When a stranger appears in the middle of a very important celebration, no one can foresee the island connections that will later come to light. Kittiwake Penaluna is drawn to the island at a sad time in her life; she’s broken, but it doesn’t take long for the islanders to rally round and take her under their wing.
Ellie and Zen are busier than they’ve ever been, jumping from task to task with little time for themselves. Will they ever find a moment together away from all the drama that constantly follows them around the island?
The forthcoming arrival of nine new mini animals puts even more pressure on the islanders, but Bert is resolute, and it’s all hands to the pump to prepare for their arrival. The Mini-Fest fundraiser gets off to a great start, until a despised face from the past appears and throws everything into chaos.

4⭐ Genre ~ contemporary fiction Series ~ Love Lindisfarne #3 Others in the series ~ Love Lindisfarne, Love Beyond Lindisfarne Setting ~ Northumberland Publication date ~ June 22, 2025 Est Page Count ~ 355 (60 chapters) POV ~ single 1st Featuring ~ small town, island life, no steamage
We’re back to catch up with Ellie and all the Lindisfarne folks. Whether it’s animals or orphans they are always welcoming…unless you’re a mean old hag...she takes the cake for being miserable and rude.
The orphan in this case is Kittie, a 16 year old who recently lost her mom in an accident. Her mom always spoke about the island fondly, and particularly about one visit she had about 17 years ago. Hmmm. Of course everyone will do all they can to help her. I was thrilled with the outcome for her, even if it’s a bit open ended.
Ellie & Zen’s relationship is progressing nicely. They are just as adorable as all the new baby animals that have been adopted.
Overall, the blurb tells it perfectly ~ it is full of heart and it will leave you with a wide smile and a warm glow.
Series notes: I say definitely read the others in the series first so you’ll already know what’s the what and who’s the who.
It was lovely to return to Lindisfarne and the fabulous characters that this author has introduced us to throughout the last couple of books. Once again, the primary focus revolves around the love between Ellie and Zen. Their romance has gone from strength to strength as they have overcome an array of obstacles that could have broken lesser couples. However, their love is built on more solid ground and has withstood numerous challenges, emerging much stronger for the experience. As the story unfolds, we are reminded that Bert and Meg rarely leave their roles as custodians of the island’s livestock, remaining a driving force behind all the island’s activities. However, in honour of their anniversary, they have agreed to take a short break and leave their menagerie in the more than capable hands of Ellie and Zen, supported by their small army of willing volunteers. The animals feature strongly, and their numbers increase as a result of a mercy mission led by Zen and a few other residents. The main story revolves around the arrival of Kitti, who feels drawn to the island after her mother's death. Finding her sanctuary with Ellie and Zen, she soon finds her place and an opportunity to work with animals, which fuels her ambition to pursue a career veterinary medicine. All of this unfolds against the backdrop of new arrivals and familiar faces returning. It was a pleasure to get to know the new characters, and Inigo was easy to imagine, although it was a challenge not to hear the infamous line from the Princess Bride! The story is very busy, but I managed to keep up to speed and not lose track of anyone, although I can think of at least one character that I couldn’t have cared less about. The main message that I took from this book reminded me of the strength in friendships and that blood isn’t always thicker than water. Packed with some of the best characters you could imagine, this story should warm the cockles of your heart.
I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

My Opinion
Love Forever Lindisfarne is the third book in the Love Lindisfarne series but it can be read as a standalone – however, as this series is so delightful I would recommend reading the books in the correct order. I love returning to Lindisfarne to catch up with the familiar characters and animals. Kimberley Adams has written an uplifting story that I would highly recommend.
Who's coming? I'm off to Lindisfarne for my third visit...
It's such a likeable place to visit, the community is so friendly and I love the way they all rally together in times of need.
I caught up with old faces and new, both human and animal. It was great to see Zen and Ellie still going strong. I loved Kittiwake as did the community. They soon made her feel part of the 'family'.
It was an absolute delight to be back in Lindisfarne. I came away feeling refreshed and uplifted...the perfect tonic!
