The Diamante Saga itself is an overarching plot that has come to fruition over the past few books so I really recommend reading the first two before starting this book as well as my review because otherwise it’ll be confusing.
After dealing with the aftermath of the events in Dominance, Ciro Diamante is left picking up the pieces of his fallen empire. With his brothers either presumed dead or missing, he is sent to a Russian prison where he spends time becoming a cold hearted killer. Gone is the funny and unserious twin brother that we’ve grown to love, in his place is a man who has had to fight through hell to survive. And after being inducted into the Bratva, he meets Vanya who steals his heart immediately. But Vanya isn’t just your average mafia princess, she’s the perfect match for Ciro as she fights for her place in her world. And as they both work together and realize that there are feelings involved beyond physical attraction, the harder they fall for each other.

This book, as with the previous ones in the series, is incredibly plot heavy with romance being secondary so keep that in mind while reading. But man, it was an action packed plot indeed. From fights, to being on the run, to making tough choices, there was never a dull moment throughout. And yet, romance made it’s way and inserted itself so well that you really felt like you were there in their journey. Ciro and Vanya’s love story is one of companionship and partnership, based in mutual trust and respect so as two very domineering personalities come together, they learn to be one instead of being against each other and I loved them for it.
Things leave off at an uncertain point for the plot (don’t worry our MCs got their HEA!) so there’s more to come in Ero’s book Descent and I’m looking forward to seeing how this all ends. It’s been a crazy ride and I’m sure it’ll just get crazier.

I am absolutely obsessed with this book. It’s a stranger-in-a-strange-land tale, literally. Ciro, a former mafia prince who ended up doing hard time in a Russian Gulag and emerging as the Jackal, a newly minted member of the Volk Bratva. He was handpicked by Vanya, adopted daughter of the Bratva’s Pakhan, and sent to the Gulag for testing. He earned the nickname Shakul, which means jackal, because he laughed at his enemies and went a bit… crazy… when he got riled up to fight. I don’t always get the nickname, but whatevs because Shakul (am I even spelling it right? ) sounds cool. Vanya is a badsass in her own right, and the two of them are either going to fight or get horizontal on every surface in the house. Of course, Vanya is Ciro’s best friend’s sister, but the trope is inverted because Makvey is remarkably cool about it.
This book reads as if an action movie and a romantic thriller had a love child that got an extra dose of sexytime added in.
It starts off strong and continues from strength to strength. The pacing is breakneck with total action flick moves reminiscent of Jet Li films, Chuck Norris, and The Fast and the Furious. Martial Arts, MMA, fighting dirty, and stunt driving are all present and accounted for.
The sexytime is scorching hot and makes me rethink my life choices, lemme tell ya. And the chemistry between Ciro and Vanya is nuclear.
Characters are interesting and distinctive, albeit not deep. Again, action movie. The pregnancy doesn’t happen until the epilogue, which is my only beef with this story.
I don’t think I could like this book any better. It’s a thrill ride from start to finish.

Out of the series so far, this is my favourite, funny, and fast-paced. I love all the characters especially Ciro, one of the Diamante twins who in the last book was sent to Russia on a mission and was caught by the Volk, a branch of the Bratva.
It starts with Ciro fighting for his life in the Gulag, where he makes friends with Matvey. When released, he goes with Mat back to his compound run by Pyotr, and under him is Vanya, the lady who caught him in the previous book.
The chemistry between Ciro and Vanya is off the charts but Fyodor, a childhood friend of Vanya's is not pleased as it was expected for them to eventually be in a relationship, But Vanya only sees him as a very good friend. Has Ciro put a target on his back already from Fyodor?
The Bratva are under siege in their city, who are these invaders, and what do they want? When things go to hell, Vanya and Ciro travel to find out what and why this has happened. Things don't go smoothly, their lives are in danger but what they find out shocks them. Ciro has to make a tough decision.
Ciro has left his old life behind, he is now Bratva for life, but will he ever be accepted into it? Ciro realises his life now belongs to Vanya, she is the most important person to him. He will do anything to keep her and the Volk safe from threats and tough choices have to be made.
The book leaves us on a cliffhanger and can't wait to read the next one to find out the answers that this book threw up.

