By now the reader of the series should know what to expect - good worldbuilding and character development, but at times a bit detail orientated. I found the behind the scenes plotting a bit confusing. New factions, characters and connections with earlier books appeared out of nowhere, and while it does not clash with earlier books, it does confuse matters. I am especially curious how the author keeps things straight on who knows what and why. Sometimes a faction knows things only knowns by very few people, sometimes they don't and I cannot see rhyme and reason on why. Still, if I ignore the plotting in the background and just focus on events, character development, action and humour I still greatly enjoy the book.