It was lovely to revisit Lindisfarne and connect again with the locals and we have some new characters, both human and animal varieties. Wonderful characters in a fantastic location which made me immediately want to book a stay there and join in with this amazing community. A charming book which I read with mostly a big smile on my face.
How lovely to return to Lindisfarne again with this beautiful and uplifting story. So fantastic to catch up with old friends from previous stories and to meet new ones. Kittiwake escapes to the Island, to try to connect with the place that her recently deceased mother loved, her heart broken and her future uncertain. It was so heartwarming to see her instantly supported by the community and given a chance to heal. There’s always plenty of fun and amusing moments, as well as the emotional ones in this series, I really loved the name choosing for the mini animals that are rescued. Lots of goings on kept me riveted throughout, and especially towards the end I was completely invested with all the revelations that were occurring. Another pleasurable read, I can’t wait to visit Lindisfarne again soon!
It was so lovely to be back in Lindisfarne with all the regulars and a few new characters and animals.
Such a beautifully written book, catches you from the first page, you can feel all the love that Kimberley has put into this book 📖
I do just have to mention the begining - very well put together and definitely lead the reader on a path that just wasn't what you thought it would be.... very clever!
Zen and Ellie are living there best life on Lindisfarne, happily together in there little attic apartment... when a new arrival to the island shakes the daily routine... Ellie just wants to help which is her natural instinct, with a little help from a few islanders Ellie manages to achieve what she wants but how long will this last and will Kitti get to stay on the island and more importantly who is her dad???
Bert and Meg are still working hard on the small holding and get to welcome some new animals in need of some tlc, with a little help from Maurice and Zen.
Ethel is still very much her normal self which was wonderful to read... in this book she starts to plan for her future as she is no spring chicken anymore.... dishing out some beautiful surprises and her normal to the point opinions.
There is a new hottie on the island who manages to get the attention of the female residents....
Ellies best friends are still the best, Sophie and Jack have some important decisions to make together what will be decided?
Tara and Toby are forever busy with castle life and a new baby to handle.
Aurora also welcomes a new baby, juggling her business and the new arrival is hard something has yo give but will it be?
As ever all the other residents are all in the book and a few new ones are welcomed to the island.
I have never wanted to visit a place as much as I do Lindisfarne, Kimberley has a way of making you fall in love with the island and it's residents both human and animals. It teaches you that family isn't always best and that friendships are a truly beautiful thing!
Now I do hope that the fourth book is nearly finished and ready for release as I can't wait to read it and find out what happens next for Ellie and Zen...
Thank you for bringing the reader into your world and thank you for another wonderful book ❤️
The community, the 'minis', the romances, too, Add in a mystery- no wonder this is great to read to review! The island, the people, the animals and the new Make this a book I highly recommend to you!
With familiar characters to catch up with and to greet And new ones arriving for us to meet Marriage renewal and so much more What a delightful read to immerse in and explore!
This time there's a new arrival coming to stay for a while She's sad and grieving, can the islanders help her smile? Nine new mini animals will help show the way But funds are needed to keep them every day.
A fundraiser, discontent and so much more With new opportunities and past events to explore. With great characters, friends brought to life in this book I highly recommend you go give it more than a look!
I'm loving reading this series and can't wait to read more There are so many new plans much too hard to ignore. There are plenty of surprises and revelations, too, No wonder I don't hesitate to highly recommend this book to you!
For my copy of this book I say a huge thank you As I share with you this, my honest review.
This may be the third instalment, but if, like me, you're new to the 'Love Lindisfarne' series, then do not hesitate to dive straight in. I may have been a newbie to this island, much like young Kitti, but it was no time at all before I felt like I was catching up with old friends. The warm characters are so well-written and clearly had such rich histories and bonds with one another, that I couldn't help laughing (and sometimes crying) along with them as I turned the pages. This is book three in this series. I would recommend reading this series in order. We meet some previous characters and a few new ones in this story. Everyone is involved with the mini fest and the arrival of new mini animals. It’s a feel good story with a little bit of drama woven in between.
Absolutely loved this story, the more times we revisit the island the more I fall in love with it and it's characters. I'm really really hoping there's going to be a 4th book
