Dr. Susan M. Katz is Associate Professor Emerita of English at North Carolina State University where she has taught courses in business, technical, and professional communication.
From 2005 to 2016, she served as Internship Coordinator, and in that capacity she developed a Professional Internships course which helps students prepare for the job search process, identify their strengths, and consider a variety of potential career paths.
In addition to teaching the Professional Internships course, she created a course for graduate students in English, creative writing, and technical communication which helps them expand their awareness of the role of writing and writers in the workplace.
In retirement, she enjoys spending time traveling, gardening, quilting, crocheting, and reading fiction.
