So here's my personal history of this book. Growing up my brother and I used to love to love walking or riding around the corner to the bookstore. I was (and am) obsessed with sharks and went loved to look at all the books. I came across this one with it's hard cover, dust jacket, amazing pictures, and instantly knew that I just HAD to have it. A look at the inside cover showed me that it was $19.95 which to a 9 year old is an insane amount of money. I scrimped and saved and ironed shirts for a quarter a piece until I bought this book. It's been cherished ever since!

I liked this book, because it was something that I had not read before and was not use to reading.
This book was all about sharks!

This book talked about peoples experiences with sharks and different encounters people have had with them. It also talks abut the sharks population and what we can do to help, them.

I have not read books from this author before, but believe that he is a good writter and that every author has a different style of writing.

Personally this is not the kind of book i am into. Although this book has changed the way that I think about sharks. I would recommend this book to people that are into sharks!
