Alexander and the rest of the GKU are busier than ever trying to stamp out the worst of the brushfires that are sparking up faster than they can put them out. They are coming to the realization that they are facing multiple threats against their plans to foster peace in a tinderbox galaxy. Worse, they’re not sure what groups are utterly incapable of making any peace treaty without their secretly plotting to break it and make other groups seem like the culprit.
This book covers a significant amount of the problems facing the GKU as they attempt to promote their ideals in hopes of preventing all out chaos from burning down the possibility for a peaceful solution. But it becomes clear that some unknown powers prefer chaos…
“The Weight of Order (The First Peacemaker Book 3)” is pitifully weak and bad, continuation of another Variant product. This one lists three (3) authors who allegedly penned the dreck and drivel, though this reader surmises due to the writing patterns (i.e. incessant repetition of words/phrasing), writing software templates (likely AI-driven) are the main ‘authors.’
I really loved this novel. It made me read with teary eyes a few times on how Alex and Four interacted, their willingness to do what was right and also to do what it took to save a friend. It also made one think about the definition of “sentient beings “. Reading these series of novels is a great tie-in with “ The Backyard Spaceship “ series. I really enjoyed this one
It truly amazes me that mear morals can imagine the same things that I have imagined when I'm imagining. The BYSS universe is a place I wish I could visit someday.
I am thoroughly enjoying these books! It's so cool to see how It's so cool to see how the peacemakers formed and what they went through. And how Anvil Dark came to be.
