Tate Long is a lab assistant in the police morgue.

He has never felt squeamish at the sight of dead bodies.

Until now.

With a shock he realises that the latest victim is someone he knows.

For reasons he can’t fully explain to himself, he feels unable to let the authorities know who she is.

So her body remains anonymous.

Confused and conflicted Tate decides to finally confess to his manager, Hamlyn, what he knows.

But when he slides open Martine’s drawer, her body is gone.

Only Tate and Hamlyn had access to the lab.

And when Tate checks the case-notes, he realises they have disappeared as well…

Loved this bite size collection of fast paced, psychological thrillers - all in the format of very well written short stories. Great find and a great way to get my GoodReads stats up too 😊

A great one to finish with - so, SO dark!