I've actually been having a hard time deciding what to write in my review for Devotion.
After reading the previous books in the Fractured Diamonds series I was looking forward to Ciros story. The jokester man-child that hasn't got a serious bone in his body.
Devotion delivered what I was hoping for in most parts but also disappointed me a bit.
The book is gloriously over exaggerated, so very fitting for Ciro, but still has emotion packed chapters. Yet I was missing depth in some moments where the story felt rushed.
And I am so sorry to say but I think the blurb for the book is only partly accurate. I can only imagine that it was written for an earlier version. Since I'm definitely not an author I won't even try to formulate a different one. My suggestion is to only expect half of what you've read in the blurb and you'll be fine.
If I could I would give Devotion 3.5 stars but since I liked the last couple of books so much and I am very much looking forward to the next one in the series I rounded up to 4.

Devotion is a suspenseful and page turning dark mafia romance. This novel had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. I absolutely did NOT want to set this book down until I read the last page. Devotion is amazingly written, well balanced with action/romance and beautifully executed by Lisa Cullen. She continues to showcase what an amazing author she is with each book I’ve read by her thus far. I’m looking forward to reading more of her amazing stories in the future. The main characters of this story are Ciro and Vanya. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. The chemistry between these two characters is absolutely amazing and undeniably irresistible. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know both Ciro and Vanya as well as witnessing their story come to life through the pages of this book. I would absolutely give this book as a recommendation for anyone who loves reading dark mafia romances.

This is an exciting second book in the series by Lisa Cullen. We are diving straight into where we left off with Ciro. Ciro was in Russia. After the fall of Dom Violeta’s empire he was no use to the maf!a so the Bratv4 took them under their wing. That is when we meet strong and sexy Vanya. Her uncle is the Pakhan. In reality she is being trained to take over once her uncle ages out. Her and her brother Matvney are integral to the inner workings of the Bratv4.
You get steam. You get some action. Fast and the furious type racing through the streets and some vicious villains. I could ask for more in this story.

Ciro is released from the Gulag and even finds himself still fighting for his life. The carefree man is no longer. Ciro was hardened by the short time spent in jail. Vanya has feelings for Ciro, and though he shouldn't, he has feelings for Vanya. Ciro will do anything to protect her and keep her safe from the endless trouble they seem to find themselves in. But one person, Fyodor, is not happy about their relationship.

Let me first start by saying I'm behind in that I have not yet read the previous books in this series (I'll be fixing that now) but I was still able to thoroughly enjoy this read. Our main characters here are Ciro and Vanya. While this book does have some romance and chemistry, the overall focus is more plot based just so you are aware going in. I think Cullen did an amazing job writing and delivering and exciting, intense journey that was raw and emotional. I loved that out main characters found their HEA but we're left with a cliffy that has me desperate for more. A great read but I recommend reading in series order if possible.

Fractured Diamonds Saga book 3 is Devotion. This one is Ciro and Vanya's intense, intriguing, dramatic journey. This story is so emotional and heartbreaking. It's raw and gritty and I felt everything these characters did. My heart went out to Ciro and Vanya. This Diamante family has survived horrible tragedies and it seems it's not over yet.
They've been through so much, particularly Ciro. But when I read the epilogue, immediately my heart ached for Ero and Circe. I can't wait for their story. This author has brought readers a fantastic series and brilliant characters that's easy to get into and hard to forget.

This was a good read, and these books focus a lot on the plot rather than the romance/spice sides of things.
Vanya is a strong FMC with her head on her shoulders which is honestly great to see in this genre, and Ciro is your head over heels, possessive MMC. They're the perfect match for each other and the chemistry between these two main characters is sizzling.
The main characters get their HEA, but the ending leaves us with a cliffhanger in setup for the next book in the series which I can't wait to read.
Overall, a good book and I'd recommend it.

