Comic book mini-series published by DC Comics in 2002. Four issues. The series was created as part of DC's Elseworlds line and it based on characters from the Justice League of America but featured them in a setting where Batman and Superman had never existed.
John Arcudi has made a name for himself by scripting comics that manage to combine long-running subplots with impeccable characterization and action sequences, making for some of the most exciting and consistently good comics out today.
I usually enjoy the different twists an Elseworlds story gives on some of my favorite characters. This story however i found to be to disjointed and rambling in it's plot to be enjoyable. Not recommended
I love most of the elseworlds stories, but this left me really cold. I found the story predictable and the artwork average. I could say more but I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
