and forced to work for the agency that turned him. With the help of other shifters, he was able to escape his capture and try to regain his life--only problem is that he has no memory of anything prior to his capture.

As luck would have it, one of the former employees of the CASO agency that turned people into shifters finds Christopher and presents him with a file that has information about his previous life. He finds out he had a girlfriend named Hannah and seeks her out. Much to her surprise, he shows up on her doorstep and she's not sure how to deal with it. Thinking he was dead and dealing with the heartbreak that ensued, she's not sure what to think about his situation, or theirs for that matter. Unfortunately for them, they have to deal with it quickly because it seems that CASO is trying to get the escaped shifters back.

I liked the premise of this book. The beginning was a little slow and it almost felt as if the book may have started where a previous one left off instead of being a stand-alone novel. Some parts later in the book seemed like they should have gone into more detail, or possibly even halted all together and continued on in a sequel. I do hope the author continues on with part of the story line in another book. Overall it was a good read.

A HOWLING GREAT READ !

Wow! Rain has once again demonstrated her never ending talent and imagination in this amazing release, Alpha In The City. The story is exciting, well written, compelling, romantic and sexy. The characters are fascinating, quirky and intriguing. The dialog is smart and well articulated. The story and characters draw you in and capture your imagination and your heart. Handsome wolf shifter, Christopher, wants his life and his memories back. They were stolen from him by CASO, Certified Animal Soldiers Operation. They lied to him, imprisoned him, experimented on him, and altered his DNA and now he can transform into a wolf at will. But since his escape, the only thing Christopher feels is angry and obsessed - the never ending desire to remember his life before his imprisonment and transformation but CASO wiped the memories of all their prisoners. But Christopher somehow just knows that there is something or someone he needs to remember. He doesn't know how he will regain his life and memories but he will not give up until he does! Oh my! Handsome sexy wolf shifter-check! Beautiful human heroine-check! Suspense, action and romance-check! Fantastic entertainment and a great read!

>Review – Alpha in the City -

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is part of the BBW Paranormal Shifter Romance series and ends in an HEA.

>This is a very short story with a lot of action. Christopher has been rescued from a facility that turned him and others into animal shifters. Christopher is a wolf. He cannot remember anything before his capture 3 years prior. Coming across an address from his past, he finds an old girlfriend, Hannah, and recognizes her as his true mate. Almost immediately people are trying to kill them.

>I thought it was interesting how the author had the shifters known to the outside world, instead of hiding what they've become. I thought a bit more description was needed in regards to the rescue of Hannah. The new wolf pack would have been interesting to meet, as well. A lot was accomplished in a small number of pages, but the story wouldn't have suffered if the author had made the story longer.

>This book is recommended for an adult audience.

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
What an interesting and fascinating read this was. Who would have thought that getting a dream job would become a nightmare. Christopher is basically kidnapped and held hostage for a government run company. He and several others have undergone a series of injections that alter their DNA. Missing girl 3 years, he finally finds his way back to his old love.
Hannah has been living in limbo for 3years waiting to hear any news on Christopher. How can she move on not knowing if he is alive or dead. When he finally shows all hell breaks loose.
They have people hunting Christopher down and will stop at nothing, even killing Hannah to get to him.
Will Christopher let the beast out and kill or can he control it? Will Hannah accept him now that he is a shifter? Can they stop the company from creating other shifters?
The characters are are fun and easy to become attached to, leaves you wanting more.

Christopher went to start a new job with the government. He was to be working with big animals but that first day changed everything. He was locked up his DNA changed and his memory wiped out.
3 years later he was free but with no past. He and his people like him ecaped from CASO. (Certified animal soldiers operation.) His memory is still gone and he is a wolf shifter. A guy came by his place with some information on his past. The address he was living at when he came in for his job and he remeets his girlfriend. Thats when things go nuts and ...... lol I cant tell you everything it will spoil the story.
It's a great story, great action, and I lived the characters. All in all I highly enjoyed reading it,
Book gifted for an honest review and I honestly loved it.

Let me just say that this is the first book I have read in this series and I WILL go back and read books 1-4. Wow! What a ride. Even coming in at the conclusion of these books, I was able to understand what was going on. There truly was tons of action and I was very involved in the story. Jacob’s transformation, and his coming to understand himself, was a different take for me. And I loved it. Jennifer was not your typical “maiden in jeopardy”; she was strong, resourceful, and snarky. She stood up for what she wanted and was a believable heroine. I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I will read books by this author again.

This is a first time read for me by this author and while I enjoyed the story I felt like it was too short. I felt like I was just starting to enjoy Christopher and Hannah reconnecting and the story ended. I am sure that there will be more about this pair in the future and I will most likely pick up the book so I can find out if they get their truly HAE with no outside interference. I will also be looking at more works by Ms. Rain in the future and feel like she will be an author to watch.

Oh my god!!!! Hot, hot, hot! This was such a great read. The story flowed well, characters were developed within the storyline. What more could you ask for? I could have asked for a longer story, but I'm not sure how the storyline could have been expanded to accomplish this. I can't even fault the editing. Well done, Amira!

Good book. Loved the story. Just wished it was longer. It's an exciting concept for a story and could've been even better if it had been built upon more. Still it is a good story and worth reading.
