In the Midnight Hour follows several characters on a destructive collision course where lives will be lost and careers destroyed. Filled with an array of interesting characters and plot ideas, In the Midnight Hour was quite an entertaining and chilly read.

As a retired military medic and X-ray technologist, Reggie Ridgway certainly has the inside scoop on hospital life and the everyday happenings of its staff. I found it quite interesting to find out what happens behind the curtains and, with all his knowledge of hospitals, he really brought the setting to life.

At times the character descriptions or operation procedures are a bit lengthy, but once the action really starts and the tension rises, you’ll care even more for these characters. The climax of In the Midnight Hour is certainly one of those endings that’ll keep you reading late into the night. Perhaps that’s another reason why Reggie chose the title.

I had recently read a couple of novels that were really hard work to finish. In direct contrast 'In The Midnight Hour,' is fast paced, well written and enthralling. The action starts in the first chapter, slows a little in the middle when the hero and heroine are forming a relationship and finishes with a real oomph. One of the best suspense medical thrillers that I have read, and finished it in one session...couldn't put it down.

Very good read

It's a fast paced plot. It grabs you from the beginning. Some parts are a little exaggerated, but still, good and entertaining.

Was not one of my favorites

To me it seemed to switch between past and present tense, had too much detail in some places an not enough in others. The medical part went into too much detail without really adding to the story. The characters had too much detail about them without really connecting any of them. That's just my option.

Love it. I just hope that Abrams was introduced earlier. It would make him an interesting character instead of late supporting character. Anyway cannot wait to read another great story from Ms Ridgway

A truly absorbing thriller.

Don't get bored with the flashbacks and put it down. It's all part of the weaving together of subplots. At the end, you will be very glad you persevered. It will hold your attention from beginning to end and you'll be glad it did.

Medical info made it even worse. Who can look at their heart