This is the story of Ciro and Vanya. She is the sister of his best friend, Ciro is scarred by his short stay in the Gulag and still has to fight to survive. He starts his task for the Bratva. The prison has changed him he is no longer the man he was before he went in, despite the fact that she has feelings for him and he knows he shouldn't have them for her they don't let anything stop them and when her life is in danger he does everything he can to protect her and keep her safe with all the problems that come with it.

2.5 - This was just an ok read for me.
By the halfway point, I was honestly super frustrated. It felt like the plot was dragging and the twists weren’t exactly surprises being that the blurb gave everything away—already knowing where Ero was and that Matvey would die made it feel predictable, and yet I was still upset about Matvey’s death. It didn’t seem necessary or impactful enough to justify the loss.
Ciro’s lack of action really grated on me too. For someone who supposedly cares and was fairly close with his brothers, he wasn’t doing nearly enough to connect with his brothers. It felt like a lot of missed opportunities to make a better story for both Ciro, as well as Ero in the future.
Around 70%, things did start to pick up a little. I wasn’t fully on board with the direction, but at least there was some decent things happening.
A good thing of the book for me, was the dynamic between Ciro and Van—they were genuinely great together, and some of Ciro’s dry humor hit the mark. It had some good fight scenes too.
That said, I closed the book unsure if I even care enough to read the final one in the series. The emotional momentum just isn’t there for me.

Ciro is just starting to get his life back so he can reclaim his empire when he meets Vanya. Its not long before sparks are flying between them. Vanya is a mafia princess that knows how to get what she wants. She is also his friend's sister and a line he shouldn't have crossed. However, they seem to work great together. Will he claim all his empire back? Will Vanya stay with him?
This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

This story is the second in the series. Ciro was released and has been hardened by jail. He has feelings for Vanya and she has feelings for him. She is the sister of his best friend. Their story is very intense and dramatic. It is also very emotional. You feel everything they are going through.
Vanya is very strong and Ciro is very possessive of her. I loved the chemistry between them. I look forward to more from this talented author.

Devotion by Lisa Cullen is the engaging story of Ciro and Vanya. He’s a bit of a jokester and part of the bratva. The past three months have been horrific for him. But, then he’s out…seeing Vanya again. Lots of secrets come out…lots of drama and feelings…some that he can’t admit. Now, their lives are in danger…and the deceased seek revenge…from beyond. Excellent story!!! Didn’t really care for his constant flippancy. It was a little annoying. But, didn’t detract from the story!

This book by Lisa Cullen is a compelling read, though not my top pick in the series. Ciro, a passionate and protective character, deeply loves Vanya, a strong-willed and beautiful woman. Their chemistry is electric, making the book a page-turner. Highly recommend reading it to stay caught up with the series!.

This is the third story in the "Fractured Diamonds" saga. This one is about Ciro and Vanya. It is a dark mafia romance that differs from most I have read lately. I thoroughly enjoyed every morsal of this story. It is intriguing with danger, betrayal, passion, love, forgiveness and so much more. What a tangled web. I would recommend reading these in order to get more out of the story and ongoing saga. There is an overarching plot and connected characters.

I Like the plot and I like the characters!!!!😭😭

But for me the writing was a bit confusing, it feels like theres just so many things going at once so it sometimes get confusing 😭.

This thrilling story is intense and had me all caught up in the main characters. She is his best friend's sister who he promised to take care of. Their path to happiness is filled with twists and turns that had me in their corner from start to finish.

This series is interconnected even then we get new partners in each book. Ciro Diamante is now being trained to be a Bratva men. When he meets Vanya he falls for him. This book was amazing and so emotional. I can’t wait for the next book as it was left off showing us who is next and I am ready for this book.

Ciro’s book definitely took a turn at heartbreak and sadness. I’m not sure that I like the way it went. I’m giving this 5 stars because it was well written and gives all the emotion and gasping moments. There was also some cringing. I’ll be interested to see what Fiero’s book has in store for us.
